Farinata, is a thin, unleavened pancake or crêpe of chickpea flour originating in Genoa and later a typical food of the Ligurian Sea coast, from Nice to Pisa.\r

It is made by stirring chickpea flour into a mixture of water and olive oil to form a loose batter, and baking it in the open oven. A tin-plated copper baking-pan is used. Farinata may be seasoned with fresh rosemary, pepper and sea salt. Traditionally farinata is cut into irregularly shaped triangular slices, and eaten (with no toppings) on small plates with optional black pepper. Elsewhere in Italy (traditionally in Tuscany, where it is called cecina (from the Italian word for chickpea, ceci), it is served stuffed into small focaccia (mainly in Pisa) or between two slices of bread, as it is traditional in Livorno. It is sold in pizzerias and bakeries.

Make Nitric Acid - The Complete Guide

We show 3 ways to make nitric acid based on two different chemical approaches both of which can be done using easily accessible materials.\r
\r
Warning: The procedures in this video produce large quantities of toxic gases and deal with highly corrosive acids. All work must be performed in a fume hood with proper safety equipment. And all apparatus must be glass to withstand the acids.\r
\r
Chemically, nitric acid is made by bubbling nitrogen dioxide into water. So the objective in this approach is to generate nitrogen dioxide. This can be done by reing hydrochloric acid, a nitrate salt and copper. Around 80grams of sodium nitrate, over 30 grams of copper and 100mL of hydrochloric acid (37% 12M) are the quantities needed. The ex amount isnt critical. For usable concentrations, the amount of water being converted should be small, around 20-50mL.\r
\r
Any source of nitrate is usable including potassium nitrate, ammonium nitrate and even nitrate-based fertilizers. You can use our previous video on testing for nitrates if you want to determine if yours can be used. \r
\r
The tricky part now is leading the gas into water. Two approaches are shown in the video. In the first approach three containers, such as jars are place inside each other to force the gas to go into the water. This is very inefficient but is very simple to do.\r
\r
The better approach is to lead the gas out of the generator through a tube and into a chilled container of water.\r
\r
The water thats converted into nitric acid can be replaced with hydrogen peroxide for better yield.\r
\r
The chemical waste thats generated contains the valuable copper used before and recovering it is worthwhile due to todays high copper prices. This is simply done by putting in enough aluminum metal that it res with all the acids and copper in solution to create a slurry of copper. This can be filtered to obtain a residue of copper. Its highly contaminated but can still be used to make more nitric acid.\r
\r
For further information on the chemistry type copper and nitric acid into google. The hydrochloric acid and nitrate salt behave as nitric acid (with nitrate from the salt and protons from the hydrochloric acid) and dissolve the copper releasing nitrogen dioxide gas.\r
\r
You can use other concentrations of hydrochloric acid but you need to decrease the amount of water added to keep the concentrations the same.\r
\r
\r
Finally, the last way of making pure nitric acid is to re concentrated sulfuric acid and a pure nitrate salt (NOT fertilizer) and heat it in a glass distillation apparatus to distill over the pure nitric acid. Stoichiometric quantities of both reagents are recommended for maximum yield. \r
\r

A Tour of My One Month Van Conversion [Renaut Master LWB]

Having very limited carpentry experience, my partner and I converted a Renault Master van into a camper van (campervan). The conversion took us one month and we then drove it to Malta. This is a little look at the intricacies inside the vehicle. \r

I used my dads workshop to make this van, but you dont need all the machines that I used - it just takes a bit longer without them, thats all. My dad makes awesome play equipment under a company called Flights of Fantasy and huge timber structures such as bird hides and boardwalks under a company called The Wild Deck Company (two different company names that operate as one company). 6 Uses for Paper Towel Rolls/Cardboard Tubes

I show 6 ways that paper towel rolls and cardboard tubes can be re-purposed instead of thrown out. Upcycling is the process of converting waste materials or useless products into new materials or products of better quality or for better environmental value. I tried to make the list have only useful and innovative purposes instead of things that are just for crafts. Typically when the paper towel rolls and cardboard tubes are empty they are simply thrown out. But surely something can be made from them. There are many things that can be done with them and I show the 6 that I found to be the best uses. \r

1. Cord storage: Wires are cables can cause a lot of clutter and become tangled together. A simple solution is wrapping them up and putting them inside a paper towel roll, labeling them, and putting them in a container. \r

2. Clothing hanger: A tube can be placed onto a clothing hanger to hold pants and not leave a crease. \r
\r
3. Gift Wrapper: Use them to wrap small gifts. \r
\r
4. Protect Documents and Pictures: Save your important pictures and documents by rolling them up and placing them inside a cardboard tube. \r
\r
5. Knife sheath: A simple knife sheath can be made to safely transport knives. \r
\r
6: Plastic Bag Storage: They can be used to easily store comped plastic bags. \r

Just throw an infinity scarf over a simple jeans & T-shirt and it instantly makes the whole look much smarter and chic; wear it over a dress and it makes it look much classier.\r

And wont it be great if you can make infinity scarves yourself from your old T-shirts which are just lying waste.\r

After the great success during Ganja Time In Madrid, Swan Fyahbwoy burst into the reggae-dancehall scene in 2006, with a promo cd "Ni chance Ni Try", inclusive of 5 songs. The album, surprising for its contents close to the "street" culture and very far from the cliches of this genre, excited a great interest on the internet by word of mouth, reaching a record number of downloads and concerts in the main summer festivals.

After having gained success, in 2008 he decides to work on his first album exploring a new formula: the support by the fans, through the Undefined Artists platform. This way fans become the executive producers of the work and receive exclusively the album,in exchange of the money they invest. "Innadiflames" has now reached 400thousand downloads, giving the chance to the "fyahbwoy" to become one of the most popular Spanish dancehall artists, and this success lead him to a tour in Latin-America. At the moment he is working on his new album, always through the Undefined Artists platform, and he will present some of these tracks at Rototom 2011.

According to Wampanoag (wahm-puh-NO-ag) folklore these small, bipedal humanoid creatures stand up to 3 feet tall and exhibit human features … although they have grey skin, and enlarged ears, noses and fingers. In addition to occasionally glowing, theyre said to possess a vast array of unusual abilities … The can vanish and reappear at will … Create fire when they desires … employ magic when necessary … and can even transmogrify themselves into a bipedal porcupine. Pukwudgie were once friendly with humans, but apparently the relationship soured. Today, they known to kidnap people and attack victims with spears and knives. As you might expect, humans are sell advised to leave the creatures alone.\r

Skinwalkers\r
These creatures are found in many Native American legends … and the Navajo have some of the best documented lore concerning them. Skinwalkers have the supernatural ability to shapeshift into any creature they wish. They are often disguised as animals like wolves, eagles, or coyotes. But theyll assume the form of any creature that has the abilities it requires at that time. For example, if the skinwalker needs to travel quickly, it might assume the form of a crow. There are some beliefs that skinwalkers can steal the face of another person … or fuse themselves into the body of another, and read the mind of a human. It can also generate any animal noise it chooses, regardless of what form they currently hold. Not unlike vampires, skinwalkers need an invitation before they can enter an inhabited home … so they might mimic the voice of a loved one to lure you outside. And they might try to poison you by blowing corpse dust into your face … thats a powder ground from the bones of infants. Its advised you not upset skinwalkers, because they ively seek to cause humans harm. \r

2.Wendigo (wendy-go)\r
This cryptid has been reported along the Atlantic coast, from the US to Canada … and is said to prefer colder weather. In Algonquin folklore, the Wendigo can be perceived as either a cannibalistic monster or an evil spirit. In its spirit form, it will possess a human and transform them into an abomination. Or it can appear as a monster that displays human traits. In this version, theyre said to stand around 14 feet high, with a gaunt frame and ashy grey skin. One particular description I liked called it an enormous, animated skeleton that reeks of decay. Most accounts agree they have long tongues, sharp yellow fangs and glowing eyes. According to legend, Wendigos were originally humans that turned to cannibalism, or committed another egregiouslike murder … and that triggered their unholy transformation. \r

1.Sasquatch\r
The word ‘Sasquatch comes from the language of the Salish (sal-ish), people indigenous to coastal British Columbia. The word means ‘wild man … and native tribes have long related stories of ape-like animals roaming through North American forests. The Spokanes (spoh-KANs) of Washington state spoke of a race of hairy giants that would arrive at night to steal people and salmon. Witnesses have described them as having a pronounced brow ridge, standing up to 11 feet tall and covered in a coat of reddish brown fur. While theyre most often portrayed as ape-like creatures, the earliest reported sightings claimed they were more bear-like in appearance. Theres a pictograph of a Sasquatch that dates back around a thousand years located near Taft California at the Painted Rock Shelter? You can see it in detail in the picture taken by Kathy Moskowitz Strain. The painting itself is about 8.5 feet tall … and depicts a creature standing upright with its arms outstretched. The left arm has white outlines … while its right arm appears to be a rusty shade of red. Two similar forms are located next to the creature, which are believed to portray a mother and child. Local indigenous people referred to the being as “Hairy Man” Did you know that sightings of such cryptids have been reported on every continent except Antarctica.

Iran Air Boeing 747-100 (WORLDS LAST): Cockpit-landing, all cabins [AirClips full flight ]

Just a few months after this unique video was taken, the Boeing 747-100 retired from the worlds skies forever. In new this Iran Air unit was the last flying Boeing 747-100, a -100Bto be ex. At that time the crew told me that it was probably continuing to fly for another two years, but less than half a year later game was over. In the clip you can see that a Boeing 747-200 checklist was used and frequent questions were asked. The reason is, that the checklists are the same and thus there was no need to print an extra -100 one. You can see that the rear part of the passenger cabin was dark and empty on this flight. The reason is that that day this aircraft replaced the scheduled B747SP with the same (smaller) SP crew aboard. In order to make the smaller crew fit the bigger aircrafts needs, the rear cabin was closed.\r

You start the game with hundreds of loose parts and assemble both car and engine. Not only you need to maintain your car, but yourself as well. Sausages, beer and sleeping will do just fine.\r

If everything goes well, you have a working car which you can use for various 1990s Finnish countryside summer ivities. Basically doing stupid things under influence of alcohol. After you have gathered extra money from various random jobs, you can start to tune and upgrade the car with parts ordered via snail mail. You can turn the car into a obnoxious bass-boom disco machine.. or into a rally car to participate rally competitions. or just fix it into perfect fory condition. Of course car also needs to pass the inspection or you might get into trouble with police.\r

Not only you have access to one car, but also several other cars and vehicles which you can use. (Mostly useful to get groceries and for towing the project car from some ditch, again).\r

Warning, this game is not for fainted heart. Severe car fever is required to play this properly due to its autistic approach on car building.\r

Hey, whats up guys? So on this video, youre going to be finding out how I super-learn things. Basically, how you can regurgitate the information from anything like this.\r
\r
So people learn differently. Some people are good with listening, some people are good with just reading, so regurgitating fs from books, so if they are good in school, thats pretty much you, and some people; they are not really great at memory. So, what have I ually created.I shouldnt say created, but engineered, that works for me, is I combined all three.\r
\r
When you look at learning, you have got kinesthetic; so, touch. You feel a book, you create something, you are building something. You learn that way.\r
\r
Number two - you have got visual. So you are watching a teacher speak, you are watching a TED Talk, youre watching a workshop, and finally\r
\r
And finally, three - Auditory. So you are listening to a podcast, or you are listening to a teacher, and this is how your body assimilates and absorbs information. However if you want to super-learn, and really absorb the knowledge to regurgitate even faster, quicker, more efficiently, is you combine all three.\r
\r
So, this is what I do when I read a book. First of all, I dont read a book, I do a case study on the book. I highly recommend if you havent already read the book, How to Read a Book. Fantastic book, in f, Jim Rohn highly recommends it, and it was game changer for me, and just understanding that you do not read word for word, and in f, that you ually go through the book as a detective. Okay, I am not going to go through the whole gist of it, but to give you the 411, is you have a blank piece of paper, and you basically go through the beginning of the chapter, the end of the chapter, you look for detail words, such as because and therefore, and you really figure out what the author is trying to teach you, or the author is trying to tell you. So, I basically summarize a whole book on an 8 x 11 paper. When Im done with the book, I plug in the authors name into YouTube and usually the author has a TED Talk or has been featured on podcasts, and then Ill listen to it, and then usually I follow that summary I just had.\r

Third of all, is if you cant find a TED Talk. So, it its a TED Talk, you hit two birds with one stone. You are doing both auditory and youre doing visual. If you cant find visual, I highly, and I repeat, I highly recommend that you draw an image or a cartoon, something that can connect that with that book.\r
\r
So lets re-cap that.\r
Number 1: You do a case study on the book. You go through the first chapter, three pages, last three pages of the first chapter; second chapter first three pages, last three pages. You make a summary of the book.\r
Number 2: You plug in the authors name into YouTube. Hopefully there is a talk where you can visually see him or her and hear them, and then cross-reference what they said with your notes, because truthfully, most of these authors can summarize their whole book in an hour.\r
\r
Now, the final piece, which I havent mentioned yet. The final piece for really enhancing your learning capability, is teaching. This really cements the knowledge inside of your brain. As soon as you have done that process of the case study for the book, going through YouTube, podcasts, or TED Talk, I want you now to write a blog post about it. I want you to do a video about it such as this. In f, I am doing this video from the book, How To Read the Book. I want you to teach your friend, I want you to teach your family what you just learned. If you dont use it, youll lose it. Yes, its very true when it comes to the human body and the human mind. So, teach, become a teacher. At the end of the day, we are all teachers in this life.\r

So there you have it. That is how I super-learn. I do case studies on books, I plug the name into YouTube, I cross reference that from my summary, and then finally I do a video such as this or write a blog post about this.\r

Some people may argue s that feature steamy scenes are bad, but I dont agree because this One Night Stand Trailer ually looks interesting because of its story. So basically thistrailer is a bout a night of a one man and a girl who stand close to each other, thus the real deal title of thethat should be something like One Night Stand trailer without the last word. It also features a lot of talented ors and resses which some people really like and some people dislike, but I enjoyed this One Night Stand Trailer, so it does not really matter for me. I also found the scenery to be outstanding which proves they put a lot of effort into thisfrom this One Night Stand Trailer, so I hope you will support them and see it when its released.\r

1999 Burger King Pokemon Toy Collection & Review

1999 Burger King Pokemon Toy Collection & Review\r
Back in 1999 Burger King ran an ambitious campaign of including one of 57 different Pokemon as toys in their kids meals in celebration of the first Pokemon , Mewtwo Strikes Back.. Today, were going to take a closer look at the various toys.\r
\r
The Pokemon toys were split into different categories depending on their gimmick. The charers available in the Poke Beanbag form are Oddish, Poliwhirl, Meowth, Gyarados, Snorlax, Golbat, Butterfree, and Togepi who was the only Pokemon to receive a toy that isnt from the first generation of Pokemon.\r
\r
Three variations of a plush Pikachu were made and it was classified in its own category of talking. Each Pikachu variation said its name in a slightly different way when its stomach was squeezed. Unfortunately, mine no longer talk but I believe one said Pikachu and the other Pika-Pika-Pika. You can tell the difference in the variations by the letters on the tags. \r
\r
The next category of toys was my favorite. The Light ups. The charers available were Mew, Mewtwo, Gengar, Raichu, and Charmander. These toys have a switch on them that when turned on, lights up the toy. Its too bad these toys were designed so you cannot replace the batteries so mine no longer light up.\r
\r
The fourth category is Key Chains and there were lots of charers made in this style including Geodude, Hitmonlee, Sandshrew, Nidorino, Cubone, Vileplume, Sandslash, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Dragonite, Kangaskhan, Electabuzz, and Muk.\r
\r
The round Pokemon were converted into Rev Top toys that spin like tops. The charers in this style are Graveler, Golem, Koffing, Venonat, Tangela, Jigglypuff, Chansey, Voltorb, Clefairy, , Diglett, Magnemite, and Ditto.\r
\r
Many of the water type Pokemon received squirter toys that can spray a stream of water including: Poliwrath, Seadra, Psyduck, Poliwag, Kabuto, Tentacruel, Squirtle, Blastoise,and Shellder. Most of these toys are a soft vinyl but Blastoise and Shellder are hard plastic with a button.\r
\r
The final category of the toys is Launchers. The charers in this style are Nidoran, Arcanine, Slowpoke, Lapras, Tauros, Rhyhorn, Venusaur, Bulbasaur, and Rapidash. The launchers came in two styles with some Pokemon firing from a Pokeball and others from what looks like the cloning machine.\r
\r
All of the toys were packaged in opaque plastic so you couldnt see which Pokemon figure you received. The majority of the toys came with a regular Pokeball, but the size of the Pokeball varied. The ball splits in half and and has a clip. Instead of a Pokeball, Mew came with a Pink Orb. Mewtwo came with a tank.\r
\r
All of the toys also came with a card featuring one of the original 151 Pokemon. Burger King also had sheets of cards that you could select instead of a toy. Each sheet comes with 9 cards and there were 20 different sheets. The cards from the sheets are a lower quality than those included in the toy packaging and if you separate the cards, youre left with the rough perforated edge.\r
