Caracas riot police faced off with protesters trying to march to a military complex that houses the defense ministry on Friday, May 26. Images circulated on social media showed heavy clashes as police fired tear gas to block the demonstrators.

Protesters, joined by retired military personnel, were heading to the Los Poceres complex, close to a major military base, to try to sway the military to join the opposition’s call for early elections.

According to local reports dozens of people were injured, many by tear gas inhalation.

Panasonic VT20 3D - SideBySide 3D doesn't work on VieraCast

This video shows how my brand new Panasonic VT20 3D TV doesn't work when the video source is internet. The problem affects to all Viera-cast content, so although the TV is sold as 3D, here you have an example with a video from YouTube (VieraCast). The source is clearly in side-by-side format, 16:9 (as this TV likes, since it is not able to re-scale videos... output format/resolution has to be exactly the input format)

As you can see, while playing this video, the source is side-by-side, but the 3D options available in the TV are: Automatic (it behaves like OFF), 2D -> 3D (simple 3D simulation... it still turns on 3D system: glasses, 3D effects, ...) and Original (again, behaves like OFF).

The 2D to 3D only generates 3D effect sending menus to foreground and image to background. Side-By-Side or Above-Below 3D options are not available in VieraCast mode, I understand that because of a bug in the firmware.

The title song of the new album is Because of You. Its said to be a shibuya-kei style song with an electropop feel. If your seagate hard disk not detected, first of all, power it on and listen to it with your ear right next to it. Does it spin?\r

If not, then it would be for one of the 3 reasons. Seized motor, unparked heads, or dead PCB (printed circuit board). There are also things like dead preamp, but on most brands of drives it would not prevent the spin up process.\r
\r
I will begin with explaining what seized motor is. Seized motor on the hard drive is fairly common issue that you would find on Seagate hard drive generations 7200.8 7200.9 7200.10 7200.11 7200.12, as well as some hitachi/IBM 2.5” hard drives.\r
Seized motor would upon start up process with create a faint buzzing, and in some cases beeping sound. I would highly suggest that you seek professional help at this point. This is one of the most difficult tasks to perform on the hard drive, and without necessary equipment you will kill your hard drive in attempt to recover it.\r
\r
However, these sounds are identical to the ones that the sound would make when heads are not parked properly. All modern hard drives offer touchless heads technology, meaning that the heads are never suppose to come in cont with the disk surface. In the past 3.5” hard drives used to park heads closer towards the center of the drive, and they would land right onto the platter surface that had air pockets to prevent sticking. That technology slowly started to get outdated and less reliable than touchless, so now hard drives park heads on the external parking ramp. Touchless technology offers more durability for the heads when the drive is off power. If it is dropped external parking ramp, that suspends heads in the air, is much better option than having heads sit on the ual disk surface. (this section is best to be read on our blog page here because I have pictures explaining the difference)\r
\r
Unlike 2 issues above, dead PCB, will turn your drive completely silent. PCB failure would usually be caused by power surges, or plugging in a wrong external hard drive power supply. Dead PCB can be either replaced, or repaired on component level. Luckily, TVS Diodes would protect most hard drives PCBs for mishaps like this, so they need to be tested first. A transient-voltage-suppression (TVS) diode or thyrector is an electronic component used to protect electronics from voltage spikes induced on connected wires. Multimeter with continuity test option will quickly determine if you have a damaged diode or not. Ideally, if you detect the damaged diode it would need to be replaced with an identical one, but in our case since I just needed to recover the data from this external hard drive. After the failed diode was removed, clients drive began to spin and get detected by our imaging equipment.\r

So, onto Indian Almond Leaves in the aquarium, mainly in freshwater shrimp tanks. I want to go over some quick points and cover them all in the video: origins of Indian almond leaves, their benefits and uses in the aquarium, how many to use for freshwater shrimp and how long the Indian Almond Leaves last. \r

First off, Indians Almond Leaves originated in South East Asia. They were originally used by betta breeders to condition them to spawn. They also used them in their hospital tanks to get the fish back to health. \r
\r
Now, what are Indian Almond Leaves used for. The uses are listed in order of importance in my opinion. \r
\r
The first most important use for Indian Almond Leaves in the aquarium is for trace minerals and other beneficial compounds. In nature, shrimp originate from slow moving river in forests. It is safe to say that leaves do fall into the the river and will decay over time. These leaves release tons of minerals and compounds into the river. In an aquarium, we use over filtered drinking water. Many trace elements are missing that shrimp need to thrive. By adding Indian Almond Leaves to the aquarium, the shrimp start to receive these necessary mineral and it opens the door to really allow them to thrive. \r

The second most important use for Indian Almond Leaves is for a natural food source for shrimp. Infusoria (micro-organisms) breakdown the leaf in the aquarium. This process usually takes a month to accomplish. The infusoria are a natural food source for shrimp and shrimplets (baby shrimp). Therefore, Indian Almond Leaves are essential to creating a stable environment for freshwater shrimp to breed. \r

Indian Almond Leaves are pumped full of anti-fungal properties to prevent die off in nature. These properties and compounds are believe to be released into the water column of an aquarium as the leaf breaks down. With that being said, many hobbyists (like myself) believe that Indian Almond Leaves help fight off berial and fungal infections in shrimp. \r

These three reason above are enough reason to begin using Indian Almond Leaves in your aquarium for freshwater shrimp. The leaves provide trace minerals and compound, a natural food source and provide anti-fungal an anti-berial properties to an aquarium. Although, this is not all they do: \r

Indian Almond leaves will also help to lower the ph of an aquarium. How much they lower ph depends on the level of kh (carbonate hardness) in the aquarium. The higher the kh, the harder it will be to lower the ph meaning itll take more leaves. \r

The only downfall to Indian Almond leaves is that they do change the color of the water to a tea color. Hobbyists that like clear water will not like this. Also, some find the leaves sore on the eye and do not prefer to use them for this reason. \r

The dosage of Indian Almond Leaves for shrimp tanks is simple, one leaf (6 to 8 in) per 20 gallons of water. Add a new leaf as one begins to decay. This will usually occur after 2-4 weeks. For larger tanks with higher loads of shrimp, add more leaves as necessary. \r

El canciller ha asegurado en su cuenta de Twitter que Irán ha recuperado varios fragmentos de la aeronave no tripulada de Estados Unidos que las Fuerzas Armadas persas derribaron este jueves, después de que violara el espacio aéreo iraní.

“Hemos recuperado fragmentos del dron militar de Estados Unidos en nuestras aguas territoriales, donde fue derribado”, dice Zarif en su tuit, y reitera que, en contra de lo que sostiene EE.UU., la aeronave fue abatida tras adentrarse en el espacio aéreo persa.

El ministro comparte además las coordenadas exactas del incidente e imágenes que muestran su trayectoria de vuelo; también corrobora información difundida antes, según la cual el Northrop Grumman RQ-4 Global Hawk hizo su recorrido desde el despegue “en modo oculto” , es decir, con los radares y el transpondedor apagados.

“A las 00:14 el dron estadounidense despegó de los Emiratos Árabes Unidos (EAU) en modo oculto y violó el espacio aéreo iraní”, señala Zarif, que en un mensaje de poco antes reitera que Irán seguirá defendiéndose de este tipo de “agresiones” y que Teherán acudirá a las Naciones Unidas para denunciar la invasión aérea.
