Living Room Makeover with Wood Accent Wall
This video shows how a living room can be transformed with a change of paint, and an inexpensive wood accent wall. The room goes from warmer beige and red tones, to the cooler, more contemporary gray tones, and it gets a cool, one-of-a-kind accent wall. Redwood bender board - which is normally used in landscaping - proves to be an excellent, and more affordable option for this project. It is cut at varying lengths, and stained with two different shades of stain, and then it is affixed to the wall using brad nails. Finally, new drapes and furnishings are brought in for a new eclectic look. See how it all comes together, and pick up on some things that were learned along the way, should you decide to take on a similar project.\r

Outdoor Halloween Yard Decorations - Old Creepy Cemetery Display
Here is our Halloween outdoor yard decorations for our home haunt display . We set up a different themed Halloween yard display each year. Take a look at our fun creations but be careful not to awaken the spirits as we take you through the haunted day time tour, Hahahaha! This year we added our first Creepy Mausoleum Facade that was a scary walk through crypt with a crypt coffin and skeleton. We designed and fabricated the run down decrepit entrance columns and brick pillars two go with the scary black rusty PVC Halloween skull fence. We rigged up a couple of out door exterior porch and used flicker bulbs and green colored gels to give it the look of gas lamps. We had the arch above the entrance to the cemetery say Mishap Manor a place where people perished from sudden accidents. We picked up some planter urns that looked old and cracked an through bolted them to the removable lids located on top of each pillars. We used real cus and plants from the hardware store to go inside the urns and then made little Venus fly traps or man eating monster plants Audrey from little shop of horrors. We carved and hard coated more tombstones and graves using a Dremel, files, and sandpaper, repainted the boarded up windows with a glow in the dark paint by Wildfire. Got a couple fog machines. Added a couple steel sands to tie real tree limbs together to form real old looking dead trees. We fabricated our first wood toe pitcher coffin prop and ground breaker coffin with corpse made from a foam skull and dipped rags in paint letting it dry and harden as a shell. I made a skeleton body with PVC and used rags and melted plastic to cover the pipes. Added several PVC hot glue candles and fun epitaphs. We built a motorized kicking legs prop with a lawn mower over the top of him with mounted colored puck lights which flashed with a chase unit to simulate spinning blades. We added a wiper motor driven flying crank ghost pulley system above the yard with three glowing ghosts from the black lights mounted to the back sides of the entrance columns. A static hangman prop that we hoped to make pneumatic hung from a single gallows prop we constructed. Other props and decor we completed this year was a glowing coffin, web gun to make lots of spider webs to cover the crypt and tombs and last some LED lighting to light up the decorations and haunted area. \r

• Woodworking: Cut the wood accurately with different saws. Construct a chair, bench, fence, birdhouse or doghouse with a hammer or screwdrivers. Put the finishing touch to the new wood product by polishing and painting it.\r
• Build the tower: Build the apartment or business tower with a help of crane which can lift heavy loads. If some parts are not appropriate for the kind of tower you are building, put them on the assembly line and pick the right building part.\r
• Build the house: Pick builders tools and avoid toys and candies in the fun Catcher mini-game. Then build a house by adding windows, walls, a door, a balcony, stairs and a roof to make it a dream house.\r
• Demolish the tower: Sometimes an old building needs to be pulled down to make way for a new one. Use a hammer, pneumatic hammer, TNT box and wrecking ball. You will enjoy demolishing buildings in the middle of the city.\r
• Welding: Damages and holes have to be fixed. When you finish brushing the iron construction or leaky pipes in a customers house, dont forget to use a welding mask before welding!\r
• Warehouse: You are getting so many orders! Pick up the phone! Customers want to order building material. Follow the shopping list, use a fork-lift and load a truck with boxes.\r
• Timber cutting: To get wood for your constructions, first chop timber with a chainsaw or a hatchet in the Timberman mini-game. Then move all the logs with a crane and cut them with the circular saw.\r
• Construction site: Be the head of the building site and roll up your sleeves. To fill the holes with soil, dig up the material with a digger, take a truck to transport it and use a road roller to flatten it.\r

#Foyer area. When you enter this apartment the combination of black and white directly enhances the space and gives a feeling of coziness and peace. You can easily sit on the shoe cabinet and remove your shoes. A beautiful stone cladding is enlightened with some spot lights. We have also installed a lacquered glass as a partition which enhances even more, the elegance of the space. Light has been used carefully and thoroughly since it is one of the most important parts of interior design. The yellow light of the squared false ceiling makes the place even warmer.\r

# TV unit brightens the space with this sweet balance of black and white. Spot lights are still enlightening this combination of colors. The display unit and pigeon holes here can welcome many nice artifs. A black and long rafter is fixed all along the wall of the room, and some spotlights are fixed inside. You can easily relax on the sofa watching TV or reading, or you can just enjoy watching that lovely place.\r

# The false ceiling in the living-room is really well composed. On the center we have put three rafters where some yellow warm spot lights are given. The contrast is really interesting with the white cove lights and yellow spotlights lighting up different parts of the false ceiling.\r

#The Living area and the dining room are divided by a slanted partition with spotlights which gives a feeling of privacy. In the dining space we decided to put a crockery unit for storage that is made of different drawers. There is another nice stone cladding on the wall behind the crockery unit beautifying the space with its combination of the white niches and fixed on it. The long black rafter is still brightening up the space with his spot lights. There is a piece of ply that seems to hang idle beside the crockery unit! Surprise! It is ually a removable table which can be used in case of many guests.\r

#The kitchen has a combination of white and black currant that gives bright and fresh look by contrast. The white board is a really nice idea if you need to write something. There is a lot of storage in that kitchen and you can easy tidy up that place. There is a lovely shelf where you can easily store many spices. That space comes in really handy for the ones who cook the everyday meals in the house.\r

#In the Kids bedroom we used a dark and a light brown laminate contrast. A big wardrobe with a lot of storage and drawers have been installed since kids often need a lot of storage and as you can see, it is already full of toys. In one of the doors of that wardrobe we have attached a big mirror to give another dimension to that space. On the right side of that wardrobe there is a display unit made of different niches and drawers.\r

#In the master bedroom we used again the combination of black and white. The display unit offers a lot of storage. A lovely wall with a butterfly decal gives a feeling of softness to that bedroom. Like we did in the living area, we put a rafter on top with some spotlights. On the corner, we fixed a curved desk where it is really easy to sit and work. The huge master bedroom is well enhanced by a white and smooth head-board. On the other side, we can find a wardrobe with three loft storage on the top. It is all made of black glossy and metallic laminates that look really elegant and fancy.\r

#The guest bedroom too is pretty spacious and stands pretty with a beautiful wardrobe that has a combination of rich brown laminates sandwiched between the light brown laminates. How we plumb our foggers & fog chillers with pipes to create erie fog effects for Halloween. Whats a scary home haunt or a horror film set without creepy fog. If youre like us fog is one of our favorite parts of the display each year so we try to find easy fun ways to use it. If youre in need of some great fog effects this video shares a nice way to set up your fog machines using homemade fog chillers in your Halloween yard display or event. The options we used are inexpensive and easy to build and set up. We ran 30 of 4 x 10 black convoluted drain pipe from under the front porch of the rundown creepy house and attached a DIY homemade trash can fog chiller and a 1000 watt fogger to the end. The results was a great low lying effect that clung to and hugged the ground without even wetting the ground first. We also set up a similar situation on the the second floor of the haunted house with a converted ice chest fog chiller and a small 400 watt fog machine. We used the same hose or piping with 1/2 PVC and drilled small holes in the flats or wall panels so the fog would creep out onto the porch covering.\r

Sorry about the sound! I kept putting my finger over the mic. Drove down thru the Catskills to Shokan NY to visit Ashokan Turf & Timbers open house. Bob and Warren have built what I think is one of the best shops in the region..its not always about price. Its also the folks behind the business and their combination of knowledge & ethics. Hope you get a sense from this video.. (Notice how Bob much to his chagrin, acknowledges the 555 is the the best firewood saw! Had to go back & forth from the 562xp to the 455.then logic prevails. went to the 555, ..:) He will ex his revenge in a later video..trust me. Good fun & good discussion/banter ) BUT the Husqvarna 555 / Jonsered 2258 is my pick for the best Home owner/ Land owner/ Farmer general use saw. AND I put my money where my opinion is..A Husqvarna 365/Jonsered 2166 a close second. The pros who work with saws for a living? That is what the XPis for.\r

I learned that the 455 family is growing! 455 AT (Auto tune), 460, and we saw in the owners manual a.wait for it.a 465! If that 460-465 rancher is an Auto Tune AND in the $450-$500 dollar range (A BIG if!)..the best fire wood saw choice gets tougher..although for me the weight and pro-level materials/design of the cases and internals will keep my money on the 2258/2260 or 555/562xp class saw for firewood/farm work. When a 460AT becomes available, think we will evaluate one vs. 365 & 555.\r

Also a little of the GTG/Open house mixed in and some Bob knowledge about the old saws as well. A great ride and the open house/gtg didnt dissappoint! Have to give a shout out to The Cutting Edge Folks ; They are another amazing saw shop in the North Country. Specializing in the Dolmar brand, they too are an amazing place. I think (Not certain) we were looking at part of their Dolmar Collection including that Wankle. Truely unique machine and a brand with an technically interesting history..bet they have another option for firewood thats excellent too..maybe a trip there someday?\r

Foyer interiors in salarpuria greenage- The foyer of the house has a very cozy look, the shoe rack is made a seater height with cushions on top and the wall has a nice textured wallpaper highlighted with spot lights. \r

Living room interiors in salarpuria greenage- The tv units looks very composed and calm because of the solid white laminate that we have used. It has g-profile handles on top cabinet, 2 ledges in between and drawers and cabinets below with tinted glass.\r

False ceiling- We have kept it very minimal, the spot lights and cove lights are white in colour to make the room look spacious.\r

Partition is given to divide the living and dining and we have given a pooja unit next to it.\r

The study table has two drawers and a bookshelf on top with open and closed storage, attached to it is a dresser with drawers which gives it a composed look. The bed is queen size and has storage underneath. Headboard is asymmetrical as it has only one side table attached to it. Above the bed is a display unit with pigeon holes. \r

Master bedroom interiors in salarpuria - There is a two door slider wardrobe with wooden textured laminate sandwiched with SS strips between solid white laminate, and a loft on top. The brown laminate is used for the headboard of the bed and side table ledge as well. The dresser is 1 deep with two drawers. Chinese Stealth Fighter J-31 歼-31 鹘鹰 Air Show,(2014
The Shenyang J-31,(or "FC-31 fifth Generation Multi-Purpose Medium Fighter")[6] also known as the "Gyrfalcon" (鹘鹰), or "Falcon Hawk" by some military enthusiasts,[7][8] is a twin-engine, mid-size fifth-generation jet fighter currently under development by Shenyang Aircraft Corporation. The fighter has also been referred to as the "F-60" or "J-21 Snowy Owl" (雪鸮) in some media report
Development
A photo of a model labeled F-60 was posted on the Internet in September 2011.[10] In June 2012, photos and camera video clips started to emerge on internet about a heavily overwrapped possible F-60 prototype being road-transferred on a highway, earning the nickname "the zongzi plane" (粽子机) among Chinese netizens, though some suspect it of merely being a L-15 trainer aircraft.[11] Pictures of a possibly fully assembled aircraft parking on an airfield emerged on September 15–16, 2012. The F-60 is reported to be the export version, where the J-31 would be the domestic Chinese version of the same fighter Chinese aviation expert Xu Yongling has called the J-31 an export-oriented low-end latest generation warplane.
Flight testing
The prototype conducted a high-speed taxiing test and briefly became airborne. On 31 October 2012, prototype No. 31001 conducted the model's maiden flight., It was accompanied by two J-11 fighters in a ten-minute test flight with its landing gear lowered.
With the maiden test flight of the prototype No.31001 on October 31, 2012, China became the second nation after the 1991 Advanced Tactical Fighter fly off, to have two stealth fighter designs in field-testing at the same time,The aircraft has continued a limited test program, with footage emerging of further flights which took place in February 2013.
Public unveiling
A 1/4 scale model of the J-31 was shown at the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition 2012, hinting at a desire to offer the aircraft for export, as an alternative for those countries that cannot purchase the F-35.
The J-31 airframe was publicly unveiled on November 12, 2014 at Zhuhai Airshow.[22][23] In TV broadcast of the unveiling, AVIC chairman Lin Zuoming claimed that funding for the aircraft came entirely from the company, with no input from military
As typical in flight displays of fighter jets, afterburners were engaged throughout the maneuvers. Nevertheless, Western media claimed it to be evidence of aerodynamic inefficiencies, concluding that the aircraft "bleeds a lot of energy and the pilot had a hard time keeping the nose up." Flights were done when the jet was "clean," so results would be worse when fitted with a combat loadout. However, a large-scale model of the FC-31 on display did show some detail changes of configuration compared to the flying prototype.
At the 2015 Dubai Airshow, AVIC released more details regarding the aircraft's capabilities. The company revealed it is still looking for a partner in the aircraft project, and is actively marketing the aircraft to People's Liberation Army Air Force. AVIC's plan is to have a production model first flight by 2019.
Future[edit]
Due to mixed reports from China, it is unknown as to whether the J-31 will be inducted as a naval fighter, or only intended for foreign customers. In one interview with China's state media, the J-31's chief designer Sun Cong expressed his hope that the aircraft would follow his J-15 onto China's aircraft carriers.However, officials from AVIC only said that the aircraft was intended for export as a competitor to the F-35
Pakistan is reportedly interest in acquiring 30 to 40 of these aircraft. While the J-31 has been touted as a rival to the American F-35 in the export market, it remains to be seen how successful this will be. With the exception of Pakistan, China does not share the same kind of strategic relationships that the U.S. does—countries that are both willing and can afford to purchase the aircraft
New scaled models displayed at the Zhuhai Airshow revealed several planned differences from the 31001 flying prototype. The differences include a stealthier cockpit, a next-generation helmet mounted sight, holographic cockpit displays, EOTS, aerodynamic revisions and more powerful engines.
Design

J-31 incorporates certain stealth characters such as forward swept intake ramps with diverterless supersonic inlet (DSI) bumps and a two-piece canopy.
Airframe
The J-31 is smaller than the Chengdu J-20.
