DIY Fizzing Bath Salts

Recipe:\r
1 cup baking soda\r
1/2 cup powdered citric acid\r
1/4 cup cornstarch\r
1 1/4 cups Epsom salt, divided\r
1 tsp buttercream fragrance oil\r
1 tsp warm vanilla sugar fragrance oil\r
1 tbsp olive oil\r
multicolored sprinkles (optional)\r

Directions: Mix the baking soda, cornstarch, citric acid and 1/4 cup Epsom salt in a plastic bowl. Create a well in the center of the mixture and add fragrance oils and olive oil. Mix into dry ingredients until mixture looks fluffy and well-blended. Add remaining Epsom salt and sprinkles and mix until homogenous. Store in an airtight container such as a jar or Ziploc bag.\r

Note: Some people have skin allergies to cornstarch. I have never had a problem, but please use at your discretion. You can easily substitute extra Epsom salt in for the cornstarch if you have this problem.\r

As hot as you can stand it is the rule. Experiment with the length of the foot bath up to 10 minutes. The water will cool significantly within 10 minutes. Longer and more frequent baths produce better results. This method is especially beneficial if you have type 2 diabetes with peripheral diabetic neuropathy.

Carreras Hándicap Los caballos tienen asignados un índice de hándicap, con puntos que se suman o restan según su resultado en las carreras. De esta forma, se establecen grupos en función de su índice de hándicap. Es un método para equilibrar el nivel de los caballos en las carreras. Las carreras hándicaps más prestigiosas son Elitloppet, Hambletonian y el American Prize. Carreras condicionales o condicionadas En ella se deben reunir requisitos especiales, el más habitual tiene que ver con la edad del equino.
Nursery: semejantes a las carreras de hándicaps pero para caballos de 2 años de edad.
Maiden: para caballos que nunca han ganado y habitualmente, también jóvenes, de dos o tres años.
Estas pruebas suelen estar divididas entre machos y hembras. Carreras de reclamo o Claimers No son las más exitosas, pero sí populares en Estado Unidos y algunos países de Latinoamérica, se llevan a cabo cada cierto tiempo. Son carreras condicionales o hándicaps, en las que los apostantes pueden “comprar” al jinete a un precio que se hace público antes de la competición.
