School Days ~ Erina Mano [真野恵里菜]

Another of my special Erina Mano videos, this time the video is inspired by the school, hence it has the classic Japanese Erina school uniform, the uniform worn by high school girls in sailor's style (sailor fuku) but it should be noted that the Japanese word for uniform is seifuku.
The school uniform is known for being part of Japanese culture. In the manga and anime have been stylized versions of Japanese school uniforms of any type, such as Sailor Moon, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, Cardcaptor Sakura, Tokyo Mew Mew, Agent Aika, etc..

The song that I used as sound track is "See You (PV version), extracted the album I've Mania Vol 1.

Men were subject to harsh labor and kept from traditional hunting; whereas women had to serve the Japanese policemen and their families by doing the household work and giving up their traditional weaving work. Above all, they were forbidden to tattoo their faces. And these tattoos were seen as the Seediq's traditional belief to transform themselves into Seediq Bale ("true humans").

"Sushi Samurai" visits vast algae farm in Spain

Telde (Gran Canaria), Apr 4 (EFE).- A Japanese expert know as the "Sushi Samurai" was in the Canary Islands on Thursday to sample seaweed produced at the Spanish Bank of Algae to explore the potential of the farm. Chef Hirotoshi Ogawa, who was appointed an ambassador by the Japanese government to spread Japanese food and culture around the world, was visiting an algae research facility on the island of Gran Canaria to taste the vast range of seaweed the Algae Bank (BEA) cultivates.

On March 11, 2011, Japan's Tohoku coastal region was destroyed by a 9.0 magnitude earthquake and devastating tsunami that followed. PRAY FOR JAPAN takes place in the devastated region of Ishinomaki, Miyagi - the largest coastal city in Tohoku with a population of over 160,000 people. Filmmaker Stu Levy - an American living in Japan - filmed the tsunami aftermath during his trips to Tohoku as a volunteer and over a period of 6 weeks, captured over 50 hours of footage. PRAY FOR JAPAN focuses on four key perspectives of the tragedy - School, Shelter, Family, and Volunteers. With each perspective we meet victims who faced significant obstacles and fought to overcome them. Through these four vantage points, the audience is able to understand the vast ramifications of this large-scale natural disaster - and the battle these real-life heroes fought on behalf of their loved ones and their hometown.

Golf Magazine Presents 36 Great Holes Starring Fred Couples is a golf video game for the Sega 32X. The game features Fred Couples on the cover and is sponsored by Golf Magazine. It was released in 1994 in the North America, Japan, and Europe regions.

The game uses 12 male and 12 female players, and is set at 27 golfcourses around the USA.

In Japan, Famitsu gave the game a score of 23 out of 40. In North America, GamePro recommended the game "for thinking golfers who love to experiment", praising the wide range of options and the detailed course graphics, though they criticized the difficult shooting controls and the unclear overhead maps.

Konami Hyper Soccer fue el primer videojuego de fútbol de Konami para una consola Nintendo, y considerado la semilla de las posteriores sagas International Superstar Soccer y Winning Eleven. Fue lanzado en 1992 para la NES.

Konami Hyper Soccer for the Nintendo Entertainment System was Konami's first soccer game on a Nintendo console, and the predecessor to Konami's International Superstar Soccer and Winning Eleven series.

It was part of Konami's Hyper Sports series which included Hyper Olympic (Track & Field outside of Japan), its sequel Hyper Sports and Hyper Athlete. The game was only released in Europe. As the controller of a NES game console has only two buttons, the gameplay is understandably simple, on the ball, one button for pass and slide tackle, that can be also used for volley, and one for lob and for headers while off the ball.

The game allows two players, either against each other or both against the computer in either a single match or a tournament. There are twenty-four playable international teams, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Argentina, France, Spain, England, Brazil, Poland, Uruguay, Hungary, USSR (now defunct), Sweden, Czechoslovakia, Cameroon, Ireland, Japan, Korea (corresponds to South Korea rather than North Korea), United States, Mexico, Australia, Scotland, Colombia and Yugoslavia. Before the game, the player can choose the formation of their team as well as number of overall attributes, including offense and defense, as well as luck. Unlike other similar games at the time, Hyper Soccer featured more advanced moves such as bicycle kicks, flying headers and volleys. The game features a scrolling view of the pitch and 2-Dimensional sprites for the players, one of two background music tracks can be chosen to play during the match.

Unusual for a sports game, there is no on-screen display of the game's score or the time remaining.

Galaxy Force (ギャラクシーフォース?) is a sprite-scaling rail shooter arcade game, released by Sega in 1988 and built upon the Sega Y Board. The game which is in the tradition of Sega's successful Space Harrier is set in space. The game was ported in 1989 to the Sega Master System and in 1990 to the Mega Drive/Genesis, Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, FM Towns, Sega Saturn and PlayStation 2 platforms.

Two other versions of the arcade game were released as Galaxy Force II Deluxe Edition and Galaxy Force Super Deluxe Edition. Galaxy Force II was also released on the Virtual Console via Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in Japan on February 3, 2009, in Europe on May 1, 2009 and in North America on May 11, 2009.[6] Galaxy Force II was released on Nintendo 3DS as part of the 3D Classics series. The evil Fourth Empire, ruled by Halcyon, begins a campaign of galactic conquest, after laying waste to almost all of the star systems in the galaxy, An interstellar organization, known as the Space Federation, launches Galaxy Force, an elite starfighter corps specializing in space combat to free the galaxy from the oppressive rule of Halcyon and the Fourth Empire. A lone fighter wages a one-man war against Halcyon and his forces.

Description from the American release:

"In this distant Galaxy exist many systems harboring life. Trade and communication have arisen between these star systems, as has a great, dark force threatening these distant civilizations. To fight this dark menace the Space Federation was formed, but has met with little success. The enemy calls itself THE FOURTH EMPIRE and has now attacked JUNOS, jewel of the Galaxy. The JUNOS star system, once so beautiful... is only ashes now. And on these ashes THE FOURTH EMPIRE is building the strongest fortress of all time, from which to complete their conquest of the galaxy. The Space Federation must end this evil menace! Thus is launched Galaxy Force, to strike a hammer blow against the forces threatening civilization. Fortunately, having done this duty of saving JUNOS people and destroying THE FOURTH EMPIRE, a combatant of Galaxy Force returned to the ship."

# 6 Stone Spheres of Costa Rica\r
There are over 300 almost perfectly spherical stone balls located on the Diquis Delta and Isla del Cano and are locally known as Las Bolas. They are commonly believed to have been built by the now extinct Diquis Culture and may have been sculptures used to line the pathways to the houses of chiefs, however, this is unconfirmed. These mysterious spheres range in size from just a few centimeters to 2 meters or 6.6 feet in diameter and can weigh up to 15 tons. While many marvel at their perfectly spherical shape now, they have been exposed to erosion for countless years and may have changed from their original shapes.\r

Gobleki Tepe or Potbelly Hill in Turkish is an archaeological site in Southeastern Anatolia. It includes some of the worlds largest megaliths. Interestingly, they date back to the 10th millennium B.C.E. made by semi-nomadic hunters who were unaware of agriculture. Most people believe that humans settled into permanent settlements, then started agriculture, and then started to build temples but Gobekli Tepe challenges that chronology as farming didnt start in the area until around five centuries after this structure was built.\r

The Yonaguni Monument is a submerged rock formation off the coast of the Ryukyu Islands in Japan. The monument has seemingly artificial edges with sharp edges and flat surfaces that seem man-made. The monument seems to be made of twin megaliths because of the right angles on the monument. Those who believe this was a monument made on land and then fell and was submerged into the ocean somewhere between 3,000 years and 10,000 years ago. While the true nature of the Yonaguni Monument is largely debated - some believe it is a naturally occurring rock formation while others strongly believe it is the remnants of a lost ancient civilization.\r

# 3 The Unfinished Egyptian Obelisk\r
The Egyptians left behind plenty of things for us to marvel at but one thing they left behind that you might not know about is the Unfinished Obelisk. It is taller than any known obelisk that has been raised however it seems quarrymen abandoned the structure when the sides of it frured. It weighed over 1150 tons and measures 120 feet in height. It was one of the most amazing discoveries in Egypt. As opposed to the Great Pyramids which only shows us the final product, the Unfinished Obelisk shows a glimpse into how Ancient Egyptians worked and made things. In this case, the Obelisk was being carved out of granite bedrock with balls of Dolerite which is a mineral that is harder than granite.\r

Pumapunku is a part of a large temple complex near the Tiwanaku Site of Western Bolivia. It is believed to date have been made approximately 1500 years ago. Pumapunku is comprised of elaborate stone structures that once framed a magnificent and quote “unbelievably wonderful” complex. The stone structures are made with what seems to be complex tools and precision that baffles modern historians. High precision holes and divots are cut into the structure in a way that didnt seem possible at the time.\r

The people of Malta and Gozo in the Mediterranean existed for approximately 1,100 years from 4,000 to 2900 B.C.E. before completely disappearing for no reason. This mysterious culture left behind more than 30 temples in their wake, some of the oldest freestanding stone structures in the world. They seem to have a civilization that focused a lot on life, uality, and death with several phallic symbols, figurines, and figurines of fertile ladies. These temples also had complex underground burial chambers and an abundance of artwork suggesting a thriving society and culture. What could have wiped out such a major civilization so suddenly with nothing left behind remains a mystery although some suggest it was a combination of extreme environmental fors, disease and possibly religious extremists.
