AVW Tunnel Car Wash at Olive Blvd Shell, Chesterfield MO

Three car washes nearly side-by-side. Looks like Ill be back to this part of town again! As youll see in the video, I selected the Shell station because it was the only one without a huge line. It has an attendant-free mini tunnel car wash in the back. While it DID get all of the grime off of my car, it left a lot of spots. I think that the spot-free rinse did work, but the crappy dryers blew non-spot-free water back onto my car. Overall, I wasnt hugely impressed. Follow me on:\r

Stopped Dermagraphism

Hi Kate

I am 55 years old and have been suffering from
dermagraphism for almost 3 years.

My allergist thinks it stated after I had an
allergic reaction to codeine.

I have had back surgery 5 years ago and needed
it for pain occasionally.

He called it dermagraphism and had me take
antihistamine twice a day.

They say I am not allergic to anything in
particular but have non allergic rhinitis's.

I was just on holidays and it was very warm and

Adventure Time | Flute Spell | Finn meets Huntress Wizard

Jake is on the search to find who Finn's new girlfriend is Huntress Wizard! Deep in the forest at night, Jake comes across melodic flute playing coming from above the canopy. Upon stretching to the top, Jake witnesses Finn playing his Flute for Huntress Wizard. The two stand across from each other while Finn continues his music, but after a little bit, Huntress Wizard tells him that "it" isn't working out and abruptly leaves. Hollywood Brawl STUN GUN AND GIRL FIGHTING

It got downright SCARY in Hollywood Saturday night -- when a nightclub security guard whipped out his stun gun and WENT AFTER some people while a brawl broke out in the street ... and it was all caught on tape.

It's unclear exactly what started the madness -- but while the stun gun toting guard was chasing some people down the street ... a woman began to attack a man with closed-fist punches.

Russia's monument to the enema

An unusual monument to that notorious medical procedure - the enema - has been erected in a resort town in southern Russia.

The one and a half metre-high sculpture to the enema is made of bronze, weighs 400 kilogrammes and cost one million roubles.

# 6 Stone Spheres of Costa Rica\r
There are over 300 almost perfectly spherical stone balls located on the Diquis Delta and Isla del Cano and are locally known as Las Bolas. They are commonly believed to have been built by the now extinct Diquis Culture and may have been sculptures used to line the pathways to the houses of chiefs, however, this is unconfirmed. These mysterious spheres range in size from just a few centimeters to 2 meters or 6.6 feet in diameter and can weigh up to 15 tons. While many marvel at their perfectly spherical shape now, they have been exposed to erosion for countless years and may have changed from their original shapes.\r

Gobleki Tepe or Potbelly Hill in Turkish is an archaeological site in Southeastern Anatolia. It includes some of the worlds largest megaliths. Most people believe that humans settled into permanent settlements, then started agriculture, and then started to build temples but Gobekli Tepe challenges that chronology as farming didnt start in the area until around five centuries after this structure was built.\r

The Yonaguni Monument is a submerged rock formation off the coast of the Ryukyu Islands in Japan. The monument has seemingly artificial edges with sharp edges and flat surfaces that seem man-made. The monument seems to be made of twin megaliths because of the right angles on the monument. Those who believe this was a monument made on land and then fell and was submerged into the ocean somewhere between 3,000 years and 10,000 years ago. While the true nature of the Yonaguni Monument is largely debated - some believe it is a naturally occurring rock formation while others strongly believe it is the remnants of a lost ancient civilization.\r

The Egyptians left behind plenty of things for us to marvel at but one thing they left behind that you might not know about is the Unfinished Obelisk. It is taller than any known obelisk that has been raised however it seems quarrymen abandoned the structure when the sides of it frured. It weighed over 1150 tons and measures 120 feet in height. It was one of the most amazing discoveries in Egypt. As opposed to the Great Pyramids which only shows us the final product, the Unfinished Obelisk shows a glimpse into how Ancient Egyptians worked and made things. In this case, the Obelisk was being carved out of granite bedrock with balls of Dolerite which is a mineral that is harder than granite.\r

Pumapunku is a part of a large temple complex near the Tiwanaku Site of Western Bolivia. It is believed to date have been made approximately 1500 years ago. The stone structures are made with what seems to be complex tools and precision that baffles modern historians. "I meant to write a symphony, but the title is of no importance", Tchaikovsky wrote Sergei Taneyev. When he had gone to the Davidov family estate at Kamenka in the Ukraine, he had contemplated ideas for a piano concerto and a symphony. Neither plan really materialized the way the composer intended. He quickly recognized his ideas for the symphony were better suited for an orchestral suite like the two he had previously written. The problem lay with the opening movement. Titled Contrastes, it was to be a fantasia of contrasting musical sounds and patterns, not unlike the Jeu de sons movement that opened the Second Orchestral Suite. The more he worked with the music, the more recalcitrant the music became and the more he hated it. Contrastes finally found its way into the Concert Fantasia.
Tchaikovsky's original layout for the Third Suite was similar to that of his Second—a fairly large opening movement as in his first two orchestral suites, then three smaller ones and a theme–and–variations finale. The developments that Contrastes underwent, while good for the Concert Fantasia, left the suite unbalanced, with three small-scale movements followed by a theme-and-variations movement as large as all three previous movements placed together. Even without Contrastes, the suite remains a long work.
Wiley writes that Tchaikovsky composed the scherzo first. The theme-and-variation finale came last, beginning with the concluding polonaise. This, he says, might have helped the composer clarify his strategy in pacing the movement and guiding its overall momentum. He also links the theme of the finale to the other movements: "its opening chord is presented as a triad with added sixth, [which he used for the scherzo immediately preceding it] and, like the [opening] Elegie, the movement is resolutely melodic..
Wiley also says the quality of Prelest' (meaning "charming" or "pleasing") in the Third Suite "is too prominent for a symphony, while at the same time the suite's coherence advances well beyond the casual miscellency of the Second." This continuity, he suggests, "casts doubt on the freedom he so cherished when writing the First Suite six years earlier." The Third Suite, Wiley adds, is also much darker music in tone than in the two suites that preceded it.

7. Chinese Ghost Towns\r
It almost seems like a new Chinese tradition to build extremely large cities but with no one in them and see what happens later on. Whether its to house future residents or just to prove they have the resources to do it, Chinas ghost towns are some of the most unbelievable. Its believed that Chinas urban cities will contain about 70% of its population in about 15 years. Chinas most well known Kangbashi was completely lifeless despite its abandoned high rise apartments, large freeways and everything a modern city could desire. But just recently people starting moving here, and despite the surplus of living spaces, China has come up with the a completely new urban strategy. Build the city first; then let the people fill in. Although it might seem like strange ghost towns now, in the future they could be one of the worlds most advanced cities in the world.\r

While ants might be those tiny, creepy insects that always seem to crawling through your house, the Chinese believe that eating ants can cure diseases and relieve pain. Researchers suspect that ants could help treat arthritis and hepatitis but no definitive explanations has been given. Foot-binding is the painful process of wearing extremely tight shoes at a young age to prevent any further growth. The Chinese most commonly priced this and it wasnt until the early 1900s when it began to lose popularity. Women in the country found it to be the only way to keep their feet from becoming too large. Some cases are just mind boggling when the size of a shoe is only 3 inches. In severe cases, women would lose complete circulation to their toes and they would have to be amputated! Not to mention all the falls that took place trying to walk like that! But dont judge, wearing high heels in our culture is just as ridiculous, if you think about! 4. Burping Your Appreciation\r
While some cultures find it rude to burp at a dinner table, its almost rude in China not to burp! Many of us are taught not to do this from a young age. Burping is seen as a sign of appreciation to the chef and that you enjoyed your meal. When their eating soup, a loud slurping noise is also considered polite. So if someone is giving you a hard time about this, next time you can say that its completely fine in China. Compliments to the chef!\r

If you ever head to a beach some day in China, dont be too startled if you see someone wearing one of these. While people in the US usually go to the beach in order to get a tan, people in China try to avoid it as much as possible. Since pale skin is often sought after in Asian countries, something called a face-kini is a relatively new tradition that keeps people from catching too many rays. The face-kini is also been reported as something that will protect them from pesky jellyfish sting. The inventor Zhang Shifan, reported that he never could have imagined its popularity would reach this level. \r

While not all Chinese people eat dogs, it is more common in southern provinces. The city of Yulin holds a controversial festival each year in June despite global outrage. Thousand of dogs are slaughtered and some are served restaurants while others in the streets. China doesnt have any large scale dog-breeding farms unlike other countries where this meat is consumed. As a result, many local dogs are stolen from their owners illegally. Also these animals are shipped there with unknown origins. The inhabitants of this town claim it to be a tradition and supporters claim that its no different than killing cows, chickens or other farm animals. While quite a few countries in Asia have banned consumption of dogs, China is not one of them. As you see in this photo, many dogs are stored in cramped cages waiting for what will happen next.\r
