1. Download the latest Slim Bean ROM and Slim Bean GApps\r

2. Connect your Samsung Galaxy S2 via a microUSB to your computer and transfer the two downloaded zip files to your SD Card or Internal Storage, in this case -- Slim-i9100-4.2.2.build.4.2-OFFICIAL.zip and Slim_Gapps.4.2.2.build.4.2.zip\r

3. Turn off your Samsung Galaxy S2\r

4. Head over to Recovery Mode by pressing the Volume Up + Home Button + Power Button for 10 seconds. The Samsung Galaxy S2 Boot screen should blink twice.\r
\r
5. Once in Recovery Mode, select Install zip from Sdcard then Choose zip from Sdcard by pressing the Power/Lock Button. Look for the Slim Bean ROM ZIP file and install it. Give it a few minutes to install.\r
\r
6. Look for the Slim Bean GApps ZIP file and install it too. \r
\r
7. As you are coming from a different platform and ROM (In my case I was coming from the NeatROM Lite), one must do a Wipe Data/Fory Reset and a Wipe Cache Partition. Additionally, I suggest you do a Wipe Delvik Cache and Fix Permissions in the Advanced Menu.\r
\r
8. Head back to the Recovery Menu and select Reboot System Now.\r
\r
9. Give it a few minutes for it to bootup and youre done.\r

If your seagate hard disk not detected, first of all, power it on and listen to it with your ear right next to it. Does it spin?\r
\r
If not, then it would be for one of the 3 reasons. Seized motor, unparked heads, or dead PCB (printed circuit board). There are also things like dead preamp, but on most brands of drives it would not prevent the spin up process.\r
\r
I will begin with explaining what seized motor is. Seized motor on the hard drive is fairly common issue that you would find on Seagate hard drive generations 7200.8 7200.9 7200.10 7200.11 7200.12, as well as some hitachi/IBM 2.5” hard drives.\r
Seized motor would upon start up process with create a faint buzzing, and in some cases beeping sound. I would highly suggest that you seek professional help at this point. This is one of the most difficult tasks to perform on the hard drive, and without necessary equipment you will kill your hard drive in attempt to recover it.\r
\r
However, these sounds are identical to the ones that the sound would make when heads are not parked properly. All modern hard drives offer touchless heads technology, meaning that the heads are never suppose to come in cont with the disk surface. In the past 3.5” hard drives used to park heads closer towards the center of the drive, and they would land right onto the platter surface that had air pockets to prevent sticking. That technology slowly started to get outdated and less reliable than touchless, so now hard drives park heads on the external parking ramp. Touchless technology offers more durability for the heads when the drive is off power. If it is dropped external parking ramp, that suspends heads in the air, is much better option than having heads sit on the ual disk surface. (this section is best to be read on our blog page here because I have pictures explaining the difference)\r
\r
Unlike 2 issues above, dead PCB, will turn your drive completely silent. PCB failure would usually be caused by power surges, or plugging in a wrong external hard drive power supply. Dead PCB can be either replaced, or repaired on component level. Luckily, TVS Diodes would protect most hard drives PCBs for mishaps like this, so they need to be tested first. A transient-voltage-suppression (TVS) diode or thyrector is an electronic component used to protect electronics from voltage spikes induced on connected wires. Multimeter with continuity test option will quickly determine if you have a damaged diode or not. Ideally, if you detect the damaged diode it would need to be replaced with an identical one, but in our case since I just needed to recover the data from this external hard drive. After the failed diode was removed, clients drive began to spin and get detected by our imaging equipment.\r

4-Com o botão de diminuir o volume navegue até a opção Recovery e selecione-a com o botão de aumentar o volume; \r
5-Quando a recovery abrir(vai ficar só uma tela preta) aperte volume Down+Power de novo para liberar a recovery; \r
6-Com os botões de volume navegue até Apply update from SD Card; \r
7-Selecione o pacote de atualização baixado; \r
8-Aguarde a instalação terminar(Não se preocupe com a demora, isso leva de 10 à 15 minutos); \r
9-Dê um wipe data/fory reset; \r
10-Confirme navegando até a opção Yes; \r
11-Selecione a opção Rebot system now; \r
12-Seu aparelho estrá com a versão 5.0.1 oficial, o primeiro boot deve demorar, então não se preocupe(Se demorar mais de 10 minutos pressione o botão power até o aparelho reiniciar);\r

Restaurar tu dispositivo móvil puede ser muy útil por diversas razones:
-Si hemos comprado un móvil de segunda mano y queremos dejarlo limpio para configurarlo a nuestro gusto sin que aparezcan datos del dueño anterior.
-Por querer vender nuestro móvil antiguo y que no quede ningún dato personal.
-Porque el móvil no funciona correctamente debido a la gran cantidad de aplicaciones instaladas en el mismo.
El primer paso que hay que hacer es apagar por completo el móvil.
Para entrar en modo recovery hay que realizar una combinación sencilla de teclas. Esta combinación consiste en pulsar al mismo tiempo tres teclas.
(tecla de volumen arriba + tecla del menú /home +tecla de encendido)
Pulsaremos estas tres teclas unos segundos hasta que aparezcan unas letras azules.
Entrados en recovery , nos desplazaremos por el menú con la teclas del volumen. El menú esta en inglés pero a continuación explicaremos exactamente donde hay que colocarse en cada momento.
Localizaremos la opción (White data Factory reset), que significa restauración de fábrica, y seguidamente pulsaremos en “borrar datos”. Para la activación de la opción pulsaremos el botón de encendido.
Después veremos la palabra “YES”, “borrar datos de usuario”. Con todo esto daremos lugar a la activación de borrado automático del sistema al completo.
Seguidamente vamos a proceder a la reiniciación de nuestro android , para lo que tendremos que pulsar el botón “reboot system now”.
En este momento todos los datos se borrarán dejando así, el espacio limpio de fábrica. Esto lo dejará completamente preparado para comenzar a configurar de nuevo el móvil como cada uno quiera.

Step by step tutorial:\r
1. first copy cyanogenmod and gapps in your SD card in a folder.\r
2. next run odin as administrator and choose recovery.tar.\r
3. after that take your phone into downloading mode by pressing power key, menu key and volume down key at the same time after that press volume up to continue.\r
4. now connect your phone via usb.\r
5. after connecting your phone there will be blue color in odin indicating that your phone is connected.\r
6. after that press start. it will gonna take a little time and than it will going to show pass in odin after it shows pass disconnect your phone.\r
7. now press volume up menu key and power at the same time to take phone in to recovery mode.\r
8.now select wipe data/fory reset and press ok.\r
9. after that select wipe cache partition and press ok.\r
10. now select install zip and after that select install zip from SD card and select cyannogenmod .zip file and install.\r
11. After that again choose install zip and selct zip from sdcard and select gapps.zip from sd card and install it.\r
12.And after that you wanna reboot your phone \r

In this video tutorial I will show you how to upgrade or downgrade software with Odin on Samsung Galaxy G930F, G935F (Android 6.0.1).You can use this operation if you have various problems with the phone software.\r

With this method you can fix Dm verity verification failed!\r
To install firmware on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge with Odin you need a computer, internet connection, micro USB data cable, Odin 3.11.1 and the firmware that you want to install on your phone.\r
If you get the message FAIL is because you have the security patch level installed on your phone.So to pass the FAIL message you must enable the Developer Options in your menu and then turn on OEM unlock and USB debugging\r

How to update:\r
Go to and you must create an account. Search for your phone model then select your country and desired firmware and click on download button.\r
After the download is complete:\r
-Extr (unzip) the firmware file\r
-Download Odin v 3.11.1\r
-Extr Odin ZIP file\r

-Add the firmware file to AP / PDA\r
-Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked\r
-Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes\r
After the update is complete is good to do a HARD RESET or make a fory reset from phone settings to your phone!\r
