5 - Gak\r
This popular form of slime courtesy of those fine chaps at Nickelodeon had kids giggling with delight over one of the oldest jokes in human history, fart noises. Created by the toy company Mattel, these strange moulding compounds had to be properly stored in their molding case in order to avoid drying out. Stretch it, mold it, snap it, bounce it, love it, squeeze for stress relief or but the gak in the dark model to make yourself a super nifty retro glow in the dark goo flavored nightlight. There are a bunch of homemade recipes online which you can easily find, so feel free to do it yourself and enjoy countless hours of fart noises and stretchy gakky features. 4 - Skip It\r
Heres one which many of us have our wrinkled fingers crossed will make a comeback. Allow me to reintroduce the Skip It! This toy attaches to your foot with a circular hoop, a little plastic twine connects this to the ball at the end, which would record the number of spins as your legs hopped to kick it around and around your legs until you got exhausted or bashed the ball clean off, which happened more often than not, my neighbor busted mine and never replaced it, makes me all sad and nostalgic just remembering kicking the plastic shell in circles for hours. This little plastic toy was great exercise but again, attention spans were fast paced in the 1990s and the skip it was soon replaced by other things, but some of us remember the good times, spent chasing our skip its around in pleasant circular patterns. \r

3 - Pogs\r
These fad toys were ultra super popular for a few months in the 90s and then as fast as they came vanished without a trace, except for a few stubborn collectors who still have a crate of these milk cap inspired creations in their basement, because many of us refuse to let the 90s die! Originally conceived from a game played with milk caps, these pieces of thick cardboard shaped like circles would have decorative designs on one side and a brand name or white space on the other. A pog board could be purchased for cheap as well as a slammer, which is a much thicker version of a pog and youre ready to do battle! Kids would decide in the beginning to play for keeps or just for fun, or not for keeps, but most of us would peer pressure until the stakes were raised to keeps. U each place your pogs on the board face down, then bounce the slammer against the board, every pog which turns up face up with the design showing would be awarded to that player and so on until all the pogs were accredited for, the person with the most at the end wins. This is another crazy 90s fad which has many of us hoping will make a comeback so we can break out those circles of power and slammers of doom! \r

2 - Tamagotchi\r
Who can forget the first totally digital keychain pets! From those cats in Japan and the world of Bandi, these little computer babies became a huge fad, over 76 million were sold worldwide and then just as fast the tiny computerised creatures vanished from the face of the Earth. This probably had something to do with the f that if you left one alone in your locker during class or forgot about the little bugger in your pocket for an hour or so the little digital critter would die. This virtual pet required feeding, happiness and discipline, there were mini games to play and new candies to be earned, if you really tried and spent every waking hour taking care of the pixelated pet, they would grow from tiny babies to healthy bizarre extremely whiny needy creatures. They go from baby to child to teen to adult, however, most of us never had the attention span to make it passed teen and we would often return to find our beloved digital whatever creature these things are neglected and dead from starvation or living in its own filth. Maybe we should have just stuck to pet rocks. \r

If you didnt have a super soaker back in the 1990s, then you were doomed to get wet with no means of retaliation. These recreational water guns which utilised manual pressure to fire streams of water at your opponent usually through aof pumping motions were invented in the 80s but didnt go on sale till 1990. And we have hooked ever since, there are a million different versions of these high powered water guns, there were models which had backpacks full of water which strapped to your back, dual ion firing nozzles, high-pressure water pump ion and some even had laser pointing technology for more accurate and deadly sprays of ice cold water. Picked up a few Logitech K400 Wireless Multi-Touch Pad Keyboards for the Man Cave and Man Cave Bedroom (Theater) to make controlling my computers remotely much easier. I must say that Im really impressed with the product and it overall exceeded my expectations. It supports multi-touch for easy scrolling and has multiple ways to perform mouse clicks making it very ergonomic for single handed or dual handed operation. The touch pad also very responsive and works great even with greasy fingers.\r

Works fantastic with PLeX, XBMC and Media Center as you would expect it should. The touch pad is also very good as I have said multiple times before, you wont be disappointed by this little gem.\r

1999 Burger King Pokemon Toy Collection & Review\r
Back in 1999 Burger King ran an ambitious campaign of including one of 57 different Pokemon as toys in their kids meals in celebration of the first Pokemon , Mewtwo Strikes Back.. Today, were going to take a closer look at the various toys.\r
\r
The Pokemon toys were split into different categories depending on their gimmick. The charers available in the Poke Beanbag form are Oddish, Poliwhirl, Meowth, Gyarados, Snorlax, Golbat, Butterfree, and Togepi who was the only Pokemon to receive a toy that isnt from the first generation of Pokemon.\r

Three variations of a plush Pikachu were made and it was classified in its own category of talking. Each Pikachu variation said its name in a slightly different way when its stomach was squeezed. Unfortunately, mine no longer talk but I believe one said Pikachu and the other Pika-Pika-Pika. You can tell the difference in the variations by the letters on the tags. \r

The next category of toys was my favorite. The Light ups. The charers available were Mew, Mewtwo, Gengar, Raichu, and Charmander. These toys have a switch on them that when turned on, lights up the toy. Its too bad these toys were designed so you cannot replace the batteries so mine no longer light up.\r
\r
The fourth category is Key Chains and there were lots of charers made in this style including Geodude, Hitmonlee, Sandshrew, Nidorino, Cubone, Vileplume, Sandslash, Nidoking, Nidoqueen, Dragonite, Kangaskhan, Electabuzz, and Muk.\r
\r
The round Pokemon were converted into Rev Top toys that spin like tops. The charers in this style are Graveler, Golem, Koffing, Venonat, Tangela, Jigglypuff, Chansey, Voltorb, Clefairy, , Diglett, Magnemite, and Ditto.\r
\r
Many of the water type Pokemon received squirter toys that can spray a stream of water including: Poliwrath, Seadra, Psyduck, Poliwag, Kabuto, Tentacruel, Squirtle, Blastoise,and Shellder. Most of these toys are a soft vinyl but Blastoise and Shellder are hard plastic with a button.\r

The final category of the toys is Launchers. The charers in this style are Nidoran, Arcanine, Slowpoke, Lapras, Tauros, Rhyhorn, Venusaur, Bulbasaur, and Rapidash. The launchers came in two styles with some Pokemon firing from a Pokeball and others from what looks like the cloning machine.\r

All of the toys were packaged in opaque plastic so you couldnt see which Pokemon figure you received. The majority of the toys came with a regular Pokeball, but the size of the Pokeball varied. The ball splits in half and and has a clip. Instead of a Pokeball, Mew came with a Pink Orb. Mewtwo came with a tank.\r

All of the toys also came with a card featuring one of the original 151 Pokemon. Burger King also had sheets of cards that you could select instead of a toy. Each sheet comes with 9 cards and there were 20 different sheets. The cards from the sheets are a lower quality than those included in the toy packaging and if you separate the cards, youre left with the rough perforated edge.\r

Hello and welcome to Lego Loft. Im stacks and today weve been to the LEGO Store to buy some more Lego! Weve had another trip to the LEGO Store and weve picked up not one, not two, not three but four pick a brick cups and weve also got a build a minifigure pack and one of these pirate sets, thats our second one. In 1. So this is Pipers first cup. Ill get these pieces out, lets see what hes got. Stay on the table, please stay on the table Lego. Right, I instructed piper to get me plenty of roof slopes cause I like building roofs out of roof slopes. We only got them in 2 by 4, theres no smaller ones or corner pieces which is a bit annoying. I want more variety, come on Lego Store. Weve got them in red and black. I saw these green bricks and I like this green colour. I though Im going to build a green wall, I said Piper, get me some of them green pieces He got 4. Thats going to be a really small wall. We go some of these tail fins for planes. He got trans yellow studs and 1 by 1 trans clear plates. Lets get it in the box. Tidy up. I hope all you kids at home tidy your Lego when youre finished playing with it, that means you should never tidy it because you should never finish playing with it. You should always play with your Lego, I do. In 2. This is my selection of Lego elements. Ive got some green plates. What else? I see some yellow jumpers. I can see some big bricky bits, light blue 2 by 4 bricks. Also white orange and red. We got 1 by 4 brown brick. 2 by 2 tan and orange tiles. Plates here, 2 by 8 plate. 1 by 8 tile in red. White grate bits, theyre Gr-r-reat. Number 3. Pipers second lot of Lego. This one looks like its gonna be messy. Orange tiles again. Its going everywhere, careful! Stay put Lego. Dont roll off the table. These cylinder pieces have a mind of their own. Are you staying still? Okay, theyre staying still, lets do it. Weve got these white fence pieces. Loads of studs. And finally. This is the last pick a brick cup of the day. Its got some sticky tape, get off of my fingers. Lets open it up. Weve got some 1 by 4 white arch pieces, but thats not all. Nice selection. White doors in frames. Flowers, white, red and pink and green stems. Im obsessed with 2 by 2 by 2 light grey slopes. More tan tile and 1 by 2 purple tiles. Green bumper pieces and 2 by 1 curved slopes. And wheel pieces. Did you know That LEGO are the worlds largest manufurer of tyres, thats crazy but awesome. Got some of these windscreen (windshield) pieces for cars. weve got a crate and inside Ive put some ruby red gemstones. Green headlight bricks and trans orange cheese slopes. This is all of the pick a brick haul. That is tons of Lego, fifty pounds worth. we only got 2 minifigures even though its a 3 pack. We were very naughty and stuffed loads of extra accessories in there hoping wed get away with it. We did get away with it I dont think they wanted to complain since we spent a lot of money. A top hat, some blue plates, stuck together heads. We wanted more faces. Weve got some seagulls, blond hair. A printed piece, I dont know what it is but I like printed pieces so I got it. A scorpion, frying pan, a long bone. Weve got a gold piece which is in the form of a crystal. We got goggles. Thrustmaster T500RS Sparco Racing Steering Wheel Upgrade - Hub Adapter
Time to upgrade the Obutto R3volution gaming platform by putting a new steering wheel on my Thrustmaster T500RS. I went with a Sparco street wheel because it has tons of padding and feel great in my hands. I used the T500AD adapter from DSD Technology Systems Corporation to adapt the 70mm bolt pattern of the wheel to the native hub based T500RS design. I obtained the wheel for $200 from 425 Motorsports in Bellevue, WA and I couldnt be happier with the end results!\r

•IGN 8/10 After playing Gran Turismo 5 with the Thrustmaster T500 RS, I never wanted to go back to a PlayStation DualShock controller. But the cost of the system makes it impossible to recommend to all but the most hardcore Gran Turismo 5 fanatics. If you are currently playing GT5 with a standard PlayStation 3 DualShock controller while rolling around on a pile of gold doubloons, then do yourself a favor and pick up a T500. But be warned -- youll need something sturdy to clamp it to. As much fun as it might sound to hold something called a Thrustmaster in your lap, its not going to work with this one. Overall, the Thrustmaster T500 RS is a great piece of hardware that does the GT5 name proud. It brings the track alive, but at a terrible price.\r
•Engadget 6/10 At $599 its awfully hard to recommend this wheel and pedal combination. The wheel itself has a magnificent feel thats beginning to knock on the door of much more expensive offerings like a Frex or ECCI, and the number of inputs makes managing button-happy cars easier. But, those buttons are hard to find while driving and the rubber coating feels unfortunately low-rent. The massive size of the thing makes it best suited for semi-permanent installations and the limited PS3 compatibility is, for the moment at least, a disappointment. Meanwhile the pedals are overkill yet underwhelming. Theyre heavy and wont go anywhere but all that weight feels excessive, unnecessary, and adorned with rubber feet that kept falling off. Not exly what youd expect for $599. Ultimately either the Logitech G27 or the Fanatec line of wheels offer nearly as good performance at a much more palatable cost -- and with designs less likely to give you a hernia when hauling about the house.\r
•VirtualR.net So, is the T500 RS as innovative as the long feature list and the rather hefty price tag of 499€/$599 suggests? In one word: Yes! Dont get fooled by the Gran Turismo badge, this wheel is most likely the most advanced product ever offered in this price range. The wheels precision is unmatched and the very strong & silent force feedback even edges out Fanatecs Turbo S wheel.I´ve reviewed quite a lot of wheels and I´ve never instantly clicked with a new product as I did with the T500 RS. Usually, it takes me a bit of time to get up to speed with a new wheel but the T500 RS gave me instant confidence thanks to the great force feedback and the overall amazing feel provided when driving. Sadly, the pedal unit falls a bit off in terms of features, a load-cell brake would have been a fitting feature to make the pedals match the wheel and make it easier for more professional racers to consider switching to the T500 RS. Thrustmaster has put together a wheel that can compete even with professional wheels from niche-manufurers that often sell for more than three times the price. And while some competitors might offer some features the T500 RS does not have (more expensive materials, a built-in display) the wheel is certainly the new benchmark in terms of precision, raw force feedback power and overall feel that will satisfy even the most demanding sim racers.\r
•Simulation World 94/100 This is an amazing product that really has targeted a market and a price point and hit a home run right away. They were a little hard to get hold of for a while but are now beginning to spring up in retail stores in the US and Europe. If in doubt, check Frys.com and amazon.com to see if they are in stock. If you have the cash and are looking to upgrade from a Logitech but cant stomach the price of a ECCI, then this is the wheel for you.
