At least 24 killed in bus accident in Peru

"They couldn't remove some of the dead because they were crushed by the bus. There are a lot. There are a lot of dead people, about 24 or 25 of them, pretty many. I am not absolutely certain, but the accident occurred around 6 a.m." - witness

At least 24 people died and another 29 were injured on Saturday (April 16) when a bus went off a highway in Peru's central Andes.

The accident occurred in the early morning near the city of Pasco in central Peru. The bus belonged to the Estrella Polar transportation company.

"They couldn't remove some of the dead because they were crushed by the bus. There are a lot. There are a lot of dead people, about 24 or 25 of them, pretty many. I am not absolutely certain, but the accident occurred around 6 a.m," an area witness said.

The accident marks the second in just a week after 23 people were killed when a bus plunged into a river in the Cuzco region last Saturday (April 9).

Hammer Restoration Project

In this video im going to show how i restored an old beat up hammer to a new and custom made one with a personal touch.\r
Unfortunately the Heat treating of this hammer is not covered by this video as the camera died. The way it was done was by heating the hammer head to a soft red glow and then cooling it quickly in a bucket of water. After that i used a stove to temper the steel in order to not make it break if there were a miss hit on a hardened steel surface.\r

Apple and Steve Jobs have featured prominently in our animations. This was not due to enmity or ill will. It was because we admired him. We admired the way he could capture so many of our imaginations.

Steve Jobs made the world fall in love with and embrace technology. Much of what Next Media Animation does -- indeed what any media company does -- would be impossible were it not for Steve Jobs.

He impacted how animation gets made. How it gets edited. How its get delivered and viewed all over the world. For that we are deeply grateful.

Vindictus - Literally The Most Deaths, Ever.

Were almost level 20 so far and we figured the difficulty wasnt going to ramp up for (likely) a little while. However, having just hit level 17 we saw there was a mission we could take - or more appropriately - a raid we could participate in. A level 17, 6 man group raid. Naturally we had to participate in that! Hell yeah - a 6 man raid at our level? So, we went right in, just the two of us and got all the way to the end without (literally) dying or taking really any damage at all.\r
\r
That was when the difficulty changed. The raid boss just spawned in and messed us up. Bam. Insta-dead. Every time Wiggy got hit - insta-dead. Thankfully I could take slightly more damage but she died so many times that she almost ended up giving up.\r
\r
Thankfully I saved the day though (dealing 75% overall damage to the boss) and we managed to clear it!\r
\r
Hell yeah! Hands up for our first Vindictus raid boss clear!\r
\r

These types of snakes are ually made up of several different species. Their name is a dead giveaway for what these guys can do. Their most effective defense mechanism is the ability to spit their venom into the eyes of whatever it targets.
