Ingredients For the Vanilla cake\r

¾ of a Cup of Unsalted Butter at Room Temperature\r
3 Eggs\r
1 ¾ Cup of Sugar\r
2 ½ Cups of All Purpose Flour\r
1 Cup of milk\r
2 ½ tsp of Baking Powder\r
½ tsp of Salt\r
1 ½ tsp of vanilla extr\r

Method \r

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9 by 13 baking pan with non stick cooking spray and line the bottom with parchment paper.\r

In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar, add the eggs, vanilla and milk. Mix until all the ingredients are well incorporated.\r
\r
Add the flour, salt and baking powder and mix it just enough to incorporate the ingredients but DO NOT over mix.\r
\r
Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake it for 25 to 30 minutes \r
\r
Let it cool completely before frosting it.\r
\r

Ingredients for the vanilla icing \r
\r
1 1/4 cup of Unsalted Butter, at room temperature\r
4 1/4 cups of Powdered Sugar\r
1 Tbsp of Vanilla Extr\r
Food coloring (yellow, blue, black)\r

In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla until well combined and smooth. Keep whisking until you get a smooth and creamy frosting consistency. Keep it in the refrigerator for few minutes if needed (due to warm room temperature) \r

240 ml yogurt\r
1 egg \r
100 ml vegetable oil\r
370 gr all purpose flour\r
1 sachet baking powder\r
1/2 teaspoon salt\r
1 tsp vanilla extr\r
Filling:\r
Nutella\r
handful chopped walnuts\r
\r
1 tbsp melted butter\r

Instructions\r
\r
1. Preheat your oven to 180C(356F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.\r
\r
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, egg, oil, baking powder, salt and vanilla extr. Stir in half of the flour. Add the remaning flour and knead until elastic and smooth. Add more flour if dough is too sticky. \r
\r
3. On a floured surface, Divide dough into 9 pieces. Roll each dough out. Spread 1 tbsp Nutella onto each dough. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts. \r
\r
4. Roll the dough starting at the long side to the other end. Pinch the ends tight and place the seem end at the bottom. Now using a serrated knife cut the rolled log shaped dough in the middle into 2 leaving one end int. Now carefully twist the cut end facing upwards so that the Nutella can be seen. Now start braiding by twisting them one over another. Pinch the ends together. Make sure you use enough flour on the dough and the rolling surface to make it workable. Form a circle and pinch the ends. Repeat with remaining flour.\r

5. Brush top of each braided bread with melted butter and top with some chopped walnuts. Bake in preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven.\r

Today I will teach you how to prepare homemade muffins for breakfast or for an evening snack with a coffee or a glass of milk.
Surely you have heard many times that muffins are hard to make, that dough does not rise, that they become hard.. and you know what?
Actually they are very easy to make!
Yes it is true that sometimes during cooking, the dough can come out the mould pans and stain the tray where they are baked, but this is very easy to avoid, you just need to use a pan for muffins so that your muffins come out perfect.
With this recipe you can prepare twenty-four muffins approximately.

To prepare these homemade muffins you will need:
4 large eggs
275 gr. (9,70 oz.) of sugar
200 ml. (6,76 fl. oz.) of milk
265 gr. (9,34 oz.) of flour
125 gr. (4,41 oz.) of refined corn flour
20 gr. (0,70 oz.) of baking powder
200 ml. (6,76 fl. oz.) of sunflower oil
Lemon zest
To prepare these homemade muffins you should follow the next steps:
-Mix the flour, the refined corn flour and the baking powder.
-Beat the eggs with the sugar.
-Add milk and lemon zest.
-Add the flour and let it rest.
-Add the oil and mix well.
-Fill the muffin moulds ¾ parts.
-Sprinkle with sugar and bake at 200 ºC (392 ºF) between 15 and 18 minutesVer video "Homemade muffins"

For the Coca Cola Jelly :\r
\r
- 500 ml of Coca Cola\r
- 5 envelopes of unflavoured gelatin\r

For the Fizzy Chocolate:\r

- 2 Tsp citric acid\r
- 1 Tsp bicarbonate of soda (or baking soda)\r
- 2 Tsp of icing sugar\r
\r
For the Coca Cola Creme:\r
\r
- 600 ml of liquid creme 35%\r
- reduce it to 500 ml by boiling the Coke on high heat, so you will get a kind of sirup. You should stop when you have around 80 ml of sirup.\r

- 200 g of white chocolate\r
- 1 g of cocoa butter\r

Kunafa is like the Middle East version of a cheese danish and also an Arabic dish, prepared for the month of Ramadan. Its base is mild, stretchy white cheese-very like fresh mozzarella or paneer-with sweet sugar-based syrup and rich topping.\r
\r
INGREDIENTS:\r
\r
Corn flour ½ tsp\r
Milk 100 ml\r
Sugar 1 cup\r
Water As required \r
Rose water 1 tbs\r
Raisins 10 nos\r
Cashew nuts(chopped) 10 nos\r
Almonds(chopped) 10 nos, \r
Seviya 2 cups\r
Butter 2 tsp\r
Ghee 2 tsp\r
Pistachios(finely chopped) 1 tsp\r
\r
METHOD:\r
\r
1. Boil milk with corn flour in a pan and cook for 2-3 min so that it forms slight thick mixture.\r
\r
2. Boil sugar with little water in a pan to make like a gulab jamun syrup, at last add rose water boil it for 1 min and switch off flame.\r
\r
3. In a bowl add raisins, cashew nuts, almond, seviya, butter and slightly crush it.\r
\r
4. Add ghee and mix it.\r
\r
5. Take a baking tray and place one layer of seviya pour some cornstarch milk mixture, add second layer of seviya, pour some cornstarch milk mixture, add last layer of seviya and press it with hand.\r
\r
6. Bake at 180 degree for 15 mins until it slightly golden in colour.\r
\r
7. Loosen edges with knife and demould into a plate.\r
\r
8. Pour sugar syrup on its top and garnish with pistachios.\r
\r

As it turns out, the oven part did not heat up very well like other ovens I have tested. The stove top did heat up really fast and worked great. Barbecue Baked Beans Recipe by the BBQ Pit Boys
Theres no better eating beans when you serve up your own homemade BBQ Baked Beans right off the Barbecue grill. Watch one of the BBQ Pit Boys show you how easy it is to do. \r

Just add 4-5 1lb. cans of your favorite pre-cooked beans, with 1/4lb. thick-cut bacon, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1 cup brown sugar, 1 cup chopped onion, 1/4 cup molasses, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/4 cup cider vinegar, 4 tablespoons prepared mustard, to a 3-4 quart black iron pan. \r

Mix the ingredients as shown and then simmer in your covered grill for about an hour, or until the excess liquid renders off. Move the pan opposite the hot coals and then cover the pan for an additional hour or so.\r

Shawarma is vastly popular across the middle-east. Chicken baked in a yoghurt marinade, rolled up in pita bread and served with tahini.\r

Ingredients - How to make Lebanese Chicken Shawarma Wrap - Delicious Spicy Chicken Shawarma\r

*My 1 tbsp Oil = 50 ml or (One Ladle = 50 ml)\r

*2 whole Boneless Chicken Large Breast\r
*6-8 Pita Bread \r
*1/2 tsp Black cardamom powder\r
*2 tsp Garam Masala Powder\r
*1 tsp Black pepper powder\r
*2 tbsp Minced garlic or finely chopped Garlic\r
*2 tbsp Yoghurt/Curd\r
*3 tsp Olive oil or Vegetable Oil\r
*1 tsp Red chilli powder\r

Okay, so technically this recipe should ually be called Shawarma-Style Chicken. True shawarma is cooked with stacked, spice-marinated meats lamb, turkey, chicken, beef, or a mix of meats on a vertical spit. \r
\r
The shawarma turns and cooks on the spit for hours and hours, basted in fat and its own juices. Fat = flavor = tasty, amazing shawarma. Thin slices of meat are shaved from the surface and served, either on their own or tucked inside a warm flatbread, topped with tahini or garlic sauce. Shawarma is one of lifes great pleasures.\r
\r
Ive been trying to replicate the flavor of shawarma at home for months, playing with different spice combinations and cooking methods. At first I tried buying premade shawarma spice blends from the Middle Eastern markets, but none of them made my mouth happy. I needed more spice, more flavor, more oomph. So I began to experiment. Then finally, last week, I nailed it.\r
\r
This recipe is probably as close as Ill ever come to making shawarma at home. My family says its even better than the shawarma at our local Lebanese restaurant. \r
\r
You have two choices for cooking this recipe in the oven or on the grill. To be honest both cooking methods taste great, there really isnt a big difference between the two. \r
\r
I use boneless skinless chicken meat (a combination of dark and light meat) in the recipe. Shawarma gets a lot of its flavor from the meat fat that it is basted in. Ive replaced the flavor of the skin fat with olive oil, including a final saute in olive oil prior to serving. \r
\r
It may seem strange to saute meat that has already been cooked, but youre going to have to trust me on this one. The extra saute adds a ton of flavor and really gives it a shawarma-like texture that cant be replicated in the oven or on the grill. \r
\r
If youre trying to cut down on your oil intake you dont need to do the extra saute, it will save you 2 tablespoons of olive oil… it wont taste exly like shawarma, but it will be yummy. But please, dont replace the chicken thighs with breast meat. \r
\r
This dish really needs some dark meat in it to make it taste great. You can make it with all chicken thighs, if you prefer (I ually love it that way), but dont sub all chicken breast. Pretty please.\r

This lamb dish is a mix of both Arabic and Mediterranean cuisine. Cumin and Tomatoes are widely used in both foods. Lets just call this a Eastern Mediterranean dish.\r

Turkish cuisine (Turkish: Türk mutfağı) is largely the heritage of Ottoman cuisine, which can be described as a fusion and refinement of Central Asian, Middle Eastern and Balkan cuisines. Turkish cuisine has in turn influenced those and other neighbouring cuisines, including those of Western Europe. The Ottomans fused various culinary traditions of their realm with influences from Middle Eastern cuisines, along with traditional Turkic elements from Central Asia (such as yogurt), creating a vast array of specialities—many with strong regional associations.\r
Turkish cuisine varies across the country. The cooking of Istanbul, Bursa, Izmir, and rest of the Aegean region inherits many elements of Ottoman court cuisine, with a lighter use of spices, a preference for rice over bulgur, and a wider use of seafoods. The cuisine of the Black Sea Region uses fish extensively, especially the Black Sea anchovy (hamsi), has been influenced by Balkan and Slavic cuisine, and includes maize dishes. The cuisine of the southeast—Urfa, Gaziantep and Adana—is famous for its kebabs, mezes and dough-based desserts such as baklava, kadayıf and künefe (kanafeh).\r

Lebanese cuisine includes an abundance of starches, whole grain, fruits, vegetables, fresh fish and seafood; animal fats are consumed sparingly. Poultry is eaten more often than red meat. When red meat is eaten it is usually lamb on the coast, and goat meat in the mountain regions. It also includes copious amounts of garlic and olive oil, often seasoned by lemon juice.; olive oil, herbs, garlic and lemon are typical flavours found in the Lebanese diet.\r
Most often foods are either grilled, baked or sautéed in olive oil; butter or cream is rarely used other than in a few desserts. Vegetables are often eaten raw or pickled as well as cooked. Herbs and spices are used and the freshness of ingredients is important. Like most Mediterranean countries, much of what the Lebanese eat is dictated by the seasons.\r

Poured icing watercolor cookies - Mirror cake technique without the reflection
I used my usual icing recipe for this project\r

Royal icing recipe: \r

I did not use the usual mirror glaze due to the f that it doesnt dry completely to allow stacking & packaging the cookies. The royal icing does not give that same reflective finish but it does dry completely to the touch.\r
\r
I cut my cookie using saran wrap to remove the sharp edge around the perimeter.\r

7 - Animal Kingdom – At one point the famous Animal Kingdom was supposed to include a separate attrion within the attrion called “Beastly Kingdom.” This would be dedicated to mythical creatures and probably include some animatronics. Even though that idea never made its way to fruition there is a subtle nod to the project on the sign for Animal Kingdom. In the middle of a rhino and elephant you can see the silhouette of a dragon. We met youve never noticed THAT before!\r

6 - Smellitizers – If youve ever visited a Disney park and noticed a certain smell in a certain place, well thats no accident. Smellitizers are devices that can be found in the tunnels below the parks and are located throughout Disney parks to emit certain smells in certain areas. Some of the most obvious smells are the smell of fresh baked cookies and vanilla on Main Street, fresh citrus on the Soarin ride, and a salty smell on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Some of the less obvious, but definitely noteworthy smells are the smell of honey on Poohs adventures and burning wood on Spaceship Earth.\r

5 - Cinderellas castle – Cinderellas castle may be the most well-known landmark in all of Disney parks. Everyone knows what it looks like and everyone knows where its located. What not many people know is that hidden inside the castle is a private guest suite, reserved for contest winners only. You cannot book this suite and it is given to families for use about once every two weeks. The suite has only been used approximately 600 times. Not only do you get a car to drop you at the Magic Kingdom, but you also get a personal guide to accompany you around the park ing as a personal FASTpass for rides and giving you all the information about the park you could ever want. Inside the suite are Disney charer relics, such as Cinderellas glass slipper and Captain Hooks telescope, as well as a television disguised as a mirror that you use a magic wand to turn on.\r

4 - The Grey Stuff – A line from the song “Be Our Guest” in theBeauty and the Beast has the Lumiere sing “Try the grey stuff, its delicious – dont believe us, ask the dishes!” Now you can try the grey stuff too! When dining at the Be Our Guest restaurant at Disney World, you can order the grey stuff, which is some sort of cookies and cream grey mousse. Originally not located on the menu, its now a featured dessert and you should really do yourself a favor and try it, because Lumiere was not lying – it is delicious!\r

3 - Tom Sawyer Island – This ride, located at Disney World, is a boat ride that takes you over to an island with a Tom Sawyer theme. Its a very quiet, some would say boring ride. Boring, until you realize that you could walk away with a pretty awesome prize. The island supposedly has paintbrushes hidden all over the place, to recreate Tom Sawyers chore to whitewash his Aunt Pollys fence. If youre lucky enough to find a paintbrush, bring it over to your boat driver and theyll reward you with a fastpass to any one ride in the park. Dont go crazy looking for all the brushes, though. Its only good for one brush per family. \r

2 - Club 33 – Club 33 is one of the cooler secrets within Disneyland. Its located in the middle of New Orleans Square and is recognized only by a plate attached to the building that says “33.” To be allowed entry into the club, you must be a member, and to become a member you need to get on a waitlist that is estimated to be years long and its roughly $25,000 to join plus $10,000 in yearly dues. Some of the perks to the club, is –obviously, access to the club itself – alcoholic beverages, since the park is for the most park dry except for certain areas, early park admission, valet parking at the resorts and access to private events held at the park. \r

1 - Walts Apartment – When Walt Disney was designing and constructing Disneyland he wanted to build a special apartment hidden from the chaos of the park, but still within the park. He built the apartment above the Main Street Firehouse. The Disney family would spend time in the apartment, entertaining guests or Walt would do quiet work – his desk was set up against a window overlooking Main Street. A lamp in the window would be left on when Walt was present in the apartment which was a fun thing for guests to see.
