Pimp my rickshaw

A traditional Beijing rickshaw is given a makeover with the addition of the rear body of a Mini Cooper.

Named "the other rickshaw", the vehicle features four gold-plated dragons and other Chinese decorations.

It was designed by Beijing's BMW car dealer which sells Minis who the rickshaw will attract the attention of visitors to Beijing following the 2008 Olympics.

The traditional Beijing rickshaw had become a special attraction in the Beijing city tour with more than 1000 rickshaws being used to transport tourists around the city.

A receptionist at a hotel in Yiwu (China) made a pervert run away after he, taking advantage of the fact that she was asleep, approached her and performed touches on her buttocks.

The images, captured by a security camera at the hotel reception on August 26, show the man touching the back of the sleeping woman after accessing the other side of the counter. Initially, the suspect tried to cover the victim's mouth with his hands to prevent him from screaming. However, it quickly managed to hit him and make him run away.

Shenzhen (China), Mar 7 (EFE).- Huawei Technologies Co. filed a lawsuit challenging a law signed by President Trump in August that restricts federal agencies from doing business with the Chinese company, the latest in a series of countermoves by the telecommunications giant, Dow Jones Newswires reported in an article made available to EFE on Thursday.

Iron Man 3 Official Trailer Made in China NMA Edition 2012 HD

Iron Man 3 will be made with a Chinese partner, Disney has announced, in Hollywood's latest effort to tap into the growing Chinese film market. The film will be co-financed by Chinese company DMG Entertainment, which will be responsible for scenes shot in China. DMG will also distribute the film in China.

"We know Chinese audiences love Iron Man. So we are going to add Chinese elements and a Chinese story into Iron Man 3," Stanley Cheung, Disney's general manager for Greater China, told the BBC.
Iron Man 3 is scheduled to be released in the US in May 2013.

Co-productions with Chinese firms skirt import quotas, as China only lets in 20 foreign films for national distribution per year. But storylines must conform to themes the Communist Party wishes to promote, such as submission of the individual to government authority for the greater good of China.

A trailer I made of her father and I where I ask her father for her hand in marriage. After he gives me permission, I race off to the theater she is at to ask her to marry me.
What she doesn't know is our familiy and friends are in the theater with her watching the whole thing, along with about 100 strangers ;-)

This is my own version of evil robot leader transforming into laser pistol; I made his design based in the Decepticon Megatron, original character from Hasbro’s Transformers; making modifications to name, sizes, movements, details and colors.

"Spiderman", en China

retired soldier who climbed five floors like a 'Spider-man' to save a home-alone boy in China has won millions of hearts.

Zhang Xin yesterday scaled the façade of a residential building with his bare hands to reach the two-year-old who had got stuck between window bars.

Selfless Mr Zhang has been compared to a heroic Malian immigrant who climbed five storeys to save a child in Paris less than two week ago.The dramatic rescue saw the Good Samaritan clambering from window grille to window grille in order to reach the struggling child, who was jammed at his torso.

The toddler had been left at his home unattended by his grandmother, reports said.

The saviour's action has been captured on video clips by nearby residents in the Zhijiang town of Huaihua city in Hunan province.

Mr Zhang said he was notified of the accident by onlookers. He was told a little boy had been trapped at an anti-theft grille on the fourth floor.

Beijing Auto Show SUV popular with consumers

The Beijing International Automotive Exhibition is ongoing and sport utility vehicles or SUVs as they're more commonly known are proving popular with consumers.

Consumers have been streaming through the doors at the Beijing Auto Show to see what's new on the car market.

The SUV is one vehicle that has been attracting huge amounts of attention.

Whether it's the look or what's under the hood, some consumers have bought the massive vehicle on the spot. Signed, sealed, delivered.

Consumer: "I like SUVs because of the better view and more driving pleasure."

Salesman: "So many people are interested and a total of 4 to 5 thousand cars have been reserved."

Sales teams at the expo say the SUV'S advantages include large amounts of space, it's height off the ground and high-tech security. Some auto dealers have raised the price of some SUVs.

Consumer: "I want to buy a Tiguan but I am afraid I have to pay 40,000 yuan more to get it."

To meet demand from the fast growing market in China, auto makers including Audi, Benz, Volvo and BMW have brought their latest models to Beijing to put on show for consumers.

Meanwhile, Chinese domestic car makers such as Geely and Chery are also showing off their products at the low-end market.

Some high-tech gadgets on low-end SUVs are made by Chinese auto makers.

Shen Siyuan, Director, Anchi Xinda Technology Corp., said, "We supply the keyless start system to the domestic automakers to improve their competitiveness."

Statistics show: 269 thousand SUVs were sold in China in March. That's an increase of 160 percent compared to last year.

China earthquake 2010 CNN Footage 6.9-7.1

The quake, which struck at 7:49 a.m. in Qinghai Province, had a magnitude of 7.1 according to Chinas earthquake administration.

According to the China Earthquake Networks Center, the earthquake struck in Yushu County, a remote and mountainous area sparsely populated by farmers and herders, most of them ethnic Tibetans. The region is pocked with copper, tin and coal mines and rich in natural gas. A government Web site said the countys population was around 80,000.

The China Earthquake Networks Center said the epicenter was in Yushu County, a sparsely populated area that is home to farmers and herders, most of whom are ethnic Tibetans.

China National Radio said that more than 80 percent of the homes in the area had collapsed but that schools and government buildings had largely remained standing.

Karsum Nyima, an employee of a local television station in Yushu, told the national television broadcaster, CCTV, that the quake had sent people running into the streets.

All of a sudden, the houses collapsed, he said. It was a terrible earthquake. In the park, a Buddhist pagoda fell down. Everyone is in the street in front of their houses. They are trying to find family members.

In the same broadcast, Wu Yong, an officer in the Chinese Army, said that the road to the airport was impassable and that soldiers were digging out people from collapsed homes by hand.

The most important thing now is that this place is far from everything, with few accessible rescue troops available, Mr. Wu said. I feel like the number of dead and injured will keep going up.

Local officials said that phone service was limited and that rescue efforts were stymied by a lack of heavy equipment. Medical supplies and tents, they added, were in short supply.

State news media reported that 700 paramilitary officers were already working in the quake zone and that another 3,000 troops would be sent to the area to assist in search and rescue efforts. The civil affairs ministry said it would also send 5,000 tents and 50,000 blankets.

Last August, Golmud was hit by a 6.2 magnitude earthquake that destroyed dozens of homes but caused no deaths. Qinghai is an ethnic melting pot of Tibetans, Mongols and Han Chinese. It is adjacent to Sichuan Province, where at least 87,000 people died in a powerful earthquake in 2008

The need to impress renewed audiences was what inspired the acrobats to embark on the road, many of them ceasing to be sedentary, by leaving their villages and homes to become part of a nomadic nation, at the beginning these groups of traveling artists accepted retired military, soldiers, deserters, warriors, thieves, revolutionaries, explorers, sailors and all kinds of people who wanted to escape from something.

I think it was from all the bottles of nail polish I used. No I will say if you make this nail polish slime just remember it gives of a strong odor of nail polish and you may want to cut down on the bottles you use. However youcould use any nail polish you like to make this slime and you will have so much fun. I am thinking about doing a slime with less bottles of nail polish that many ually color your hand, but I just dont think that is the point of slime but we will see!! For now just enjoy how cool this slime was to make. \r

For all you nail polish freaks out there I may just do a holo nail polish slime that you can put on your hands now that would be super cool. I think it would be totally fun to do. I dont think I am the queen of slime, but with all these slimes that have come in to the works. Like the mask that I have made and this nail polish slime that I just made. I could be a queen of slime in the making. I think slime is so fun to make and an amazing way to connect with you guys. This slime may seem like the only make it Mondays I have done, but trust and believe they are not! Right now I just have a pretty huge obsession with making slime. I will probably move into more DIYS and HOW TOS but for now I am enjoying this nail polish slime.\r
