High-speed train connects France and Spain
Girona, Spain, Jan 10 (EFE).- Spain inaugurated this week a rail line from Barcelona to the French border that completes the process of linking the two nations' high-speed passenger rail services.
Nine of the so-called AVE trains began running this week between Barcelona and the border city of Figueres in each direction.

http://www.avantgardelimousine.net *The perfect transfer in Barcelona*I arrive on time to the train station in Barcelona (Sants)with the high speed train but very tired.Luckily I have my driver waiting for me on the platform for the transfer.He helps me with luggage and guide me to the street.I feel safe with him.I see a bright Mercedes Benz sedan on the front door and it´s mine brand-new,waiting for me to transfer.The chauffeur invited me to come & offered me a bottle of water while accommodating my luggage.He transfer me to a village called S´Agaró in Costa Brava at one hour from BCN city & I can go shopping.I´m inside,fresh & relaxed and ready for transferring,while very happy to know my new destination.The chauffeur gives me a daily newspaper and a chocolate bonbon.Without realizing it,I get to the hotel.Transfer past me fast,and in less than one hour,I´m in the terrace restaurant having lunch,with a fantastic view of the Mediterranean.This is vacation! Thanks for this awesome transfer!!

Madrid, Jul 25 (EFE).- A camera captures the moment when a high-speed passenger train crashes in northern Spain, killing 80 people.

The Shinkansen (新幹線?, new trunk line) is a network of high-speed railway lines in Japan operated by four Japan Railways Group companies. Shinkansen literally means new trunk line, referring to the high-speed rail line network. The name Superexpress (超特急 chō-tokkyū, initially used for Hikari trains, was retired in 1972 but is still used in English-language announcements and signage.\r

The Tōkaidō Shinkansen is the worlds busiest high-speed rail line. Carrying 151 million passengers per year (March 2008), it has transported more passengers (over 5 billion, entire network over 10 billion) than any other high-speed line in the world. Between Tokyo and Osaka, the two largest metropolises in Japan, up to thirteen trains per hour with sixteen cars each (1,323-seat capacity) run in each direction with a minimum headway of three minutes between trains. Though largely a long-distance transport system, the Shinkansen also serves commuters who travel to work in metropolitan areas from outlying cities. Japans Shinkansen network had the highest annual passenger ridership (a maximum of 353 million in 2007) of any high-speed rail network until new, when Chinas high-speed rail network surpassed it at 370 million passengers annually.\r

High-speed train inaugurated by Spain PM arrives late due to technical issues
Castellon, Jan 22 (EFE).- A high-speed train that was on its inaugural journey from Madrid to the eastern city of Castellon with the Spanish Prime Minister on board on Monday arrived almost half an hour late due to technical issues.
After a brief stop in Valencia, the AVE carrying Mariano Rajoy and several Spanish and regional politicians was forced to grind to a halt to allow a much slower local train through.
The local train had been diverted due to faults in the track switch system, according to sources from the public works ministry, whose chief, Iñigo de la Serna, was also on board the AVE.
The ministry assured that the wait had occurred under special circumstances and that starting from Tuesday, nothing of the sort would happen.

The Canyon Blaster is an indoor roller coaster located at Circus Circus's Adventuredome theme park in Las Vegas. It features back-to-back vertical loops and corkscrews, and ends with a helix inside the mountain that takes up a large portion of the park. TOMY Plarail Pokemon Pichu Bros train set Unboxing review and first run
Hi Guys and Gals Here we have a special train from Takara TOMY Plarail its the Pokemon Pichu Bros set (Sorry I know very little about Pokemon and I called Pichu Pikachu) Perhaps check out my brothers channel here: \r

Anyway back to the train I bought it on ebay for around $50 it came shipped from HK, The set contains a playmat and a loop of track with 4 regular straight pieces and The train itself which is the locomotive and a carriage/coach/car.\r

The Locomotive is very similar in design to the early Plarail Disney trains from Hong Kong Disneyland, This of course has a much more modern drive system than the 2x Disney trains I have yet to make videos of. The train runs on a single AA battery wich is located in the coal compartment in the rear of the locomotive, The train runs almost silently and with a good speed it has no problems getting around the track on my railway (except for one derailment that was not the trains fault), The train presents very well with Charers from pokemon mounted on the train and bright colors throughout which ties in well with the cartoon its based on. There was one sticker on the side of the cab that was not quite straight but its of little concern.\r

The passenger car roof is removable to hold 6 plakids although the set comes with 2 (it should come with 6 IMHO and one of them an Ash). Pokemon was at its peak here in this country about 15 years ago with allot of kids collecting/trading the cards and playing the games, its hard to say its died off because to me it seems there are still allot of pokemon products in stores here to this day it remains very popular. \r

I think a worthwhile set and an easy way to get an Old timey looking American locomotive of which the other plarail versions can run into the hundreds of dollars.\r

Sorry I do not know enough about Pokemon to name the monsters featured on the Train and playmat but perhaps a diehard fan can fill in the Gaps in the Comments :)\r

FZ1800R16KF4 is an 1800Amps/1600Volts single switch IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor) silicon module with IGBT2. It is a triple common emitter common gate transistor. Its height, weight & depth are 38mm, 190mm & 140mm respectively and net weight is 5 lb 1 oz. This module's maximum operating temperature is 125 C and minimum operating temperature is -40 C. It can be mounted either in SMD or SMT style. FZ1800R16KF4 is manufactured by Infineon Technologies, Germany. Infineon was formerly known as Eupec and it is a famous company in the world of semiconductors and system solutions.
FZ1800R16KF4 is an excellent choice for your industry applications. It works great in AC/DC motor control & drives, Commercial, Agriculture and Construction Vehicles (CAV), wind energy systems, railway tractions. Railway traction is among the most demanding applications for power electronic modules. Climatic influences like moisture, dust and wide temperature range are challenging, so are the mechanical aspects. Power electronic suffers from the vibrations inside the trains in addition to the electric and thermal load. The mission profile of trams and subway trains consist of a high number of acceleration and deceleration cycles, repeated day by day. This mode of operation leads to extreme demands regarding power- and thermal-cycling capability. Traction system for trains employ an induction motor as the main driving motor and a VVVF inverter as a control unit, and they have improved remarkably as AC equipment especially because the main circuit semiconductor elements have rapidly improved.
There is hardly any other application that puts such high demands on the components as train traction. High quality, reliability and lifetime are the most important product features in this market segment. IGBT modules in voltage classes 3.3kV, 4.5kV and 6.5kV with enhanced mechanical and thermal features are installed in trains all over the world to allow reliable, safe and cost-efficient operation.
To suit the special needs of this application, Infineon provides FZ1800R16KF4, especially dedicated to traction and similar applications. The high-speed switching characteristic of this IGBT module lessens electromagnetic noise which is generated by the primary motor and enhances the efficiency of energy conversion. It has advantages like ongoing development for higher voltage and current ratings and these benefits make it really useful in railway traction applications. Installing Spal Electrical Fan - S52 E30 Sedan: Part 7
Before our first drive, which admittingly by the looks of it appears to still be a little far in the future, we want to make sure that all the essentials are installed and functioning so we can safely take the sedan on its maiden voyage. \r
There are many ways you can wire in your aftermarket electrical fans, but this is the most straight forward method we could come up with if you have existing fan wiring in your car. This SPAL fan is a single stage, so you will lose the Normal/High speed functionality the stock fan offers. However, this aftermarket fan is quieter and more efficient.\r
Also, Pusher vs Puller? Puller fans are more efficient, but we just simply could not fit one between the radiator and our engine.even the slim ones. Hence, we went with a pusher fan. If you have the room however, we recommend a puller fan. \r
