Mon Bridge (Saphan Mon), it's about 900 meters long, the world's second longest and the Thailand's longest wooden bridge.

The bridge is over Songkalia River and called " Uttamanuson Bridge" as well. It's a symbol of Sangkhlaburi district and works for people who live in Sangkhlaburi and Mon villagers. Cars are not accepted (bicycles are okay).You can enjoy walking with a beautiful sunrise, sunset and the relaxing atmosphere.

We`ll pick you up from your Hotel at 6: 15 am to transfer you to the Train Station in Poroy then we`ll board a Tourist VISTADOME Train with reserved seats for 2 hour and 30 minutes to the kilometer 104 start of the hike. (This is the best train service time and itinerary to start the trek by 08:00 am and have plenty of time to enjoy this fantastic trek) so please sleep early the night before) As soon as we arrive to this point we will cross a bridge to the check-out point and show your passports then we will start a soft walk into the other side of the Vilcanota river the trail heads off to the right towards the archeological site of Chachabamba. After hiking in the sun for about four hours, the trail descends into a shaded forest. This is where trekkers can enjoy a beautiful waterfall. After leaving the waterfall and forest, trekkers will arrive at the lower part of the incredible incan site of Wiñaywayna. It is recommended that you start the trek with at least 2 litres of water.

The three dwarves peering from their wagon's hind

Their grizzled faces like dying moons
Still dirty from the digging done

And as the company passed from the valley
Into a higher ground
The rain beat on the ridge and on the meadow
And on the mound

Until nothing was left, nothing at all
Except the body of Sorrow
That rose in time
To float upon the surface of the eaten soil

And a murder of crows did circle round
First one, then the others flapping blackly down

And the carny's van still sat upon the edge
Tilting slowly as the firm ground turned to sludge
And the rain it hammered down

And no-one saw the carny go
I say it's funny how things go
