Lord Ganesha also known as Ganapati and Vinayaka is a widely worshipped deity in the Religion of Hindu. Ganesha is widely revered as the remover of obstacles. Son of Lord Shiva and Parvathi, Ganesha is the Lord of success and destroyer of evils and obstacles. As the god of beginnings, he is honoured at the start of any rituals and ceremonies. Lord Ganesha has got a significance head -- an elephant head. Here is the story how he got elephant head. Parvathi, in the absence of Shiva created Ganesha to guard her quarters while taking bath. Shiva returned to quarters to see Parvathi. Ganesha stopped him at the entrance. Being humiliated by a small boy Shiva in a rage severed Ganeshas head. Later he restored his life and provided him with an elephant head because it was the only animal sleeping facing north. To pacify Parvathi, he made Ganesha the Lord of Beginning. Those who worship Lord Ganesha will be successful in life because he removes all the obstacles and blesses his devotees.\r

Vamana (Devanagari: वामन, IAST: Vāmana, lit. dwarf) is described in the Puranas as the fifth avatar of Vishnu, and the first incarnation of the Second Age or Treta yuga.\r

Aditi took Payovrata to propitiate Lord Vishnu. As a result, Vamana was born to Aditi and Kashyapa.He is the twelfth of the Adityas.\r
\r
The Bhagavata Purana describes that Vishnu descended as the Vamana avatar to restore the authority of Indra over the heavens, as it had been taken by Mahabali, a benevolent Asura King. Bali was the great grandson of Hiranyakshipu, the grand son of Prahlada and son of Virochana.\r
\r
Vamana, in the guise of a short Brahmin carrying a wooden umbrella, went to the king to request three paces of land. Mahabali consented, against the warning of his guru, Sukracharya. Vamana then revealed his identity and enlarged to gigantic proportions to stride over the three worlds. He stepped from heaven to earth with the first step, from earth to the netherworld with the second. King Mahabali, unable to fulfill his promise, offered his head for the third.\r
\r
Vamana then placed his foot and gave the king immortality for his humility. He was also allowed to return every year to see the citizens of his country. The festival of Onam for some and first day of Diwali for some is related to this return of Mahabali.\r
\r
Mahabali is seen as a symbol of prosperity and love. In worshiping Mahabali and his ancestor Prahláda, he conceded sovereignty of Pátála, the netherworld. Some texts also report that Vamana did not step into the netherworld, and instead gave its rule to Bali. In giant form, Vamana is known as Trivikrama.\r

யானை முகம் வந்த கதை | How Lord Ganesha got Elephant Head- Ganesha Stories-Hindu Mythology

Lord Ganesha was created by Godess Parvati to guard her abode. Lord Shiva tried to enter her palace only to be stopped by Ganesha. The enraged Shiva beheaded Ganesha. Parvati who learnt that his son has been slained got furious and began to destroy the world. Lord shiva pacified Parvathi by promising to revive Ganesha and ordered his ganas to bring a head of an animal which is sleeping facing north. The ganas brought a head of an elephant which was placed on Ganeshas body and Lord Shiva revived him.\r

About Sooryagayathri: \r
\r
Sooryagayathri is a 9 year old kiddie who hails from Vadakara, a small town ship in Kozhikode district, Kerala, India. Her ability to replicate the musical nuances effortlessly makes her special. Her parents Sri P.V.Anilkumar who is a leading Mridangam player in Kerala and her mother Smt Divya has been supporting Soorya in her musical journey. She learns music from Sri Nishanth and Smt Anandi. Sooryagayathri is a 5th grade student in Narikkunnu U.P.School. \r

Interesting stuff about the recording:\r
\r
* We never hired a single person for this venture!\r
* Fed up of depending others especially the so-called bureaucrats in the field, I decided to do everything myself! And have been learning each and every thing for last few years to become self-dependent!\r
* I composed and recorded it in my voice first, including Sooryas portion and sent it to her 10 days before and She learnt it listening to it! The nuances were corrected over the phone!\r
* Soorya came to Chennai from Vadakara, Kerala where she hails from, to record this stuff.\r
* In this video, I myself did the singing, playing harmonium, recording, arrangement, orchestration, mixing and video editing too! Got the help from Ganapathy sir for playing Tabla.\r
* Interestingly, the video shoot was done with my iPhone, Thanks to Apple! I purchased a 300 led light from the market! Sooryas mom Divya is now an expert in lighting and Sooryas father P V Anilkumar on the camera! After each portion of video shoot, we were transferring it on to the iMac and checking the details! I was forced to learn video editing and now can really manage the stuff!\r
* We had a blast doing the recordings and shoot. Each and every nuances were taken care, especially the syncs! \r
I was pretty particular about the simplification of the music to make it enjoyable to all the listeners. Thats why we chose Jai Ganesha as refrain!\r
* Sooryagayathri is a girl who is attachedly detached! Goddess is ing through her indeed! Love her so much! My facebook is flooded with comments and messages appreciating the 9 year old kiddie! \r
Now that, the trailer itself is a huge success we look forward to your support for the full version too!\r
* Our sole aim is to bring smile on your faces with some genuine spiritual music! Listen to it, enjoy the beauty in it and let this stuff make you experience the eternal PEACE in you!\r
