400 persones celebren la "Festa de la Marina"

La comparsa mariners d’Ontinyent, dins del seu any d’ambaixada de les próximes festes de Moros i Cristians, va organitzar el passat 4 de juny una festa marinera, on es donaren cita els components de la comparsa, festers, amics i familiars per gaudir d’una jornada ludica festiva molt especial.

La festa s'iniciava amb l'arribada de la gent, on la decoració dissenyada i realitzada pels components de la mateixa comparsa, acompanyaren al públic assistent a gaudir d'un bon menú amb bona música a càrrec de la banda de Roglà i el grup Eñe.

Mensaje real de Carnaval 2024 (Promo Día de la ràdio)

El carnaval o carnestoltes és una celebració que té lloc immediatament abans de la quaresma i que té data variable (entre febrer i març segons l'any). Tradicionalment aquesta festa comença un dijous (dijous gras) i acaba el dimarts següent (dimarts de carnaval). El carnaval combina elements com ara disfresses, grups que canten cobles, desfilades i festes al carrer. Tot i les diferències que la seva celebració presenta al món, la seva característica comuna és la de ser un període de permissivitat i un cert descontrol. Als seus inicis, probablement amb un cert sentit del pudor propi de la religió.

Alguns autors han proposat diversos orígens per al carnaval, com les festes paganes que es realitzaven en honor a Baco, el déu romà del vi, o les Saturnals i les Lupercals romanes, o les que es realitzaven en honor del bou Apis a l'Antic Egipte . Tot i això, no hi ha evidència que s'hagin celebrat festes similars per les mateixes dates abans de l'any 1200. Casualment en el mateix període se celebra el Dia Mundial de la Ràdio que per a més conya és el 13. Amb tot això junt, que el sentit de l'humor i l'originalitat no hi falti, please.

X Marxa Nocturna al Pla de la Vella - Corresendes XRS

Dissabte passat, 21 de juliol, vam estar celebrant a Xeresa la desena edició de la nostra marxa noctucna, també vam poder celebrar la gran assistència que vam tenir, ja que de 264 inscrits en total, van participar en la marxa 236 persones, tot un record. És molt d'agrair el bon comportament i paciència de tots els assistents, tant grans com a xicotets. El club sempre organitza aquests esdeveniments amb l'ànim de donar a conèixer tot el nostre entorn, ja que coneixent-ho "in situ", entendrem que devem cuidar-ho i respectar-ho perquè les generacions esdevenidores puguen gaudir, si cap encara més, de la zona tan privilegiada en la qual habitem. Seguint en el capítol d'agraïments, destacar la gran labor dels nostres voluntaris i voluntàries, que dir que ja no sàpien, son el millor patrimoni del club, moltíssimes gràcies. Agrair com sempre la incondicional col·laboració de l'Ajuntament de Xeresa ja que sense ells tot açò seria molt més complicat de dur a terme,moltes gràcies. Sabem que hi ha moltes coses que millorar, aquest és el nostre afany. En el 2019 el Club compleix 10 anys caminant per muntanyes i camins, segur que serà un any amb moltes sorpreses i activitats variades. Us esperem en la pròxima Temporada 2018-2019, a partir de setembre comencem una nova aventura i tu pots formar part d'ella per només 25€ de quota anual,us esperem. Feliç estiu!! Salut i Muntanya!!

Senda de la Cortada - Corresendes XRS

Diumenge 10 de març de 2019 Distància: 11 km Desnivell+: 488 m Cortes de Pallàs és un municipi amb un relleu extraordinàriament accidentat, travessat pel riu Xúquer, que en aquest nivell s'embassa, formant un xicotet mar interior amb profunds canons d'enorme bellesa. És també una població, molt bella, amb quasi 900 habitants en l'últim cens, amb una història llarga i interessant: en el seu terme s'han trobat utensilis de l'Edat del Bronze i en els Carrascons, es van trobar monedes de l'època republicana romana. Lloc de certa importància durant l'època musulmana va continuar estant habitada majoritàriament per moriscos durant diversos segles després de la conquesta cristiana. En el terme existeixen restes de diversos castells construïts en època musulmana, encara que en algun cas aprofitats i modificats després de l'ocupació cristiana (Xirel, Otonel, Ruaia i Pileta). En 1609 després del decret d'expulsió dels moriscos, un bon número d'ells es van refugiar en la Mola de Cortes, encara que finalment van ser reduïts i expulsats, quedant el lloc quasi despoblat. Per a nosaltres una fita important és la visita a la fi del segle XVIII del botànic Cavanilles, en l'honor del qual s'ha batejat amb el seu nom parteix de la ruta ("la Cortá", o senda de la Tallada). L'aïllament de Cortes va seguir durant molts anys, ja que fins a 1932, no va tindre comunicació directa per carretera. Després del començament de l'activitat de la central hidroelèctrica Cortes II, en 1988 el municipi s'ha revitalitzat alguna cosa, encara que no tant com l'extraordinari paisatge de la zona es mereix, i això està permetent una lleugera recuperació econòmica, amb un augment del turisme i les expectatives d'aprofitament de la ruta fluvial pel Xúquer. Habitualment es distingeixen en el municipi de Cortes 3 zones: la Mola de Cortes, la vall del Xúquer i les depressions septentrionals. Un fet de gran importància per al paisatge és que les aigües del Xúquer presenten un cabal mitjà amb escasses variacions al llarg de l'any, sense grans crescudes ni èpoques d'estiatge; el motiu és que l'embassament està regulat, per a mantindre la producció d'energia elèctrica. Però aquest embassament té moltes altres coses associades d'interés. L'embassament de Cortes II, que nega el fons de la vall del Xúquer fins a Cofrents i que és navegable (amb un potencial gran interés turístic) i alberga nombroses espècies d'interés en pesca esportiva, va ser desenvolupat amb projectes basats en l'aprofitament de l'energia sobrant produïda per la Central Nuclear de Cofrents en les hores de menys consum d'electricitat, per a bombar aigua cap a un contraembassament construït a la part alta de la muntanya, i que es tornaria a deixar caure en les hores de major consum d'energia per a augmentar la seua producció. Sobre l'embassament es va alçar un viaducte de més de cent metres d'altura, que permet una millor comunicació, es va construir una central elèctrica a l'interior de la Mola de Cortes, una carretera fins al ci

According to Wampanoag (wahm-puh-NO-ag) folklore these small, bipedal humanoid creatures stand up to 3 feet tall and exhibit human features … although they have grey skin, and enlarged ears, noses and fingers. In addition to occasionally glowing, theyre said to possess a vast array of unusual abilities … The can vanish and reappear at will … Create fire when they desires … employ magic when necessary … and can even transmogrify themselves into a bipedal porcupine. Pukwudgie were once friendly with humans, but apparently the relationship soured. Today, they known to kidnap people and attack victims with spears and knives. As you might expect, humans are sell advised to leave the creatures alone.\r

Skinwalkers\r
These creatures are found in many Native American legends … and the Navajo have some of the best documented lore concerning them. Skinwalkers have the supernatural ability to shapeshift into any creature they wish. They are often disguised as animals like wolves, eagles, or coyotes. But theyll assume the form of any creature that has the abilities it requires at that time. For example, if the skinwalker needs to travel quickly, it might assume the form of a crow. There are some beliefs that skinwalkers can steal the face of another person … or fuse themselves into the body of another, and read the mind of a human. It can also generate any animal noise it chooses, regardless of what form they currently hold. Not unlike vampires, skinwalkers need an invitation before they can enter an inhabited home … so they might mimic the voice of a loved one to lure you outside. And they might try to poison you by blowing corpse dust into your face … thats a powder ground from the bones of infants. Its advised you not upset skinwalkers, because they ively seek to cause humans harm. \r

2.Wendigo (wendy-go)\r
This cryptid has been reported along the Atlantic coast, from the US to Canada … and is said to prefer colder weather. In Algonquin folklore, the Wendigo can be perceived as either a cannibalistic monster or an evil spirit. In its spirit form, it will possess a human and transform them into an abomination. Or it can appear as a monster that displays human traits. In this version, theyre said to stand around 14 feet high, with a gaunt frame and ashy grey skin. One particular description I liked called it an enormous, animated skeleton that reeks of decay. Most accounts agree they have long tongues, sharp yellow fangs and glowing eyes. According to legend, Wendigos were originally humans that turned to cannibalism, or committed another egregiouslike murder … and that triggered their unholy transformation. \r

1.Sasquatch\r
The word ‘Sasquatch comes from the language of the Salish (sal-ish), people indigenous to coastal British Columbia. The word means ‘wild man … and native tribes have long related stories of ape-like animals roaming through North American forests. The Spokanes (spoh-KANs) of Washington state spoke of a race of hairy giants that would arrive at night to steal people and salmon. Witnesses have described them as having a pronounced brow ridge, standing up to 11 feet tall and covered in a coat of reddish brown fur. While theyre most often portrayed as ape-like creatures, the earliest reported sightings claimed they were more bear-like in appearance. Theres a pictograph of a Sasquatch that dates back around a thousand years located near Taft California at the Painted Rock Shelter? You can see it in detail in the picture taken by Kathy Moskowitz Strain. The painting itself is about 8.5 feet tall … and depicts a creature standing upright with its arms outstretched. The left arm has white outlines … while its right arm appears to be a rusty shade of red. Two similar forms are located next to the creature, which are believed to portray a mother and child. Local indigenous people referred to the being as “Hairy Man” Did you know that sightings of such cryptids have been reported on every continent except Antarctica.
