How to start Female Betta fish sorority or community tank. Everyone has different ways and views. Im sharing how I did it and what worked for me. Recommended minimum tank size would be 20 gallon long with a heater and filter. Be sure to cycle the tank before adding your fish. The tank needs to be heavily planted with places to hide. Choose your female bettas carefully. Adding a group of at least 5 females is preferable. Be sure to acclimate them before adding them into the tank. I had given my females fresh clean water. I did not add the store water to my tank. If your water is store water do not add this to your tank. Once theyre in the tank watch them closely for several days. Aggression can sometimes not show for several hours to several days. I did not have any issues with aggression. My girls all get along very well. \r

** Female Bettas do not always get along, there are never any guarantees with Betta fish. If you choose to put females together you need to be sure you have the resources and the space to separate them if necessary.\r

Its shrimp Saturday which means another information packed video dedicated to freshwater shrimp breeding in aquariums. Todays topic is Indian Almond Leaves, also known as Catappa Leaves. Im running a special on the Imdian Almond Leaves this week. \r

So, onto Indian Almond Leaves in the aquarium, mainly in freshwater shrimp tanks. I want to go over some quick points and cover them all in the video: origins of Indian almond leaves, their benefits and uses in the aquarium, how many to use for freshwater shrimp and how long the Indian Almond Leaves last. \r
\r
First off, Indians Almond Leaves originated in South East Asia. They were originally used by betta breeders to condition them to spawn. They also used them in their hospital tanks to get the fish back to health. \r
\r
Now, what are Indian Almond Leaves used for. The uses are listed in order of importance in my opinion. \r
\r
The first most important use for Indian Almond Leaves in the aquarium is for trace minerals and other beneficial compounds. In nature, shrimp originate from slow moving river in forests. It is safe to say that leaves do fall into the the river and will decay over time. These leaves release tons of minerals and compounds into the river. In an aquarium, we use over filtered drinking water. Many trace elements are missing that shrimp need to thrive. By adding Indian Almond Leaves to the aquarium, the shrimp start to receive these necessary mineral and it opens the door to really allow them to thrive. \r
\r
The second most important use for Indian Almond Leaves is for a natural food source for shrimp. Infusoria (micro-organisms) breakdown the leaf in the aquarium. This process usually takes a month to accomplish. The infusoria are a natural food source for shrimp and shrimplets (baby shrimp). Therefore, Indian Almond Leaves are essential to creating a stable environment for freshwater shrimp to breed. \r
\r
Indian Almond Leaves are pumped full of anti-fungal properties to prevent die off in nature. These properties and compounds are believe to be released into the water column of an aquarium as the leaf breaks down. With that being said, many hobbyists (like myself) believe that Indian Almond Leaves help fight off berial and fungal infections in shrimp. \r
\r
These three reason above are enough reason to begin using Indian Almond Leaves in your aquarium for freshwater shrimp. The leaves provide trace minerals and compound, a natural food source and provide anti-fungal an anti-berial properties to an aquarium. Although, this is not all they do: \r
\r
Indian Almond leaves will also help to lower the ph of an aquarium. How much they lower ph depends on the level of kh (carbonate hardness) in the aquarium. The higher the kh, the harder it will be to lower the ph meaning itll take more leaves. \r
\r
The only downfall to Indian Almond leaves is that they do change the color of the water to a tea color. Hobbyists that like clear water will not like this. Also, some find the leaves sore on the eye and do not prefer to use them for this reason. \r
\r
The dosage of Indian Almond Leaves for shrimp tanks is simple, one leaf (6 to 8 in) per 20 gallons of water. Add a new leaf as one begins to decay. This will usually occur after 2-4 weeks. For larger tanks with higher loads of shrimp, add more leaves as necessary. \r
\r

Also, it might be a bit easier if you are working on a warm engine, so let the engine run and get hot, and then let it sit for 15 minutes before you work on it. This will help the grease loosen up and make your life a bit easier. Whatever you do, do not start cleaning your engine while it is still running. If your cars intake sucks in a bit of water, you WILL 100% kill your engine. \r

I know there are going to people that will comment and say that the engine bay isnt supposed to get wet, youre an idiot, youre going to kill your engine. Well think of this, what do you think happens to the engine bay when it rains? Do you think it stays dry? Because the bottom side of the engine where the oil pan is, isnt sealed, the engine bay will get wet all of the time. Engineers design engine bays, including all of the electrical components, to be water restistant, including all connections, so it is perfectly safe to do this to your car. \r

I will also show you what it may mean about your general health and what you can do about it\r
Lets get straight into it\r
No 1. Sudden Hair loss on the feet and toes\r
What this might mean is you have Serious circulation problems\r
You may think not having hair on your toes is a good thing especially during sandal season, but having hair on your toes is ually a good thing. \r
Get it checked out \r
Sudden baldness can be a sign that your feet arent getting enough blood flow to sustain hair growth. Expect your doctor to check for a pulse in your feet, which is an indication that your heart may not be able to pump enough blood to your feet.\r
2. You feel Frequent foot cramping\r
What this may mean is your suffering from either Dehydration or nutritional deficiencies\r
Randomly occurring cramps are extremely common in the feet so dont get too worried. They can be as serious as circulation and nerve issues, or as harmless as a nutritional deficiency.\r
If youre exercising, be sure to drink plenty of water, since dehydration often leads to muscle cramping. You might also try upping your intake of potassium, magnesium, and calcium (with your doctors go-ahead, of course), since their deficiencies make cramps more common. \r
Or you may like to try For relief, soaking your feet in a warm foot bath and stretching your toes toward your nose, not pointing down.\r
If the cramps dont let up, see your doctor who can test for circulation issues or nerve damage.\r
3. A sore that wont heal\r
What this may mean – well its probably a sore thats taking time to heal but it could also mean Diabetes or skin cancer\r
Stubborn sores are red flags for diabetes. \r
Uncontrolled glucose levels in the blood can lead to nerve damage all the way down to your feet, which means any cuts, sores, or scrapes can come and go without you ever feeling it. If infection sets in you could be in trouble.\r
A non-healing wound can also be a sign of skin cancer. Melanoma can pop up anywhere on your body—even in between your toes—so be sure to include your feet in your regular skin checks. (Brush up on your mole-detecting skills here.)\r

What this may mean: Hypothyroidism\r
Hypothyroidism is the most common cause of feet that just cant get warm. And if youre over 40, you could be living with a sluggish thyroid without even knowing it. \r
Unfortunately, cold feet are the least of your problems—hypothyroidism can also cause hair loss, fatigue, unexplained weight gain, and depression. Get your feet feeling toasty again by heading to your doctor for a simple blood test, and youll start warming up shortly after starting the daily medication.\r

What it might mean: Plantar fasciitis\r
You cant mistake it—that sharp pain in the bottom of the heel when you get out of bed or stand up from a chair. Its a strain of the ligament that supports the arch of the foot.\r
whether you did it by wearing too-tight shoes, walking in flip-flops, or wearing worn-out workout trainers, the longer you let it go, the longer it takes to heal. \r
Your podiatrist will probably tell you to ease up on walking at first, rethink your footwear, and adopt a good stretching routine.\r
8. Flaky, itchy, or peeling skin\r
What this may mean: a Fungal infection\r
Even if youre never donned an athletic jersey in your life, you could still be walking around with athletes foot—which is basically a fungal infection. \r

1999 Burger King Pokemon Toy Collection & Review\r
Back in 1999 Burger King ran an ambitious campaign of including one of 57 different Pokemon as toys in their kids meals in celebration of the first Pokemon , Mewtwo Strikes Back.. Today, were going to take a closer look at the various toys.\r
\r
The Pokemon toys were split into different categories depending on their gimmick. The charers available in the Poke Beanbag form are Oddish, Poliwhirl, Meowth, Gyarados, Snorlax, Golbat, Butterfree, and Togepi who was the only Pokemon to receive a toy that isnt from the first generation of Pokemon.\r
\r
Three variations of a plush Pikachu were made and it was classified in its own category of talking. Each Pikachu variation said its name in a slightly different way when its stomach was squeezed. Unfortunately, mine no longer talk but I believe one said Pikachu and the other Pika-Pika-Pika. You can tell the difference in the variations by the letters on the tags. \r
\r
The next category of toys was my favorite. The Light ups. The charers available were Mew, Mewtwo, Gengar, Raichu, and Charmander. These toys have a switch on them that when turned on, lights up the toy. Its too bad these toys were designed so you cannot replace the batteries so mine no longer light up.\r
\r
The fourth category is Key Chains and there were lots of charers made in this style including Geodude, Hitmonlee, Sandshrew, Nidorino, Cubone, Vileplume, Sandslash, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Dragonite, Kangaskhan, Electabuzz, and Muk.\r
\r
The round Pokemon were converted into Rev Top toys that spin like tops. The charers in this style are Graveler, Golem, Koffing, Venonat, Tangela, Jigglypuff, Chansey, Voltorb, Clefairy, , Diglett, Magnemite, and Ditto.\r
\r
Many of the water type Pokemon received squirter toys that can spray a stream of water including: Poliwrath, Seadra, Psyduck, Poliwag, Kabuto, Tentacruel, Squirtle, Blastoise,and Shellder. Most of these toys are a soft vinyl but Blastoise and Shellder are hard plastic with a button.\r
\r
The final category of the toys is Launchers. The charers in this style are Nidoran, Arcanine, Slowpoke, Lapras, Tauros, Rhyhorn, Venusaur, Bulbasaur, and Rapidash. The launchers came in two styles with some Pokemon firing from a Pokeball and others from what looks like the cloning machine.\r
\r
All of the toys were packaged in opaque plastic so you couldnt see which Pokemon figure you received. The majority of the toys came with a regular Pokeball, but the size of the Pokeball varied. The ball splits in half and and has a clip. Instead of a Pokeball, Mew came with a Pink Orb. Mewtwo came with a tank.\r
\r
All of the toys also came with a card featuring one of the original 151 Pokemon. Burger King also had sheets of cards that you could select instead of a toy. Each sheet comes with 9 cards and there were 20 different sheets. The cards from the sheets are a lower quality than those included in the toy packaging and if you separate the cards, youre left with the rough perforated edge.\r
\r

After the crap hits the fan even the smallest of things can cause much pain and or threaten your way of life. I have tested this as well as using a potato in my room when sick to pull out infections or beria from the air. With that being said, I also use it in my ear(juice) to aid my body with recovery from a infection or ache due to being hit in the ear or cut that might get infected and cause a problem. \r
Onions are known to be a cont antibiotic and antiberial.Meaning when put on an infection, they go to work on it! Its a expectorant and that is why its used when someone has a upper respiratory infection and are trying to breath better. Simply steep it and drink! I know, it taste nasty.but what do I always say? If it tastes good its most likely NOT good for us! Bitter is better and sour is power! ;) \r

UPDATE:\r
Place onion juice in ear and lay on other ear for a few moments. Allow it to soak in and when you feel it has done that stand up and let the onion juice drain out of the effected ear. I normally place a cotton ball in the hurting ear to allow heat build up and prevent cold air from blowing into the ear canal. This is similar to placing a warm cloth over the hurting ear. You dont have to do this but I prefer to. DO NOT place anything in the ear if you believe you have a hole in the ear drum, seek your Doctor right away. DO NOT place any chunks from the onion in the ear, this can get lodged in the ear and cause a hole in the drum OR even other further issues. \r
NOTE: onion juice wontlike RX ear drops that evaporate. YOU MUST drain the ear after you place the juice in it and massage the area. DO NOT leave onion juice in your ear. You will feel as though the ear is full when you place the juice in it to start with, this is normal and should go away when you drain the ear. -----much like getting out of the shower or pool and shaking the water out of the ear as you normally would.\r

Some of the largest creatures this world has ever seen lived millions of years ago. Here are ten of the largest, most fearsome sea monsters ever to prowl the oceans:\r

10-Shastasaurus: The ichthyosaurs were marine predators that looked like modern dolphins, and could reach a massive size during the Triassic period over 200 million years ago. Shastasaurus, the largest marine reptile species ever found, was a variety of ichthyosaur that could grow to over 65 feet (20m).\r
9-Dakosaurus: Dakosaurus could reach a length of 16 feet (5m). Its unique teeth have led scientists to consider it an apex predator during its reign of terror. Dakosaurus was first discovered in Germany and, with its odd reptilian-yet-fishy body, was one of the top predators in the sea during the Jurassic period.\r
8-Thalassomedon: Thalassomedon was a species of Pliosaur whose name translates from Greek to sea lord -- and for good reason. They were massive predators, reaching lengths of up to 40 feet (12m). Its flippers were nearly 7 feet (2m) long, allowing it to swim the depths with deadly efficiency.\r
7-Nothosaurus: They were armed with a mouth full of sharp, outward-pointing teeth, suggesting a diet of squid and fish.Fossil evidence suggests that they lived during the Triassic period over 200 million years ago.\r
6-Tylosaurus: Tylosaurus was a species of Mosasaur. It was enormous, reaching more than 50 feet (15m) in length. They lived during the late Cretaceous in the seas that covered North America, where they sat firmly atop the marine food chain for several million years.\r
5-Thalattoarchon Saurophagis: Only recently discovered, T. saurophagis was the size of a school bus, reaching nearly 30 feet (9m) long. It is an early species of ichthyosaur that lived during the Triassic period, 244 million years ago.\r
4-Tanystropheus: Tanystropheus was a reptile that could reach 20 feet (6m) long, and it is thought to have been alive during the Triassic period nearly 215 million years ago.\r
3-Liopleurodon: Liopleurodon was a marine reptile measuring in at more than 20 (6m) feet in length. It mostly lived in the seas that covered Europe during the Jurassic period, and it was one of the top predators around.\r
2-Mosasaurus: Fossil evidence suggests that Mosasaurus could reach as much as 50 feet (15m) in length, making it one of the largest marine predators of the Cretaceous period. \r
1-Megalodon: Megalodons prowled the depths during the Cenozoic Era, 28 -- 1.5 million years ago, and were a much bigger version of the great white shark, an apex predator of todays oceans. But while our great whites only reach a maximum length of 20 feet (6m), Megolodons could grow to 65 feet in length (20m).\r

The general impression of the model – positive but there are both pros and cons.\r
Pros: nice slipper work, good suspension articulation, wheels prically don`t touch the body. For the crawler it`s got impressive speed, excellent tires, the stock battery is enough for 2 hours 30 minutes. Servo after numerous dives into the water was OK. Punisher Shaft effect is weak. Also one of the advantages is the f that during 4-hour-driving nothing was broken!\r

Cons: very weak servo, it`s possible to turn around on a flat surface. The second disadvantage is that the model doesn`t move smoothly, very weak torque and low-speed driveability. I think that the problem is in the motor, if you change it to a high-torque eg. 55 Turn it will be smooth enough, but it will lose speed. The ideal choice is,of course, the brushless system. You`ll get the good speed, smoothness and the excellent torque.\r

What could it be improved: remove both bumpers and remove foams out wheels.\r
To sum up, as the crawler I didn`t like it at all but it`s perfect for mud or just for having fun! To buy it or not it`s up to you!\r

Из плюсов: отличная работа слиппера, хорошая артикуляция повески, колеса практически не цепляют кузов, высокая скорость для краулера, отличная резина, стоковой батареи хватило на 2 часа 30 минут. Серво привод после многочисленных погружений в воду остался исправен. Слабый эффект кардана. Так же к плюсам можно отнести то что за время покатушки (4 часа) ничего не сломалось!\r
Из минусов: очень слабая серво машинка колеса хорошо поворачиваются только на ровной поверхности. И второй минус, это слабая плавность хода, а так же слабая тяга на низах. Думаю что проблема в моторе, если его поменять на более тяговитый например на 55 витков то плавности будет хоть отбавляй, но при этом потеряем в скорости. Идеальный вариант это конечно сенсорная бесколлекторная система будет тяга, плавность и скорость.\r
Что можно улучшить: убрать оба бампера с мостов и убрать паралон из колес. \r
В итоге как краулер он мне не понравился совсем, а вот как гряземес или просто для покатушек по любой поверхности (кроме камней) просто отличная модель! Выбор за вами!\r
