Kazakhstan opens 15th annual Eurasian Media Forum in Almaty
Almaty (Kazakhstan), May 23 (EFE).- Kazakhstan on Wednesday opened the XV Eurasian Media Forum under the theme "15 Years of Evolution: How the World is Changing and How the World Changes us," with a series of sessions chaired by leading figures in the media business.

Eurasian Media Forum in Kazakhstan tackles gender inequality, sexual abuse

Kazakhstan promotes Expo 2017 in Spain
Madrid, Jun 15 (EFE).- A Kazakh delegation headed by Deputy Foreign Minister and Expo 2017 Commissioner Rapil Zhoshybayev visited Madrid on Monday to promote the first edition of the fair to be held in a Eurasian Union country.

China, Kazakhstan on track with Modern Silk Road initiative
Davos (Switzerland), Jan 21 (EFE).- China's aim in developing the modern silk road -- part of its "One Belt One Road" initiative -- is to improve access to the European market, but is also an opportunity for Eurasian countries such as Kazakhstan.
Not only can Kazakstan benefit from transporting goods between the two regions, but other advantages will appear as China and develops industry along the Kazakh border, according to Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, the chairman of Dubai-based global sea terminal operator DP World.
