"Queen of the Longest Legs" helped kick off Guinness World Records Day in New York's Times Square on Monday (November 10).

Sony has debuted the first official trailer for The Karate Kid remake starring Jaden Smith as the kid and Jackie Chan as Mr. Han, the Mr. Miyagi like mentor he meets.
The Karate Kid, directed by Harald Zwart (The Pink Panther 2), stars Jaden Smith, Jackie Chan, and Taraji P. Henson. Smith plays Dre, a skateboarding video game buff who moves to China after his single mother is forced to go there for work. Unable to speak Chinese, Dre finds it hard to settle in, and gets beat up by the local bully. Chan plays Mr. Han, a maintenance man who spots his black-eye and offers to teach him both martial arts and Chinese, so he can defend against all the kung-fu students. Sony is bringing The Karate Kid to theaters starting on June 11th, 2010 this summer. Will you be seeing this in theaters next year or not?

The Vince Lombardi trophy isn't the only thing at stake when the New England Patriots face the New York Giants in Super Bowl XLVI. This year, like every year, advertisers will be vying for the hearts and smiles of the big game's equally big television audience with a slew of big-budget commercials.

The ever-growing average cost of a 30-second spot during this year's Super Bowl is valued at $3.5 million, and viewers have come to demand a commensurate entertainment experience. Product-makers haven't let them down much in the past, what with talking frogs from Budweiser, a talking baby from E*trade, and of course a little old lady who couldn't seem to find the beef, courtesy of Wendy's.

But which ads will America and the rest of the world be talking about the Monday after this year's Super Bowl? Viewers got a sneak peak last week when Volkswagen released an online preview ad featuring a choir of dogs barking to the tune of "The Imperial March" from Star Wars. It's the car maker's second commercial based on the epic sci-fi film series. A spot starring a pint-sized Darth Vader was a hit with viewers last year.

It is the day after Christmas and already a racy photo is a top searched term. But this time people aren't searching for a young starlet. It is actress Helen Mirren, 66, and still gorgeous, who people are searching for.

Mirren went topless for a Juergen Teller shoot for New York magazine, for a story with the headline 'Madam Helen.' Underneath the headline is a quote that read, "I'm still the good girl who wants to be a bad girl..."

Mirren was promoting her new movie "Love Ranch" at the time. In that movie, which was directed by her husband, Taylor Hackford, Mirren played Grace Botempo, the madam of a seventies Reno whorehouse. The film was based on Nevada's real Mustang Ranch.

The article noted that when Mirren's husband tried to convince her to spend a night at the Mustang Ranch, she refused.

"I said, 'Read my lips: I'm not going to spend a night in a brothel,'" Mirren spoke of the incident.

The article read that Mirren dispensed with research and took direction.

"It's amazing how quickly you get into dildos everywhere and pink-feather handcuffs," she told the magazine. "Within an hour you're completely used to it."

The story is full of positive messages and is generally very sweet (if not a bit saccharine). The app also contains a few games along the way (mazes and spot-the-difference puzzles), which reward kids with new words they can use in a Mad Libs type story-building game at the end. \r

As a storybook app, MY LITTLE PONY: TWILIGHT SPARKLE, TEACHER FOR A DAY is a good read-along tale, but offers very little in the way of interivity. There is, at most, one hotspot per page, and it usually triggers something small like blinking eyes or a puff of sparkles. Luckily, there are tilt-controlled mazes and spot-the-difference puzzles sprinkled in there as well. Theyre fun, as is the fill-in-the-blank story at the end. Although, if you really want to enjoy that Mad Libs-style ivity you will need to play through the story many times, since those only get you four words each time.
