Fundéu BBVA: "mesa de dulces", mejor que "candy bar"

Madrid, 23 ago (EFE).- Las expresiones españolas "mesa de dulces" o "mesa dulce" son alternativas válidas y preferibles al anglicismo "candy bar", empleado para referirse a las mesas personalizadas y decoradas en las que se ofrecen todo tipo de golosinas, caramelos y dulces.
La Fundación del Español Urgente, promovida por la Agencia EFE y BBVA, advierte que en la prensa no es raro encontrar la forma inglesa en frases como "Las candy bar, una nueva moda que se extiende a todo tipo de celebraciones", "Actualmente los novios prefieren cambiar el momento de la tarta y sustituirlo por un candy bar" o "Cómo hacer un candy bar para una boda, cumpleaños o primera comunión".
La denominación inglesa "candy bar" significa literalmente, como recoge el diccionario de Cambridge, ‘golosina en barra’ o ‘chocolatina’, pero se utiliza para referirse a una mesa o barra de decoración, especialmente vistosa y frecuentemente personalizada, que se monta en distintos tipos de eventos para ofrecer toda clase de golosinas, caramelos y dulces a los asistentes.
En español, resulta preferible utilizar las expresiones "mesa de dulces" o "mesa dulce", que tienen ya bastante uso. Otras alternativas, como "mesa de golosinas", "barra de dulces", "barra dulce", etc., también son adecuadas.
Por este motivo, en los ejemplos anteriores habría sido preferible optar por "Las mesas de dulces, una nueva moda que se extiende a todo tipo de celebraciones", "Actualmente los novios prefieren cambiar el momento de la tarta y sustituirlo por una mesa de dulces" y "Cómo hacer una mesa dulce para una boda, cumpleaños o primera comunión".
La Fundéu BBVA (www.fundeu.es), que trabaja asesorada por la Real Academia Española y cuyo principal objetivo es el buen uso del español en los medios de comunicación, cuenta con la colaboración, además, del Instituto Cervantes, la Fundación San Millán, Accenture y Prodigioso Volcán.

Lo primero que tenemos que tener en cuenta es lo que queremos, pues hoy en día podemos encontrar una gran variedad de microondas, de distintos tipos, microondas pequeños, blancos, integrables., que harán que haya uno casi a la medida de nuestras necesidades, así que es fundamental saber donde lo queremos colocar, que tipo de uso queremos hacer de él, que consumo energético tiene o cual es nuestro presupuesto a la hora de comprarlo, así que tenemos que preguntarnos lo siguiente:

¿Dónde quiero colocar mi microondas?

Esta pregunta es la primera que debemos contestarnos porque dependiendo de la respuesta podemos distinguir entre:
Microondas integrables, que son aquellos que deberemos comprar si nuestra idea es la de integrarlos completamente en el mobiliario de la cocina, para ello tenemos que tener en cuenta que necesitan de una mínima instalación ya que vienen con un marco para que el acabado sea perfecto y totalmente profesional.

Microondas de libre instalación, que son aquellos que se colocan independientemente, es decir, donde quieras o puedas, tan solo necesitarás un enchufe cerca, esa es toda su instalación.

¿Para que voy a utilizar el microondas?

Dependiendo de cual vaya a ser el uso principal que demos a nuestro microondas tendremos que fijarnos en unas características u otras, empezando por:

Capacidad del microondas, existen microondas grandes y microondas pequeños, que se miden en litros, una cifra que debe venir dada por el fabricante y que en gran parte depende del tamaño del plato interior y que define el tamaño de lo que podemos meter en él, es por lo tanto un dato a tener en cuenta relacionándolo con el número de miembros que tenga tu familia, así, a mayor número de miembros que tenga la familia convendría un mayor valor en litros de capacidad del aparato.

La potencia del microondas, que muchas veces va relacionado con la capacidad de ser algo más que un simple calentador o descongelador.
