Paco bathing/ Paco bañandose.

Un video de la mascota de la famila, Paco el perico, en un restaurante que pusimos el 20 de septiembre de 2010. Ese dia estaba lloviendo y yo me lo lleve al restaurante, y entonces quedo un poco mojado. Lo puse en esta mesa para que pudiera secarse, pero el entonces se empezo a frotar las gotas de la mesa, asi que le puse un traste con agua, y se termino de bañar. XD

A lil' vid of me and my family pet, taken on September 20, 2010. Paco the parakeet. Paco usually likes to bathe, and he bathes in a container of water me or my mom place near him. In this video he's at a restaurant that my father opened on almost the end of August. That day was raining and I went there to work, I took him to the restaurant cos in home there was no one to feed him, and wen I arrived with him in a microbus he was a quite wet. I put him on this table so he could get dry, but then began to rub his feathers with the drops that were on the table, so I put a bowl with water near him, and he finished bathing!! XD I took the video with my camera cos I thought it was very cute the way he bathes ^^ I'd like to thank a lot to my friend Jame for making possible this video!

Hola a tod@s ! , esta vez he tenido mas suerte, como podran ver los periquitos estan teniendo mas confianza y ya se acercan para poder comer de mi mano, no esperaba resultados tan pronto, pero esta muy bien y vamos por buen camino.

Domesticando a mis Periquitos : Dia 1

Este es el primer video, del primer día de entrenamiento de mis periquitos. Con el pasar de los días trataremos de que pierdan el miedo y puedan comer de la mano y/o se suban a los dedos.

Obviamente en este primer video no esperabamos muy buenos resultados, pero por algo se empieza ya que para esto necesitaremos mucha paciencia.

Wow, lo estamos logrando. En esta ocación uno de los periquitos sube a mi dedo, señal que vamos por buen camino. Nuestra paciencia esta dando sus frutos.

No esta en el video pero les contare que si estuvo sobre mi dedo por varios minutos, lastima que no pude grabar esa parte, no me dio tiempo ;)

Espere que muy pronto pueda pararse completamente en mi dedo sin volar a otro lado. Por el momento solo son los dos verdes/amarillo quierenes muestran mas confianza,al parecer la celeste nos tomare un poco mas de tiempo.

Periquito bebe jugando y mordiendo mi dedo

A pesar de que juego con ellos , les doy comida y todo , aun no esta muy acostumbrada a mi mano me muerde el dedo para que no la agarre . Pero lo único que se necesita es paciencia y dedicación .

Mis preciosas mascotas !

Aquí les muestro todas la mascotas que tenemos en casa, sólo faltaron un par de betas porque estabamos limpiandoles sus casas ;) pero luego se los presento, por ahora estan los mas importantes.

3 perritos de razas basset hound, cocker spaniel y un mix de los dos (osea el hijo). Una pescera de 55 galones de agua fresca con variedad de goldfish y una opaline, otra de 16 galones con goldfish tambien. Una pescera de 25 galones de agua salada con peces payaso, una anemona y blenny. Y no podian faltar mis periquitos.

Periquito bebe tratando de salir del nido

Este es el 3ro de 5 crías. Parece que ya se está animando a salir del nido pero aun le da un poco de miedo, se queda parádito alli nomas mirando. Y al último se vuelve a meter al nido . Pero ya va poco a poco. Ya sale mas seguido a pararse allí. En cualquiier momento lo tendremos fuera y unido a los demás periquitos ..

Primer periquito bebe !

Nuestra primera cría de periquito ha nacido hoy 30 de Diciembre 2014 ! Y aún hay más en camino. Estabamos seguros que 5 huevos estaban fecundados, no sabemos si el último tambien lo este, ya que no quisimos molestar a la pareja.

Son unos padres ejemplares, juntos han calentado los huevos todo el tiempo y no se separan casi nunca, solamente para que el macho salga por comida o para cumplir con sus necesidades.

Los mantendremos informados...

#VIRAL: Testigos de Jehová esperaron 30 minutos afuera de casa, perico era quien respondía: "ahí voy"

If you live in Mexico, you may have encountered Jehovah's Witnesses outside your home on more than one occasion. We are talking about those who knock on houses to read or discuss the scriptures of their religion. That's why the video of a parakeet on TikTok went viral almost immediately. What's the connection? It turns out that Jehovah's Witnesses remained half outside a home believing that someone was telling them that he would soon come out, but in reality who answered them was a parakeet. It was through the account '@jhosuargz' with a TikTok video where this case became visible.
The owner of the bird narrated what happened. According to him, when he arrived home, he found several Jehovah's Witnesses who told him that they had been outside his house for 30 minutes. They did not leave the place, because inside the house someone was shouting "here I come". The witnesses thought it was a person, but in reality it was the house parakeet.
"I'm coming to the house and there were some Jehovah's Witnesses. I ask them what's on offer. They tell me 'we are waiting for you to open the door because there is a person who is saying 'here I come, here I come'. Well, there is no one, I am alone. It's a parakeet that we have that knocks on the door and says 'here I come'. And this madman -the parakeet- has the Jehovah's Witnesses waiting for 30 minutes because he is saying 'here I come, here I come'," said the owner of the parakeet.
The man even knocked on his door to show that his parakeet actually responds. As expected, the video went viral almost immediately with multiple reactions: "He blabbed to the witnesses"; "The witnesses after you told them that there was no one in the house"; "The witnesses: finally someone answers us, let's wait!"; "Jehovah's Witnesses are no longer going out to preach, it wasn't them," were some of the reactions.
