Death toll in China bus fire rises to 17

2 grave sites found in liberated Ukrainian city of Lyman, official says
Two grave sites have been found in the eastern Ukrainian city of Lyman, according to an online post Thursday from Pavlo Kyrylenko, governor of the Donetsk region. Lyman was liberated from Russian control last week. According to a post by Kyrylenko on the social platform Telegram, one site contained about 200 individual graves, and authorities believe they are all civilians. The other was a mass grave which may contain the bodies of both Ukrainian military members and civilians. The exact number of bodies in both grave sites is unknown, Kyrylenko said. On Oct. 1, Russia withdrew its troops from Lyman after the city was surrounded by Ukrainian forces, who have been in the midst of a successful counteroffensive to take back Ukrainian territory. At least 24 killed in bus accident in Peru
"They couldn't remove some of the dead because they were crushed by the bus. There are a lot. There are a lot of dead people, about 24 or 25 of them, pretty many. I am not absolutely certain, but the accident occurred around 6 a.m." - witness
At least 24 people died and another 29 were injured on Saturday (April 16) when a bus went off a highway in Peru's central Andes.
The accident occurred in the early morning near the city of Pasco in central Peru. The bus belonged to the Estrella Polar transportation company.
"They couldn't remove some of the dead because they were crushed by the bus. There are a lot. There are a lot of dead people, about 24 or 25 of them, pretty many. I am not absolutely certain, but the accident occurred around 6 a.m," an area witness said.

Russia's monument to the enema
An unusual monument to that notorious medical procedure - the enema - has been erected in a resort town in southern Russia.
The one and a half metre-high sculpture to the enema is made of bronze, weighs 400 kilogrammes and cost one million roubles.
While it is a procedure many people would rather not talk about, the southern Russian city of Zheleznovodsk is celebrating it.
