Cass McCombs performed songs from his forthcoming album; Sharon Van Etten was showcasing tracks from her breakthrough Epic.
Cass McCombs rolled into our Lawn Party on Thursday with a stellar new set of music from his upcoming album Wit's End, due out next month on Domino. The lazy, dusty songs were the perfect tonic for a hot Texas afternoon, and the crowd greeted each tune like an old friend, and drank in the warm, wonderful vibes rippling off the stage.
Sharon Van Etten is coming off an incredible year that saw the Brooklyn bard's profile balloon.
