Snow Leopard (Uncia uncia)

The Snow Leopard (Uncia uncia), sometimes known as "Ounce," is a moderately large cat native to the mountain ranges of Central Asia. The classification of this species has been subject to change and its exact taxonomic position will not be resolved until further studies are conducted.

It cannot roar, despite possessing an incomplete ossification of the hyoid bone. The presence of this ossification was previously thought to be essential for allowing the big cats to roar. However, new studies show that the ability to roar is due to other morphological features, especially of the larynx, which are absent in the snow leopard.

Curried Turkey Salad\r

2 cups finely chopped leftover turkey \r
1/3 cup finely diced celery\r
1/4 cup chopped walnuts\r
1/4 cup dried cranberries\r
2 tsp. curry powder\r
salt and pepper to taste\r
1/3 cup 2% Greek yogurt\r
1 tbsp. mayonnaise\r
butter lettuce\r
2 slices whole grain bread \r
\r
In a medium bowl, combine turkey, celery, walnuts, cranberries, curry powder, salt, pepper, yogurt, and mayo. Mix until everything is well incorporated.\r

When you are ready to build your sandwich, layer the butter lettuce on the bottom layer of the bread, top with turkey salad, pop on the top and enjoy!\r

*You will have enough salad to make more then one sandwich.\r

Divide the mayo between the top and bottom of your bread. Layer the bottom of the bread with baby spinach (I like to pile it on!).\r

Next layer on the tomato, turkey, bacon and avocado. Pop on the top and gently slice in half. Enjoy!\r

Turkey Apple + Cheddar Sandwich\r

1 tablespoon whole grain mustard\r
1 tablespoon of hummus\r
big handful of fresh arugula\r
2 ounces leftover turkey\r
1 ounce sliced cheddar cheese\r
1/2 small green apple, thinly sliced\r
2 slices whole grain bread\r
\r
Spread the mustard on the bottom half of the bread and the hummus on the top half of the bread.\r

Layer arugula over the bottom half then top with turkey, cheese, and apple. Pop on the top and enjoy!\r

Zoku Ice Cream Maker Review

Hi Guys, today Im reviewing the Zoku Ice Cream Maker. Link to Zoku Ice Cream Maker: It makes a 5 ounce serving of ice cream, gelato, frozen yogurt or sorbet in 10 minutes. This is a single serve unit. The Zoku comes with the stainless steel inner bowl, outer sleeve, spoon and instruction manual with some recipes. It is BPA free. \r
The unit is the size of a cereal bowl. It comes in lots of fun colors, this pretty blue, red, lime green, orange, purple and light blue. To make ice cream, take the inner bowl out of the outer sleeve. Put this in the freezer upright for 12 hours. While its freezing, make your ice cream mixture. Any mixture you use has to be chilled and at 40 degrees fahrenheit or less. So the longer you chill the mixture, the better. Im making vanilla ice cream and am using the recipe from the manual. The recipes in the manual make 6 5 oz servings. I just cut the recipe to two servings so I have 10 ounces here. This is ½ cup milk, ½ cup cream, ⅓ cup sugar, pinch of salt and 1.5 tsps vanilla extr. Make sure to stir the ingredients for about 3 minutes because the sugar and salt have to be completely dissolved. Its an extremely simple recipe. I could just drink this, its sö good. \r
\r
My ice cream mixture is chilled. The bowl has been in the freezer for over 12 hours. Put the bowl in the outer sleeve. There is no locking or snapping, the bowl just sits in the sleeve. Use 5 ounces of ice cream mixture. I like to put my mixture in a measuring cup in the fridge, its so much easier to know how much to pour, theres no guessing. Ill start my timer. Immediately after you pour the mixture, start scraping the bowl with the included spoon. Scrape the mixture into the middle, stir and scrape continuously. If you wait too long to stir, the ice cream could really harden up and be harder to scrape. Clean the spoon on the edge of the bowl. You can see the ice cream is starting to get thick. This is the time to add any toppings you might want to - chocolate chips or crumbled up cookies, candy, berries, whatever you like. The ice cream is formed in 5 minutes. If you want very hard ice cream, put the bowl in the fridge for 10 - 20 minutes. The outer sleeve cannot go in the freezer.\r

Wash the ice cream maker in warm, soapy water. This is not dishwasher safe. If the outer sleeve gets stuck, rinse the whole thing under warm water and twist the sleeve off. You can separate the unit like this to clean and it just snaps back together. Dont scrub or use any utensils other than the included spoon. Dry the unit and store it in your freezer so its ready to pull out when you want ice cream. \r

The Zoku is a good single serve ice cream maker. Its great for people who want to make healthier frozen desserts and also those who believe in portion control. If you start scooping store bought ice cream, itll definitely turn out to be more than 5 ounces. As with any ice cream maker, its nice to be able to control the ingredients that go into your dessert. I think this will also be fun for kids. Of course youll have to get them each their own unit but itll keep them busy for a few minutes. \r

Hi Guys, today Im reviewing the Cuisinart Mini-Prep Plus Food Processor DLC-2A. LINK TO Cuisinart Mini Prep Plus : Its 250 watts, weighs 3 lbs and is 9.25 inches tall. The plastic work bowl is 3 cups or 24 ounces. The plastic is BPA free. \r
The body is a durable lightweight plastic. Mine is chrome but there are many different bright color options to choose from. The control panel is simple with a chop button and grind button. The stainless steel blade has auto reverse meaning when it is in the chop function, it spins one way and when it is in the grind function is spins the opposite way. The chop function uses the sharp edge of the blade for herbs and pureeing soft foods. The blunt edge is for processing harder things like spices and nuts. The lid has two holes for pouring oil or liquids when making mayonnaise or a dressing. The unit comes with an instruction manual, recipe booklet and spatula. The parts are dishwasher safe on the top rack. \r

Ill test the mini by chopping garlic, onions, tomatoes, herbs and pureeing cooked carrots. Ill also grind spices. \r
\r
This mini is definitely not a replacement for a standard food processor and its not meant to be. But its a good option for making smaller items like dressings, dips and salsa. People who are not that quick with a knife will also get a lot of use out of this mini. \r

3 cups packed cauliflower rice (600g or 21 ounces)\r
pinch of kosher sea salt\r
1/4 tsp garlic powder\r
2 eggs, beaten\r
2 tbsp. almond flour\r
2 tbsp. coconut flour\r
\r
EVERYTHING BAGEL SPICE COMBO\r
1 tbsp. poppy seed\r
1 tbsp. sesame seed\r
1 tbsp. minced garlic\r
1 tbsp. minced onion\r
3/4 tsp. kosher sea salt\r

Pre heat oven to 400\r
\r
Line a rimed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.\r
\r
In a large bowl, combine cauliflower rice, salt, garlic powder, eggs, almond flour and coconut flour. Mix until everything is well combined.\r
\r
Take about 1/4 cup of the dough and start by forming a ball between the palms of your hands. Give the dough a gentle squeeze to extr any excess liquid and then flatten that ball out a bit keeping the edges rounded and then poke whole in the center. The dough is delicate, so work slowly and take your time. (See video for step by step instructions).\r
\r
Place the bagel on the rimmed baking sheet and repeat until you have 8 bagels.\r
\r
Sprinkle the everything bagel spice mixture over the top of each bagel, and gently push the seeds onto the bagel using the back of a spoon.\r
\r
Pop into the oven for 30 minutes or until the bagels are set through and golden brown.\r
\r
Allow to cool completely before slicing and adding your favorite bagel toppings.\r
\r
Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.\r
\r

Hi Guys, today Im reviewing the Ninja Express Chop. LINK to Ninja Express Chop: It measures 10 inches tall by 6 inches wide and weighs less than 2 pounds. It comes with the processing bowl that holds 16 ounces. The bowl is bpa free and it has a no slip bottom. The blade, splash guard which you can also use a storage lid, the power head with on/off pulse button, quick start guide and instruction manual. Lets test the Ninja by processing onions, garlic, tomatoes, herbs and nuts. \r
To use, put the blade in the bowl, put your ingredients in, well start with garlic cloves. put the splash guard on with the flap open. Place the power head on top and secure it. Plug it in. Hold the bowl and press the on/off pulse button. Make sure that the blade stops before removing the powerhead. Take the blade out. \r
\r
Dont put more than 2 cups dry or 1 cup liquid ingredients into the bowl because it could overflow. Also, cut ingredients into 1 inch pieces. Dont put a whole tomato in here, this is a small chopper and its not designed to handle large pieces of food. Also, dont overload the machine, its not meant to be a full size food processor.\r

All the parts are dishwasher safe on the top rack. Of course the power head is not, just wipe it with a damp cloth and dry.\r

Our Facebook page: Here, in Dubaj we found a lot of different shops with toys. But the most import_ant is that we found a ToysRUs shop. We wasnt sure if we will find it, but we did. And it was awesome. This shop was big and with a lot of different toys. But Sammie always looking for a new Nerf Gun. This time he found a special section with this type of gun and he asked Daddy to buy one. Because it is warm here and Sammie can play and swim in the pool he chose the Super Soaker Nerf Gun for water. This is switch shot Blast. Wow, it looked awesome. When we were back in hotel Sammie asked Daddy to open it and check how does it works. This gun can holds up to 20 ounces of water and it fires up to 25 feet. It also has four different soakage, like triple shot or scattershot. So Sammie very easy could change the spray pattern. So he took all parts from the box and he checked every single part and he read the instruction. Daddy helped him to add water into container and they went to pool to check this gun. The weather was beautiful so it was a lot of fun to play with this gun in the water. Sammie tried to shot Daddy, but it wasnt easy :) Anyway, our family had a lot of fun with this new toy :)\r
