Video of an attempted catching of a giant baby Huntsman spiderman, its the beginning of mating season and the male spiders are out looking for a mate. Dare say the record breaking rains and floods which have affected eastern Australia has the spiders looking for a dry place to live.\r

As suggested by many people to catch house spiders I tried the vacuum cleaner and failed as the spider escaped the dust collection area. It was 11pm at night my daughter just wanted the spider delt with, sadly this spider never stood a chance but became a meal for the native birds.\r

This young male spider was out for a big night but found big daddy instead..! \r
