Learning to drive in a manual car? Want to know when to change gears in a stick shift? This video might help. When to change gear in a manual car can start off being a bit tricky. The best way to know when to change up gears in a stick shift is when the engine sound is louder and it sounds like its working too hard. When to change down gear is once youve slowed down, the engine starts to struggle and it makes a lower sound or when you stop and need to go again (always move off in 1st gear).\r

How to change gears in a manual/stick shift car:\r
When changing up gear you would normally come off gas, press down the clutch, change gear, release the clutch gently and then back on gas.\r

To change down gear try using a slight amount of gas as you raise the clutch as this can result in a smooth gear change. \r

When to change down gear in a manual car:\r
You would normally have to change down gears once you have slowed down and then youd have to change to a gear that matched your speed or you could change down if you need more power to overtake. You can also block gear change, for example 3rd to 1st. It basically means skipping gears. Its possible to do this changing up gear as long as you have enough speed for that gear.\r

When to change up gears in a manual car:\r
Speed up first and build up momentum and then you can change gear. Over revving your car can use up more fuel. If youre going uphill or you have extra weight in your car then make sure that you speed up a little extra first before changing up gears.\r

You can stop in any gear, but if you want to move off again then make sure youre in 1st gear or the car could stall (switch off).\r

Make sure youre prepared for whats ahead in in the correct gear. If youre about to turn or go onto a roundabout then slow down and change down gear before.\r

Low gears are best for steep hills as offer the most amount of torque. If youre driving uphill then make sure you speed up and build up momentum before changing up gear or the car will slow down and possibly stall.\r

Flight Attendants Demonic

As an American Airlines plane taxied for takeoff at Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport on Friday morning, a flight attendant ranted on the plane's intercom, repeatedly telling passengers that she was not responsible for the safety of the plane and wrestling with another flight attendant for control of the plane's public address system, according to a passenger on the flight.

Airline and government officials confirmed the disruption on American Airlines Flight 2332, which forced the plane to return to the gate and led to two flight attendants being taken to the hospital.

Several passengers restrained the disruptive attendant, said Laurie Grabe, a Traverse City, Michigan, woman who witnessed the event from her ninth-row seat.

She said that as the plane was taxiing for takeoff, she and other passengers first heard the flight attendant on the intercom sounding disgruntled and alluding to unsuccessful efforts to talk to the pilots.

The flight attendant said, "OK, if you don't hear me, then I give up. I'm not responsible if this plane crashes." She also "said something about opening the doors."

At first, "everybody was laughing because it sounded like she (had) accidentally turned on" the intercom, Grabe said.

Then, other flight attendants intervened, "telling her to turn off the PA, not to talk like that," she said.

"Everybody was starting to look at each other, like 'Oh, my God, What's going on here?' "

When other flight attendants started wrestling for control of the microphone, several passengers joined in, Grabe said. They "threw her into the first row of seats and held her down."

DIY ROOM DECOR! Desk decorations! Cheap & cute projects!

Hi guys! So for this week I decided to take a break from my Christmas videos. I was trying to spice up a little bit my desk area so I made some really simple DIYs that I think are ually great for any room. So I hope you find them useful and lets get started!\r
\r
For the first DIY you will need: a book, some fabric and some supplies.\r
\r
Start off by marking a rectangular shape on the first page of the book. Then take a cuter or an X-o knife and start cutting the pages following the lines as Im doing here. And yes, this is a very long process so go watch your favoritewhile you do this so you dont get bored. And also once you get close to the end be careful so you dont cut the back cover like I did.\r
\r
Then take some plastic wrap and cover the front cover and the back. Now take some mod podge or white glue with a little bit of water and cover the inside of the pages and the sides. Place something heavy on top to make some pressure and let it dry for at least 5 hours.\r
\r
Once its dry remove the plastic and its time to decorate the book. I chose a white pleather fabric but you can also paint it or cover it in scrapbook paper. \r
\r
I placed a lot of double side tape to make sure the book stayed in place. To finish the spine part I just made some cuts and tug the fabric in and for the sides I cut the excess and stick it to the inside of the cover.\r
\r
Finally I glue the pages to the back cover to make the pocket. You can put whatever you want inside and I think it looks really nice on the side of my desk. \r
\r
The second idea is really simple and you will need: some cork and acrylic paint.\r
\r
Start off by using something round to make some circles on the cork. Then cut them out and use something smaller to make the donut holes. Before painting I made some guides with pencil and then I painted the coaster pink as it was the icing of the donut. Once thats dry paint some sprinkles with the help of a toothpick and to make it waterproof cover everything with white glue. I also outline the icing part with a silver marker to make it pop a little more. And thats it! This coasters are super simple to make and they are also a really nice gift idea. \r

For the last idea you will need: some wooden letters and some glitter.\r
\r
Start by sticking some tape on the middle of the letters. As you see, Im using one of them as a guide to make sure I place the tape on the same place for all the letters. Then I just cover the bottom half with white glue and sprinkle some glitter. Take out the excess and use that to cover any blank spots. I put two coats of glitter and before the glue dried I took out the tape. Do this for all the letters and let them dry. I hung them on my wall forming the word “create” but of course you can put whatever word you want.\r

Biggest Lego Star Wars MOC Base on Mygeeto (Clone Wars Era)

LEGO Star Wars MOC Battle of Mygeeto during the Clone Wars. Mygeeto is an ice planet depicted in the third Star Wars film: Revenge of the Sith, during the Order 66 scene. It is the scene where Commander Bacara (CC-1138) and his Galic Marines turn on Jedi Master and Counsel-member Ki-Adi-Mundi and kill him. This LEGO project took around one year to complete. It contains Over 15,000 LEGO bricks and measures 3.5 x 5 x3.5. It was a blast to film and build and I look forward to sharing it with you! I would be more than happy to answer any questions you may have regarding the build or the scene in general, just ask in the comments section. - Backstory for the MOC scene - \r
This LEGO MOC scene takes place in the early days of the battle on the ice planet Mygeeto. As you probably already know the battle was depicted in part during Star Wars Episode İ: Revenge of the Sith towards the start of the scene where all of the clone troopers receive order 66 from chancellor Palpatine, who was then ing as emperor. Many do not know however, that this battle had already been going on for two years before order 66 was issued. My moc aims to capture the earliest days of republic occupation on Mygeeto.\r

The Intergalic Banking Clan and Separatist army have taken control of the majority of the outer rim planet and are harvesting its many resources for evil uses. Resources on the planet include various crystals and gems that can be used to power weapons for either side. Republic troops have just entered the system and are attempting to establish footholds from which to operate from. Grand Jedi Master Ki-Adi-Mundi and his 21st Nova Corps. Led by Clone commander Bacara, have yet to be dispatched to the battlefield. For the time being, command of the Republic effort lies with a young Jedi knight named Eon and his phase II clone troopers. Phase II armor is new for the clones and is quickly proving far superior to the phase I armor. Also Eon is new to battle, but is quickly proving to be a skilled warrior as he leads his troopers across one of the many structurally damaged Mygeetian bridges towards a nearby mineral refinery. Separatists have seen this attack coming, so they are well dug in and prepared and have many super battle droids with them as well as a Tri-Droid. Luckily the republics new UT-AT or Unstable Terrain Artillery Transport is a good match for the separatist firepower. Suspender high in the air, there is no room for retreat for either the republic or separatist forces.\r

Lithuania has certainly had a rough past, being both occupied by the Nazi during World War II and then by the brutal Soviets not long after. The lithuanians originally constructed a fort and was put to use at the beginning of world war I which which is still standing now. During World War II, after the Nazis occupied the area it was used as a holding ground for people of Jew ish descent and as stronghold against the soviets. It got nicknamed the “fort of death” for its brutal conditions and then, it was reused by the soviets! Once they had control of the area, it was reused as a prison and a holding ground for political prisoners. The place is now abandoned but with its rough past, it certainly has to be haunted.\r

5. Monument to the Victims \r
Now you know the story of the creepy fort, you can begin to understand importance of this monument located just outside the fort near the city of Kaunas. Many graves of the people who lost their lives there went unmarked and no is too sure where they are. But this strange looking monument was erected to those perished under the deplorable conditions nonetheless. It was erected in 1984 by the remaining Jewish community of Kaunas. The Jewish community of this city town was hit pretty hard after the war and its still difficult to see much traces of them left in the country. This was designed by the sculptor Ambraziunas and stands about 105 feet high. Its hard to tell exly what the monument portrays. You can make out a few face but you can use your imagination on this one\r

4. Grutas Park Bunker\r
We couldnt cover all the crazy places at the Grutas park before and this creepy bunker pretty much deserves its place on the list. This strange tourist attrion gets even weirder, when participants role play as political prisoners and are escorted into an old soviet bunker. The role playing prisoners are dressed up in gulag outfits and escorted downstair. We at least hope this is just roleplay! The soviet officers are wearing authentic gear as well and they try to put them through the psychological torment of whatd it be like to be a prisoner, sounds fun right?! This woman here is signing her make believe confession to crimes against the glorious union.\r

3. Plokstine Missile Silo\r
With Lithuania being strategically located on the western part of the Soviet Union, this made a it an ideal location to place a few nuclear weapons. In 1959, they began to construct the Plokstine Missile Silo that would be capable of prically wiping London and a lot of Great Britain off the map. This is located in a forest near Plateliai Lake This would be able to store an R-12 nuclear missile, the same kind that was made famous during the cuban missile crisis. The site was shut down after the collapse of the soviet union and luckily it was never put to use. Locals restored the apocalyptic site so Tourists, can still walk through the creepy looking tunnels of the bunker.\r

2. Vilnius Old Town\r
Instead of going through the hassle to build a machine to visit the medieval times, you can go back in time by seeing the largest best preserved old town in Northern Europe! It takes up over 70 streets and features 1487 medieval buildings in Vilnius. It features many architectural styles such gothic, baroque and medieval influences. This is where youll find some of their old defensive structures such as the Vilnius Castle Complex which was functioning from the 10th to the 18 century! You could spend all day here visiting well preserved historical monuments but dont forget to see the Gate of Dawn which served as the city gate into this unforgettable capital. \r

1.Hill of Crosses\r
Located not far from the town of Siauliai in Northern Lithuania youll come across one of the countrys most well-known but somewhat strange landmark. It might look like an overcrowded cemetery but its not. The history behind this place dates back to the 14th century when crosses were brought here in order to express desire for Lithuanian Independence. In Palos Verdes, California in February of 2016, a driver of a Lexus lost control of his car and hit two cars before ending his drive on the roof of someones house. Unfortunately, the roof and the car sustained damage; however, the driver suffered minor injuries. The cause of the crash was a medical condition of the driver.\r

In London in February 2008, a double-decker bus underestimated itself when it tried to drive through a low bridge. The bus lost its top half and 15 people were hurt or suffered shock from the incident; however, no one was seriously injured. \r

A driver lost control and crashed his car into an unsuspecting house in Lowestoft, Suffolk, the UK on March 24th, new. The car ended up at about 4 feet off the ground.
