Pese a que está prohibida la venta a menores de 18, según un informe de la OCU, casi ocho de cada 10 locales no cumplen la ley.El estudio toma como muestra las ciudades de Barcelona, Bilbao, Granada, Madrid, Valencia y Valladolid. De estas, en Valencia, Barcelona y Granada es donde los menores de edad tienen menos problemas para adquirir alcohol.

Los jóvenes españoles ven cada vez más negro su futuro

Han vivido teniendo todo lo que deseaban, pero la época de los caprichos ha pasado también para ellos.Al preguntarles queda claro que las cosas han cambiado. Unos dicen que tienen menos dinero para salir o comprar ropa. Otros afirman que siguen saliendo por ahí pero que de comprar nada, sólo a tomar el aire. Alguno se lamenta de que antes, cuando pedía dinero para sus cosas se lo daban pero ahora ese tiempo pasó. Según un estudio de la Liga Española de Educación, los jóvenes españoles son cada vez más conscientes del paro y de la crisis, y ven su futuro con incertidumbre. Una chica lo define directamente como "muy negro", sobre todo para su generación. Una madre no puede evitar pensar que los jóvenes, directamente, no tienen un futuro al que agarrarse. Aun así, el 40% de los encuestados aspira a tener un buen trabajo o ganar mucho dinero. Un chico trata de ser optimista. Afirma que el panorama es gris pero que, en algún momento, esto tiene que cambiar para mejor. De momento, los jóvenes españoles se desenvuelven en el presente con la intención de comerse el futuro. El 50% de los adolescentes quiere ser de mayor "triunfador".

Comprar droga, cada día más difícil gracias a la Policía

El Ministero del Interior asegura que nunca antes los jóvenes lo habían tenido tan difícil para comprar y consumir droga. Afirma que cada vez hay más  controles y que  cada vez se cierran mas puntos de venta .Las redadas se centran en locales de copas y cercanías de colegios. Su objetivo: identificar a los vendedores y acabar con situaciones de menores trapicheando a las puertas de los institutos.La cocaína y el hachís siguen siendo las drogas más consumidas por los jóvenes, pero hoy tienen más dificultades para acceder a ellas y más conciencia del riesgo que corren.El consumo de cocaína, éxtasis y cannabis entre los jóvenes sigue cayendo, pero todavía queda trabajo por hacer. Desde 2006, las fuerzas de seguridad han efectuado casi ciento treinta mil denuncias por tenencia y consumo de estupefacientes.

Zapatillas nuevas para comenzar el año

Jóvenes de toda la comarca coruñesa siguieron este año la tradición de terminar la fiesta de Nochevieja con un chocolate con churros en Betanzos, que celebra en Año Nuevo una de sus ferias más multitudinarias. Las chicas, cansadas de llevar tacones durante toda la noche, tienen por costumbre comprar zapatillas de "andar por casa" y descansar así los pies. Es una forma de acabar bien la noche y disfrutar de una tradición que cada día tiene más seguidores.

Segunda noche del Saloufest con fiesta y ruido en las calles

Los jóvenes británicos que participan en el Saloufest han pasando su segunda noche de fiesta y diversión en la localidad de Tarragona. A primera hora de la tarde muchos han aprovechado para comprar alcohol en los supermercados, han cenado pronto y han empezado a beber en las habitaciones de sus hoteles. Unas fiestas que en algunas ocasiones también se han extendido a las piscinas y jardines de los hoteles con música y bailes, para desesperación de vecinos y algunos huéspedes. A partir de las once de la noche han empezado a llenar los locales de ocio nocturno de Salou. Muchos de los jóvenes iban disfrazados y ya a esa hora habían bebido más de la cuenta. La policía vigilaba que no hubiese incidentes y también controlaban sus movimientos miembros de la organización. Este primer grupo está formado por unos 4000 jóvenes y estarán en Salou hasta el próximo jueves.

La mayoría son de mediana edad y buscan recrear la experiencia de su primera vez con la droga cuando tenían muchos menos años. Cientos de personas se han apuntado. Hay una lista de espera hasta junio.

Zapatillas para acabar la Nochevieja

Tacones altos y fiesta es siempre sinónimo de dolor de pies, pero las jóvenes de Betanzos, en La Coruña, han encontrado la solución para prolongar la Noche Vieja mucho más allá del amanecer. Cada uno de enero acuden hasta el mercado que se celebra en la plaza de los Hermanos García Naveira para comprar unas confortables y cómodas zapatillas que les permitan continuar la fiesta, incluso, hasta bien entrada la tarde. Poco les importa que el calzado doméstico no les combine a la perfección con los vestidos de noche. Lo importante, dicen, es dar un respiro a sus pies.

La píldora del día después comienza a dispensarse sin receta médica

Es la píldora del día después que se vende en las farmacias sin necesidad de receta médica. Con esta medida el Ministerio de Sanidad pretende evitar embarazos no deseados entre jóvenes y adolescentes. "Se debe administrar no pasadas las 72 horas del acto sexual", dicen las farmacéuticas. No es un método anticonceptivo y su utilización debe ceñirse a situaciones de riesgo. Con el fin de evitar un mal uso de la píldora poscoital los padres piden más información para los jóvenes, que facilitarán los farmacéuticos a las adolescentes. Aunque muchas farmacias no cuentan todavía con los folletos explicativos, según el Gobierno con esta medida España se equipara a la mayoría de países europeos. Los menores de edad podrán comprar la píldora por 18 euros. En 2007, 10.600 menores tuvieron embarazos no deseados, de las cuales más de 6.000 abortaron.

El ejército alemán emplea mulos comprados en Murcia para sus misiones especiales

Los mulos son animales capaces de mantener sobre su lomo 300 kilos de peso durante más de 10 horas. Son robustos, fuertes y dóciles a  diferencia de los caballos, asnos y burros. Por eso son los animales más preciados y que más utiliza el ejército alemán en sus misiones especiales. Cada año se desplazan hasta Murcia para comprar varios ejemplares que someten a un riguroso control físico. Los más valorados son los machos romos, fruto del cruce entre el caballo y la burra. Aquí se destinan al arrastre de toros, maderas o paseo de carros. Estos todavía son jóvenes pero cuando cumplan los 3 años obtendrán el pasaporte para trabajar con el ejército germano en zonas de alta montaña donde ni siquiera los vehículos pueden acceder.

My Little Pony: Twilight Sparkle, Teacher for a Day is a storybook app based on a popular cartoonand toy line. In this story, Princess Celestia (a pony) asks Twilight Sparkle (also a pony) to teach her fellow ponies about the history of their land, Equestria. Twilight Sparkle is afraid she cant handle the task, but succeeds in the end with the help of her friends. The story is full of positive messages and is generally very sweet (if not a bit saccharine). The app also contains a few games along the way (mazes and spot-the-difference puzzles), which reward kids with new words they can use in a Mad Libs type story-building game at the end. \r

As a storybook app, MY LITTLE PONY: TWILIGHT SPARKLE, TEACHER FOR A DAY is a good read-along tale, but offers very little in the way of interivity. There is, at most, one hotspot per page, and it usually triggers something small like blinking eyes or a puff of sparkles. Luckily, there are tilt-controlled mazes and spot-the-difference puzzles sprinkled in there as well. Theyre fun, as is the fill-in-the-blank story at the end. Although, if you really want to enjoy that Mad Libs-style ivity you will need to play through the story many times, since those only get you four words each time.
