Spanish police arrest 3 suspected of convincing man to join terror group in Syria

Madrid, May 7 (EFE).- Spanish police have arrested three Moroccan men on the Canary island of Tenerife suspected of having captured and sent a man to Syria to join the ranks of the Nusra Front terror organization.
According to Spain's interior ministry, the trio captured a 35-year-old Moroccan man at an internet cafe and mosque they frequented.
The group allegedly introduced the man to Salafi extremism, persuaded him to travel to Syria in 2013, and, upon his return to Tenerife in a small boat in 2015 after having lost his left hand, helped him to get to Central Europe using forged documents, until he was arrested in Budapest.
Spain's authorities carried out the operation in collaboration with Europol.

Man killed outside British school in Madrid after being shot at least 10 times

Madrid, Mar 12 (EFE).- A man was shot at least 10 times and killed on a road just outside the British Council School in Madrid on Monday by unknown assailants who fled immediately after the incident, regional emergency services said.
Sources close to the investigation told EFE that the victim, a 43-year-old, was in a car with a woman, who was described as being of Colombian nationality and his partner, after dropping one or more children off at a school in Pozuelo de Alarcón, an affluent suburb to the west of the Spanish capital, when he was attacked.
"We can confirm the death of a 43-year-old man in Pozuelo," the Madrid regional emergency services said on Twitter. "He has at least 10 gunshot wounds," the statement said.
An investigation was launched by the national police after witness evidence pointed to two men on a motorcycle who were believed to have been behind the shooting.
According to security sources, witnesses saw a man riding pillion on the back of the motorcycle fire multiple times at the victim before the pair rode off.
The victim was reportedly able to leave his car but died on the road almost immediately, while his partner was left unharmed.
Investigators are now establishing whether the witness testimonies can be confirmed and gathering evidence to determine what happened, EFE was told.

Rio de Janeiro, Jul 26 (EFE).- "Funk carioca," a stigmatized dance form associated with the lowest socioeconomic strata in Brazil, has become a weapon of empowerment for women in their efforts to combat discrimination and violence.
Taisa Machado, an actress, dancer and instructor of funk carioca, which originated in Rio de Janeiro and has spread to several regions of Brazil and even Argentina, has chosen "pleasure and freedom" as slogans for the classes she teaches in the bohemian Rio neighborhood of Lapa.
"Women come here and are able to tap into their sensuality. Funk is not easy, but dancing and feeling powerful become inevitable. Within that universe, I see that my white students experience that aspect of their bodies with more freedom than the women from the district I come from," she told EFE.
The social stigma attached to funk carioca is "the criminalization of poverty and a reflection of racism," the 30-year-old Machado said.

1. The planning takes more than three months...
2. All invitation cards share this very important phrase: "no phones, no pictures and no children."

On this night I wasnt feeling good and almost fell off a bar stool at one of the open fronted bars. So I made a quick exit with just a couple of random shots from the Queen Vic and the street.\r

However one thing bugs me about this bar. Im always curious as to why they use either old or overweight ladies as the promo girls. Its much better to have a system like the Skyfall bar where they rotate some of the best lookers outside to bring in the customers :)\r

Many of the ladies are fair skinned and have had cosmetic surgery on their noses to make them appeal to these mainly Japanese and Korean customers. Marriage is usually initiated by a proposal of marriage, simply called "a proposal". In a heterosexual relationship, the man traditionally proposes to the woman and the actual proposal often has a ritual quality, involving the presentation of a ring (an engagement ring) and the formalized asking of a question such as "Will you marry me?" The man may even go down on one knee before proposing. If the proposal is accepted, the couple become engaged.

In the United Kingdom, the engagement ring is worn, by the woman, on the third finger of the left hand (the ring finger).

In the UK the 29th of February (in a leap year) is said to be the one day (coming round only once every four years) when a woman can propose to her partner.

It is usual for a couple to be engaged for a while before they get married. An engagement is actually an agreement or promise to marry, and also refers to the time between proposal and marriage. During this period, a couple is said to be affianced, engaged to be married, or simply engaged.

A man who is engaged to be married is called his partner's fiancé; a woman similarly engaged is called her partner's fiancée.

Once a wedding date has been set the banns of marriage, commonly known simply as "the banns" (from an Old English word meaning "to summon") are announced. This is a notice, usually placed in the local parish church or registery office, which tells everyone that a marriage is going to take place between two people.

The purpose of banns is to enable anyone to raise any legal problems as to why the two people shouldn't get married, basically it is to prevent marriages that are legally invalid. A few months back I showed you some solid evidence about an ancient Giant called Bhima in India. In that video, I mentioned how I had accidentally stumbled on a footprint of another Giant. Here is a little piece.\r

Could this be Bhimas footprint? The locals here claim that it is NOT the footprint of Bhima, but belongs to his half-brother Hanuman, who also happens to be a Giant. This footprint is more than 4 feet long and if it is real, the giant who made this impression would be over 30 feet tall.\r

So how did I come up with this height of over 30 feet? I calculated \r
this based on something called a “height to foot” ratio. So who is this Hanuman that we are talking about? Hanuman is a giant Ape like God who appears in ancient Indian scriptures.\r

The sensational discovery of a skeleton believed to be that of a prehistoric giant ape, measuring 31 ½ feet in length, is reported from Jubbulpore. \r

Here is another newspaper called THE VIRGIN ISLANDS DAILY NEWS which published a short version of this news. The size, the location it was discovered all the same.\r

And also from another newspaper called THE SYDNEY MAIL. Again just different words, but the news is the same. \r

Remember, these are just a few examples and this same news was published all around the world in many languages that a giant prehistoric ape was found in Jabalpur district, India. Is it possible that this is the skeleton of Hanuman?\r

Some Hindu and Jain sects believe that Hanuman was not a real ape but a human like giant with slight physical variations. Now, all over the world other giants have been found with variations in their facial features including elongated skulls, horns and double rows of teeth. So who are these Giants? Sacred texts from many ancient civilizations, describe these Giants as hybrids between Gods and Humans. In the bible, they are called Nephilim. Hanuman can also be classified as a Nephilim because his father was a god and his mother was human. \r

Now according to Hindu scriptures, Hanuman was not the only Giant that looked like an ape, but a whole race of giant apes called Vanara was documented. Is it possible that this huge skeleton is one of these ape-like Gods? \r

Now, the other important question is: What happened to this skeleton? Where did this skeleton go? Today, we are not able trace the whereabouts of this 32 feet skeleton anywhere. Since India was under British control at that time, this priceless evidence was possibly taken to England along with many other rare artifs. \r
