An electric battery is a device consisting of two or more electrochemical cells that convert stored chemical energy into electrical energy. Each cell has a positive terminal, or cathode, and a negative terminal, or anode. The terminal marked positive is at a higher electrical potential energy than is the terminal marked negative. The terminal marked negative is the source of electrons that when connected to an external circuit will flow and deliver energy to an external device. When a battery is connected to an external circuit, electrolytes are able to move as ions within, allowing the chemical reions to be completed at the separate terminals and so deliver energy to the external circuit. En el capítulo de hoy ya tenemos instalado todo el sistema en nuestra conversión del suzuki samurai a eléctrico, solo nos queda por instalar el "battery pack tracker"es el sistema que incluye un BMS además de un amperímetro, en los coches actuales es lo que mas se parece al EMS o "energy management system" este sistema gestiona la cantidad de voltaje que tienen las baterias asi como en la linea, y en su conjunto totalmente,temperatura de cada batería asi como del conjunto, tienen señales audibles que en el caso de superar el voltaje tanto en carga como en descarga y sus temperaturas "pitan" para ponerlo en nuestro conocimiento no olvidemos que las baterías de iones son muy delicadas y pueden estropearse en sus cargas y en sus descargas este tracker también cuenta con un amperímetro que es el que nos marcaría la cantidad de trabajo que desarrollan las baterías en este caso no tenemos voltímetro ya que nos interesa más bien el desarrollo de los acumuladores que el del propio motor, si tenemos en cuenta el trabajo que desarrollan los acumuladores ,y lo controlamos podremos desarrollar una conducción muy eficiente sin duda.

La compañía Ford ha presentado un coche completamente eléctrico inspirado en su modelo Mustang durante el salón del automóvil SEMA 2019 que se celebra en Las Vegas (EE.UU.) del 5 al 8 de noviembre, según recoge rt y comparte Vuelta Rápida GT para Periodista Digital.


Este Mustang Lithium posee un motor eléctrico de doble núcleo con más de 900 caballos de fuerza y, de manera poco habitual para un auto de este tipo, transmisión manual de seis cambios, informa SlashGear.

El cupé funciona gracias a una batería de la empresa Webasto que tiene 800 voltios y un torque superior a 1.000 libras por pies que le permite una "impactante aceleración de un cuarto de milla".

Ese vehículo tiene un aspecto bastante parecido al Mustang GT, salvo por su falda lateral, su difusor trasero de fibra de carbono y su capó con vidrios transparentes de policarbonato.

Asimismo, esta versión está algo más cerca del suelo y cuenta con ruedas que poseen un ancho escalonado de 20 pulgadas vestidas en neumáticos Michelin Pilot Sport 4S, reporta Car and Driver.

En su interior cuenta con detalles azul eléctrico y un tablero con pantalla táctil de 10,4 pulgadas cuya interfaz permite cambiar entre cuatro modos de conducir gracias a la alteración del torque.

De momento resulta imposible comprar este coche, ya que Ford ha dado a entender que se trata de un prototipo que ha diseñado especialmente para esta edición de SEMA con vistas a promocionar sus esfuerzos en el ámbito de los vehículos electricos antes de presentar su nuevo todoterreno —también inspirado en el Mustang— el próximo 17 de noviembre.

The wildest AMG drops its top and adds a higher-horsepower variant.

It's kind of a no-brainer, adding a convertible version of the Mercedes-AMG GT. Its predecessor, the SLS, was offered as a roadster, and Mercedes-Benz has a long tradition of open sports cars. Indeed, an AMG GT roadster was ready for production some time ago. Part of what has kept the company from launching it earlier was concern that it would hurt sales of the Mercedes-Benz SL. Maybe it will. But now it's here: Meet the AMG GT roadster—and its wilder derivative, the AMG GT C roadster.

The roofectomy works well, because the AMG GT was designed from the outset to be a roadster. The compact, muscular rear end works well with the long hood and the low profile. This is a sports car that evokes classic roadsters of the 1950s and ’60s.

The AMG GT roadster comes in two versions: There's a standard GT, rated at 469 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque; it charges from zero to 60 mph in a claimed 3.9 seconds and tops out at a governed 188 mph; above that, AMG is launching a new power and equipment level, the GT C, which sits above the GT S but below the GT R versions of the coupe. (Mercedes is mum on the subject of a GT C hardtop.) The GT C roadster makes 550 horsepower and 502 lb-ft of torque, it’s said to hit 60 mph in 3.7 seconds, and the governor is reprogrammed to 196 mph. We suspect AMG wants to save the 200-plus-mph software for a Black Series version, which is sure to hit showrooms eventually. All AMG GT models are powered by the same twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8, internally code-named M178.

The roadster sits atop the same chassis that forms the basis of the remarkably capable AMG GT coupe. The GT C further adds to its capabilities by fitting a number of enhancements that surpass even the GT S coupe, because they’re taken from the GT R. They include rear-wheel steering, which turns the rear wheels in the opposite direction of the front wheels at lower speeds, and in the same direction at 62 mph and above, to enhance agility and high-speed stability.

The GT C roadster also comes with an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, whereas the regular GT roadster lacks that feature. The gearing of the GT C’s seven-speed dual-clutch automatic is revised, and the drive mode selector offers an additional Race mode. A lithium-ion battery saves valuable pounds. And perhaps most obviously, the AMG GT C roadster is wider—by a whopping 2.3 inches. The wider rear track enables cornering-enhancing wider tires, and it lends a distinct look to this most extreme of AMG roadsters.

Up front, both the roadsters are fitted with the new Panamericana grille first seen on the GT R. It is part of a front fascia that includes active aero elements. Eventually the GT and GT S hardtops will receive the new front end as well.

Pricing is yet to be announced, but the base roadster is sure to exceed the standard coupe’s tariff of $112,125. And with the GT S hardtop at $132,125, the GT C convertible could be in the $150K neighborhood. We expect the new model to appear at dealerships by fall 2017.
