FULL RECIPE FOR HOMEMADE FUNFETTI CUPCAKES\r

Ingredients\r
\r
Homemade Funfetti Cake\r
* 1 Cup and 2/3 all - purpose flour (measured the correct way) (210 grams)\r
* 1/2 tsp baking powder\r
* 1/4 tsp baking soda\r
* 1/2 tsp salt\r
* 3/4 Cup granulated sugar (150 grams)\r
* 1/4 Cup light brown sugar (50 grams)\r
* 1/2 Cup unsalted butter, melted (1 stick or 115 grams)\r
* 1 Large egg\r
* 1/4 Cup yogurt plain or sour cream (60 grams)\r
* 3/4 Cup Buttermilk\r
* 1 Tbsp vanilla extr (15 ml)\r
* 2/3 Cup sprinkles \r
\r
Vanilla Buttercream\r
* 1 Cup salted butter, softened to room temperature (2 sticks or 230 grams)\r
* 3 Cups powdered (confectioners) sugar (360 - 480 grams)\r
* 2 tsp and 1/2 vanilla extr\r
* green food dye (optional. you can use any color)\r

Directions\r
Preheat oven to 350F degrees. Spray a 9-inch springform or baking pan (round or square) with nonstick spray. Set aside.\r
In a medium bowl, mix together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. In a large microwave-safe bowl, melt butter in the microwave. Whisk in the sugars vigorously getting out any brown sugar lumps - mixture will be gritty. Whisk in egg, yogurt, milk, and vanilla extr until combined. Slowly mix in dry ingredients until no lumps remain. Batter will be thick. Slowly stir in sprinkles, but do not overmix because the sprinkles will bleed their color.\r
Spoon batter into prepared cupcake pa, fill 3/4 of the way.\r
Bake for 25-30 minute or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool.\r
To make the frosting, beat softened butter on medium speed with an electric or stand mixer. Beat for 3 minutes until smooth and creamy. Add sifted powdered sugar spoon by spoon until incorporated. This takes around 5 minutes. Add in cream,food coloring and vanilla extr with the mixer running.\r

Frost cooled cupcake as desired and top with sprinkles. There may be leftover frosting depending how much you wish to use. Cover cupcake and store at room temperature for up to 3 days.

200 grams heavy / whipping cream\r
microwave for 30 seconds and stir until melted. You may find that you need to return the mixture to the microwave for an additional 10 seconds, then stir until all is combined and melted. \r

Nuts, especially almonds, are an excellent source of vitamin E, an antioxidant that many runners fall short on because there are so few good food sources of it. Studies have shown that eating nuts several times per week lowers circulating cholesterol levels, particularly the artery-clogging LDL type, decreasing your risk for heart disease. Zoku Ice Cream Maker Review

Hi Guys, today Im reviewing the Zoku Ice Cream Maker. Link to Zoku Ice Cream Maker: It makes a 5 ounce serving of ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt or sorbet in 10 minutes. This is a single serve unit. The Zoku comes with the stainless steel inner bowl, outer sleeve, spoon and instruction manual with some recipes. It is BPA free. \r
The unit is the size of a cereal bowl. It comes in lots of fun colors, this pretty blue, red, lime green, orange, purple and light blue. To make ice cream, take the inner bowl out of the outer sleeve. Put this in the freezer upright for 12 hours. While its freezing, make your ice cream mixture. Any mixture you use has to be chilled and at 40 degrees fahrenheit or less. So the longer you chill the mixture, the better. Im making vanilla ice cream and am using the recipe from the manual. The recipes in the manual make 6 5 oz servings. I just cut the recipe to two servings so I have 10 ounces here. This is ½ cup milk, ½ cup cream, ⅓ cup sugar, pinch of salt and 1.5 tsps vanilla extr. Make sure to stir the ingredients for about 3 minutes because the sugar and salt have to be completely dissolved. Its an extremely simple recipe. I could just drink this, its sö good. \r
\r
My ice cream mixture is chilled. The bowl has been in the freezer for over 12 hours. Put the bowl in the outer sleeve. There is no locking or snapping, the bowl just sits in the sleeve. Use 5 ounces of ice cream mixture. I like to put my mixture in a measuring cup in the fridge, its so much easier to know how much to pour, theres no guessing. Ill start my timer. Immediately after you pour the mixture, start scraping the bowl with the included spoon. Scrape the mixture into the middle, stir and scrape continuously. If you wait too long to stir, the ice cream could really harden up and be harder to scrape. Clean the spoon on the edge of the bowl. You can see the ice cream is starting to get thick. This is the time to add any toppings you might want to - chocolate chips or crumbled up cookies, candy, berries, whatever you like. The ice cream is formed in 5 minutes. If you want very hard ice cream, put the bowl in the fridge for 10 - 20 minutes. The outer sleeve cannot go in the freezer.\r

Wash the ice cream maker in warm, soapy water. This is not dishwasher safe. If the outer sleeve gets stuck, rinse the whole thing under warm water and twist the sleeve off. You can separate the unit like this to clean and it just snaps back together. Dont scrub or use any utensils other than the included spoon. Dry the unit and store it in your freezer so its ready to pull out when you want ice cream. \r

The Zoku is a good single serve ice cream maker. Its great for people who want to make healthier frozen desserts and also those who believe in portion control. If you start scooping store bought ice cream, itll definitely turn out to be more than 5 ounces. As with any ice cream maker, its nice to be able to control the ingredients that go into your dessert. I think this will also be fun for kids. Of course youll have to get them each their own unit but itll keep them busy for a few minutes. \r

We always chose our gender based off of what will best serve our expansion and intentions for our specific life. But often, part of the experience we want to have for the benefit of our expansion is the experience of oneness within a physical form. And the way many of us accomplish this is to incarnate into two beings (quite often a male and female aspect) and come into life separate from them, in order to experience the contrast of loneliness and separation. This contrast gives rise to the desire for unity and coming home, which when we line up with it vibrationally, is satisfied through meeting that other male or other female aspect of ourselves and pair bonding with them. These pair bonding, monogamous relationships are often agreed upon and planned before a birth. And often, when we meet that person, we can feel fate in the relationship because of it. \r

Indian Almond (Catappa) Leaves in an Aquarium - Shrimp Saturday

Its shrimp Saturday which means another information packed video dedicated to freshwater shrimp breeding in aquariums. Todays topic is Indian Almond Leaves, also known as Catappa Leaves. Im running a special on the Imdian Almond Leaves this week. \r

So, onto Indian Almond Leaves in the aquarium, mainly in freshwater shrimp tanks. I want to go over some quick points and cover them all in the video: origins of Indian almond leaves, their benefits and uses in the aquarium, how many to use for freshwater shrimp and how long the Indian Almond Leaves last. \r
\r
First off, Indians Almond Leaves originated in South East Asia. They were originally used by betta breeders to condition them to spawn. They also used them in their hospital tanks to get the fish back to health. \r
\r
Now, what are Indian Almond Leaves used for. The uses are listed in order of importance in my opinion. \r
\r
The first most important use for Indian Almond Leaves in the aquarium is for trace minerals and other beneficial compounds. In nature, shrimp originate from slow moving river in forests. It is safe to say that leaves do fall into the the river and will decay over time. These leaves release tons of minerals and compounds into the river. In an aquarium, we use over filtered drinking water. Many trace elements are missing that shrimp need to thrive. By adding Indian Almond Leaves to the aquarium, the shrimp start to receive these necessary mineral and it opens the door to really allow them to thrive. \r

The second most important use for Indian Almond Leaves is for a natural food source for shrimp. Infusoria (micro-organisms) breakdown the leaf in the aquarium. This process usually takes a month to accomplish. The infusoria are a natural food source for shrimp and shrimplets (baby shrimp). Therefore, Indian Almond Leaves are essential to creating a stable environment for freshwater shrimp to breed. \r
\r
Indian Almond Leaves are pumped full of anti-fungal properties to prevent die off in nature. These properties and compounds are believe to be released into the water column of an aquarium as the leaf breaks down. With that being said, many hobbyists (like myself) believe that Indian Almond Leaves help fight off berial and fungal infections in shrimp. \r
\r
These three reason above are enough reason to begin using Indian Almond Leaves in your aquarium for freshwater shrimp. The leaves provide trace minerals and compound, a natural food source and provide anti-fungal an anti-berial properties to an aquarium. Although, this is not all they do: \r
\r
Indian Almond leaves will also help to lower the ph of an aquarium. How much they lower ph depends on the level of kh (carbonate hardness) in the aquarium. The higher the kh, the harder it will be to lower the ph meaning itll take more leaves. \r
\r
The only downfall to Indian Almond leaves is that they do change the color of the water to a tea color. Hobbyists that like clear water will not like this. Also, some find the leaves sore on the eye and do not prefer to use them for this reason. \r
\r
The dosage of Indian Almond Leaves for shrimp tanks is simple, one leaf (6 to 8 in) per 20 gallons of water. Add a new leaf as one begins to decay. This will usually occur after 2-4 weeks. For larger tanks with higher loads of shrimp, add more leaves as necessary. \r
\r
