MOST AMAZING CAKES DECORATING COMPILATION - Awesome Artistic Skills - Most Satisfying Video 2017\r
    \r
Cakes are commonly decorated for special occasions, parties, events or to accompany a special meal. Some people enjoy decorating cakes as a creative outlet and way to make a meal or dessert feel like something out of the ordinary.\r
    \r
Cake designs vary from simple to complex. Some cakes are single layer cakes and others are multi-tiered cakes. Shaped cakes, also called cut up cakes or cut out cakes, are often easy to create and make a celebration unique. Complex, three-dimensional cakes are popular by many bakers. Some television shows show bakers competing to create complex, large, multi-tiered three dimensional cakes.\r
    \r
Decorations can vary from simple icing to amazing recreations of objects, like castles. Often, items from your local supermarket can be used to creatively decorate cakes. Like any skill, some people are better at it than others and can turn their ability into a way to make some extra money or even to earn a living.\r
    \r
While some decorations, like candles, are meant to be removed before eating, most cake decoration is edible. Frosting can be used to decorate. Another related hobby is making crystallized flowers.\r

  • Triple Butterscotch Cake Recipe

This is an old-fashioned butterscotch cake recipe. Every layer of the cake is infused with butterscotch flavor from the cake to the filling to the frosting to the crushed butterscotch candies for a beautiful sparkling cake. \r
    \r
    Butterscotch Sauce:\r
Note - You can buy a quality sauce from the supermarket, just warm it for 15 seconds in the microwave before using in the recipe.\r
    \r
    1/4 cup unsalted butter\r
1/2 cup packed light or dark brown sugar\r
    1/2 cup heavy cream\r
    1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extr\r
    \r
Place all ingredients into a sauce pan. Whisk until mixed. Place on medium heat until it boils. Reduce heat to low and cook for 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. Sauce will be thin. This will be used in the cake and the frosting.\r
    \r
    Butterscotch Cake:\r
    \r
    15 ounce yellow cake mix\r
1/2 cup sour cream or vanilla yogurt\r
2-3.25 ounce packages Cook & Serve Butterscotch pudding\r
    1 cup sugar\r
    1 cup cake flour\r
1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled\r
    3 eggs\r
1 1/3 cup cream soda, regular not diet soda\r
    1 teaspoon vanilla\r
    \r
Preheat oven to 325F. Spray 3 8-inch pans, 2 9-inch pans, or a 10-inch square pan with baking spray. Place all ingredients in a mixer and blend on medium until smooth. Pour into prepared pans. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until done. After unmolding the cake, level it and drizzle sauce on the cake layers to infuse the cake with extra flavoring. \r
    \r
    Butterscotch Frosting\r
    \r
    1/2 cup butter, softened\r
Remainder of butterscotch sauce, about 1/3 cup\r
    1 teaspoon vanilla\r
    16 oz. confectioners sugar\r
    3-4 tablespoons milk\r
    \r
Cream together butter, butterscotch sauce, and vanilla until smooth. Alternate adding milk and sugar on low until combined.\r
Turn up the speed and cream until fluffy.\r
    \r
    Drip Down Butterscotch Icing: (optional)\r
    \r
    2 oz. butterscotch chips\r
    1-2 tablespoons cream soda\r
    1/4 to 1/3 cup confectioners sugar\r
    2 teaspoons butter\r
    \r
Place butterscotch chips and butter in a bowl. Microwave until melted 30-40 seconds. Add cream soda and blend well. Stir in sugar.\r
    \r
    Assembly:\r
    \r
Place frosting in between the layers. Stack one layer on top another. If you want to have a butterscotch sauce on top, then place topping on the top layer. Coarse sugar can be sprinkled on top of the sauce. If you want frosting on top, then frost the top of the cake. Finally, frost the sides of the cake.\r
    \r
Optionally, crush 16-20 pieces of butterscotch hard candy. Place unwrapped candy in a plastic bag and close the bag. Place a second plastic bag around it. Pound the candy until they break into small pieces. Finally place the crushed candies in the frosting. \r
    \r
Drip the butterscotch icing on the sides.\r

    RECIPE \r
    \r
    Sponge cake\r
    \r
    Cake flour 55g\r
    Milk 20g\r
    Granulated sugar 65g\r
    2eggs\r
    Vanilla extr\r
    \r
    Syrup\r
    Granulated sugar 30g\r
    Water 60g\r
    A bit of kirsch \r
    \r
    Whipped cream \r
    Whipping cream 200g\r
    Granulated sugar 20g\r
    \r
    Sponge cake\r
Add beaten eggs and granulated sugar in a bowl and mix over hot water with hand mixer at high speed for a few minutes. Then put out of the hot water and continue mixing with your hand mixer until white and fluffy.\r
Then sift in the cake flour and mix gently with a spatula. Add vanilla extr to milk and a bit of the batter. Then add it to the rest of the batter and mix until combined. Put the batter in a cake pan. Put in preheated oven for about 30 minutes at 180 degrees. Baking time change depending in your oven.\r
    \r
When its baked let it cool down on a rack. Then remove the paper and slice it in two.\r
As I want this sponge cake to fit in my cup Im going to cut 4 small circles that are the same size as the bottom of my cup and 2 bigger circles that will come on top of my cups (Im creating two cups so there will be 3 layers of sponge cake)\r
You can cut the rest of the sponge ale into small squares that you can use for another recipe.\r
    \r
    Whipped cream\r
    \r
Add the granulated sugar to the whipping cream and mix until you get the consistency that you want. For this recipe I went for a thick consistency.\r
    \r
    Syrup\r
    \r
Boil the water and add the granulated sugar. When the sugar is dissolved, stop the heat and let it cool down. Before putting on your sponge cake you can add some kirsch.\r
    \r
In your cup, place a sponge cake circle at the bottom. Brush the syrup on the sponge cake. Add whipped cream and some chopped strawberries. Then repeat the same steps (sponge cake, syrup, whipped cream, strawberries etc.)\r
Cover the top with a layer of sponge cake, add whipped cream and cover it with the Hello Kitty chocolate. Cut the top of a strawberry and put it in the middle of the ribbon. Put on top the ribbon in chocolate. Put in the fridge for a few hours and then its ready to eat!

  • Nutella Mille Crêpe Cake (How to Make Crepes) ミルクレープ (クレープの作り方) - OCHIKERON - CREATE EAT HAPPY

    ♥My COOKBOOK available WORLDWIDE レシピ本もよろしくね♥\r
    \r
    \r
How to Order My Cookbook from Amazon Japan:\r
    \r
    \r
Mille crêpe is a cake made with many layers of crêpe (thin pancake). Mille means a thousand in French. Although it is written in French, it is originated in Japan (I found this info on the Net). And of course, it is a very popular cake in Japan!!!\r
    \r
I was so lazy that I made only 8 crepes and cut into half to make a half-round cake. hehe You will see how I did that in the end of the video ;)\r
    \r
I used nutella and whipped cream for the fillings.\r
    They were absolutely delicious :D\r
    \r
Of course you dont have to make Mille Crepe. You can just wrap your favorite filling in a sheet of crepe and enjoy!\r
    \r
    ---------------------------------\r
    Nutella Mille Crêpe Cake\r
    \r
    Difficulty: Easier than you think!\r
    Time: 20min\r
Number of servings: half round cake\r
    \r
    Necessary Equipment:\r
    26cm (10.2inch) frying pan\r
    \r
    Ingredients:\r
    ((8 crêpes))\r
    2 eggs *room temperature\r
    100g (3.5oz.) cake flour\r
    2 tbsp. granulated sugar\r
    2 tbsp. melted butter\r
    250ml milk *room temperature\r
    a few drops vanilla extr\r
    ((fillings))\r
    nutella (chocolate hazelnut spread)\r
200ml fresh cream (heavy whipping cream)\r
    1 tbsp. granulated sugar\r
    \r
    Directions:\r
    ((8 crêpes))\r
    1. Sift the flour in a bowl. Add sugar and egg, and mix well with a wire whisk.\r
    2. Add half the milk and melted butter, and mix well. Strain the batter to remove lumps. Then add the rest of the milk and a few drops vanilla extr, and mix until smooth.\r
    3. Cover with a plastic wrap and leave the batter to stand at room temperature for 30 minutes.\r
    4. Use a nonstick pan, or wipe the surface of the frying pan with a thin layer of cooking oil using a paper towel. Heat the pan on medium, pour a ladleful of the crepe batter into the pan, slowly move the pan in a circular motion to spread the batter evenly.\r
    5. Cook the crepe until the edges begin to dry, then flip the crepe over and cook the other side for about 10 seconds.\r
    6. Leave them to cool completely.\r
    ((fillings))\r
    1. Combine fresh cream and granulated sugar in a dry, clean bowl. Float the bottom of the bowl in ice water, whisk the cream until it forms a soft peak.\r
    2. Place one layer of crepe on a plate. Spread the cream. Place another layer of crepe, and spread nutella. Repeat until you have used all the crepes.\r
    3. Rest the cake in the fridge for 1 hour and cut into half. Spread nutella (use it as a glue) and place the other half on top to make a half round mille crepe cake.\r
    4. Then again rest in the fridge until chilled and nutella hardens up. In this way, you can easily cut the cake.\r

This attrive cake very easy to make. Will please kids and grown ups. Great for birthdays, kids parties and celebrations.\r
    Ingredients:\r
    1. 375g (13.23 oz) unsalted butter, softened\r
    2. 3 teaspoons vanilla extr\r
    3. 2 1/2 cups caster sugar\r
    4. 4 eggs\r
    5. 4 1/2 cups self-raising flour\r
    6. 1 1/2 cups milk\r
    7. Violet, sky blue, leaf green, pink and lemon yellow gel food colorings\r
    8. 1 1/2 tablespoons banana-flavored Nesquik powder or 2 teaspoons banana essence (optional)\r
    9. 2 teaspoons strawberry essence (optional)\r
    10. Red, orange, yellow, green and blue M & Ms\r
    11. Purple and pink Smarties, to decorate\r
    To make buttercream icing:\r
    1. 500g (17.64 oz) unsalted butter, softened\r
    2. 6 cups powdered icing mixture\r
    3. 2 teaspoons clear vanilla extr\r
    Method:\r
    1. Preheat oven to 180C (350F). Grease two 7 cm (2 3/4 inch)-deep, 20 cm (8 inch)-round cake pans (I use two 20cm (8 inch) spring baking pans). Line base and sides with 2 layers of baking paper.\r
    2. Using an electric mixer, beat butter, vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating until combined after each addition. Add flour. Beat on low speed, gradually adding milk, until just combined. Divide mixture between 5 bowls. Using food coloring, tint 1 portion purple and remaining portions blue, green, pink and yellow. Add banana-flavored powder or banana essence to yellow mixture(optional) and strawberry essence to pink mixture (optional), stirring to combine. Note: Strawberry and banana flavoring to approximate bubblegum. \r
    3. Using half of each colored mixture, drop tablespoons of the mixtures, alternating colors, into 1 prepared cake pan. Repeat with remaining mixtures and second cake pan. Run a butter knife back and forth through both mixtures to create a slight marbled effect (dont over-marble). Bake cakes together for 1 hour or until a skewer inserted into the center of each cake comes out clean (cover cakes loosely with foil if over-browning). Stand in pans for 10 minutes. Turn, top-side up, onto a wire rack to cool completely.\r
    4. To make buttercream icing: Using electric mixer, beat butter for 5 minutes or until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in icing sugar until pale and fluffy. Add vanilla. Beat until combined. \r
    5. Using a serrated knife, level tops of cakes if necessary. Place 1 cake on serving plate. Spread 3/4 cup of icing over top of cake. Top with second cake. Spread remaining icing over top and side of cake. Decorate top with M & Ms and Smarties. Use remaining colors for the row along the base. Makes about 24 serves.

This Australia Day I decided to LIVE FILM a 4 layer cake and EVERYTHING WENT WRONG! But I was shooting live in front of 150K Facebook watchers and I had no choice but to soldier on and take the advice I always give you guys - Theres no such thing as a total cake disaster! \r
    \r
I debated whether or not to put this video up here on YouTube as its certainly not my best work, but I decided its kind of nice to see things in their real life, less than perfect way. The people you see on cooking shows, on youtube videos and in the s have so many layers of editing to make them look great at what they do and I thought it might be refreshing to see what happens when things dont go according to plan.\r
    \r
Let me know what you think of this LIVE style of video & if youd like to see more less-edited stuff. Also, I do about 20 lives a month on Facebook so you can follow me there for more: \r

MERINGUE COOKIES RECIPE (12 large Hydrangea Cookies)\r
    4 room temperature egg whites\r
    1cup granulated sugar\r
1tsp vanilla extr, use only alcohol based extrs\r
    pinch of salt\r
Pink, Purple, Royal Blue Food Coloring( I used Americolor Gel Color)\r
    \r
Prepare template, draw circles onto the parchment paper( use a glass, cookie cutter to make even circles), flip the paper ink/graphite down, secure it onto the back of the baking sheet with some Crisco, set aside.\r
    \r
In the clean bowl of your mixer whisk together egg whites, sugar and a pinch of salt. Put the bowl over the pot of simmering water. Stir with the whisk until sugar is dissolved, about 3-5 minutes.\r
Transfer bowl onto the mixer and beat on high, add vanilla extr, beat until glossy and thick meringue has formed. Meringue should hold the peak.\r
Divide into 3 portions, color each portion with different color, pink, purple and blue. Fold the color into the meringue.\r
    Fill the piping bags. \r
Fit the large piping bag with the Wilton 2D piping tip. Place all 3 piping bags filled with meringues into one large piping bag fitter with the piping tip. Start piping. As soon as you see all 3 colored meringues coming out, start piping onto the parchment, using the template as a guide, pipe circles first and then fill the centers. \r
Bake at 175F, for 2 hours, then turn of the oven and leave the cookie in the oven, until oven cools down, best to leave them overnight. Next day, peel the cookies from the parchment, store in the airtight container, layered between pieces of wax paper.\r
    Enjoy.\r
