At least 20 migrants missing in Sicilian Channel
Rome, Sep 7 (EFE).- Some 20 migrants went missing after falling in the Strait of Sicily from an inflatable boat, with which they were trying to reach the Italian shores from Libya, according to the 107 survivors rescued by the Italian coastguard on Monday.

Italy rescues more than 3,000 immigrants over the past two days
Roma, Sep 4 (EFE).- The Italian Coast Guard has rescued more than 3,000 migrants off the country's southern shores this week, according to the latest figures provided by Italian authorities.
The Coast Guard said it rescued 105 migrants aboard a boat from Libya on Thursday, bringing the total to 3,017 over the past three days.

Hundreds of Migrants Rescued Off Libyan Coast
Over 650 people were rescued off the Libyan Coast on Saturday, May 6, the Spanish government said. The migrants were taken on board the Spanish vessel Canarias bettween Friday night and the early hours of Saturday and will land in Italy.
The rescue was part of the European Union military mission Sophia for combating refugee smuggling in the Mediterranean. The Italian Coast Guard also reported the rescue of over 3,000 migrants on Saturday.
