En una entrevista con Efe con motivo de su concierto en la sala Heineken, en Madrid, Dan Whitford -líder del grupo- ha citado a Talking Heads, Liquid Liquid o Happy Mondays entre las muchas influencias sobre las que han construido este álbum.

Grabado en un "espacio industrial" de Melbourne, la producción ha añadido un sonido "más orgánico" a los efectos electrónicos característicos de esta banda, formada además por Tim Hoey, Mitchell Scott y Ben Browning.
