Giving your newborn a bath can seem pretty scary at first, but it doesnt need to be an intimidating experience! \r

OK, confession time—I didnt bathe my first born or my daughters for nearly a week after bringing them home from the hospital because I was just too intimidated and scared to try it. I usually just received help from my mother with that because I simply didnt want to even attempt it, as I had small babies (none were over 7 lbs—and my girls were in the 5 lb range!) and I didnt want to risk anything. Mommas, this is a totally normal feeling; like youll see in my sponge bath demo video, its not such a traumatic experience once you do it a few times and get used to it. Once your babys umbilical cord falls off, then you can move toward using an infant tub, which I also cover in another demo video. Youll get the hang of it!\r

What should I know about bathing a baby?\r
\r
First of all, you really dont need to worry about bathing your baby every day. In f, some doctors say that bathing your baby several times per week is more than enough. As for me, I ually did end up starting to bathe my babies daily, just because it seemed to soothe them. I also couldnt get enough of that clean baby smell—so yummy, fresh and sweet! A lot of times when my babies woke up in the morning, they would have really mucky eyes and nose, so I found that bathing them took care of that. I dealt with some serious mucky eyes issues all the time; so much in f that I ended up making a video about it to help other parents who are dealing with it. \r
\r
I always did the bath after the babys morning feeding, because my little ones would always be too hungry and would SCREAM if I even tried to bathe them first thing in the morning. I also couldnt do it at night because I was always either busy with my other kids or just too tired from the day. \r
\r
In a nutshell, I would generally feed the baby first thing in the morning, burp him or her, and then bathe the baby and dress him or her in a onesie or a side-snap T-shirt. After the bath, the baby would then be ready—or just about ready—for a morning nap. Bathing can be helpful with soothing babies, but try not to be too upset if your baby cries during his or her bath. One of my babies screamed—and I mean, SCREAMED—while their diapers were changed, and it drove me emotionally crazy. Some babies simply just dont like baths because they arent quite used to it, so they feel uncomfortable. However, your baby will probably enjoy feeling nice and clean after the bath, so you may notice some relaxation after the bath.\r

Assad urges halt to flow of terrorists to Syria and Iraq through Turkey

Damascus, Dec 11 (EFE).- Syrian President Bashar Assad, in an exclusive interview with EFE, stressed the need to halt the flow of terrorists that he said were arriving in Syria and Iraq through Turkey, as well as to block the terror financing that, in his view, was originating in Saudi Arabia.

"In Syria, we have more than 100 nationalities fighting with the extremists and terrorists, Al Qaeda and al-Nusra and others. The first step we should take in order to solve this problem is to stop the flood of terrorists, especially through Turkey to Syria and to Iraq, and of course we have to stop the flowing of money - Saudi money and other Wahhabi money and Qatari money - to those terrorists through Turkey," Assad said.

He also called for a halt to the flow of armaments and logistical support for groups battling Syrian government forces.

"We have to start with stopping the flow, and at the same time fighting terrorism from within Syria by the Syrian army and by whoever wants to support the Syrian army," Assad said.

That latter remark was a veiled reference to the U.S.-led coalition against Islamic State that has carried out airstrikes against the jihadists in Syria for more than a year without any military coordination with Damascus.

Assad said organizations considered to be "terrorist around the world, like ISIS (Islamic State) or al-Nusra," have hundreds of millions of dollars and "a nearly full army like any other state," a situation he said was only possible due to the direct support of countries like Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Qatar.

He said that if the goal is a quick end to the war, "and most of the world is saying now they want to see an end to this crisis," then pressure must be placed "on those countries that, you know them, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Qatar."

"Then this conflict will end in less than a year, definitely," the Syrian president added.

Around 250,000 people have died since the Syrian civil war broke out in 2011, according to the United Nations and other organizations.

They are airsoft guns from Ehobbyasia.com. The main guns in Parts 1 and 2 are the G&P Sentry, WE SCAR GBB, and the A&K Masada.

2) What camera equipment do you use?
We are currently using the Canon 7d. I really love it.

4) How much did Parts 1 and 2 cost?
If you count all the gear we already had like prop guns and camera equipment it would be pretty expensive. But the money we spent specifically for Parts 1 and 2 was three to five hundred bucks, mostly on pizza delivery.

5) What is the end credits music?
All the music in Parts 1 and 2 is royalty free stock music, except for a cover of the Old Snake Theme performed by Rick Burnett. The end credits music is Anthem for War, composed by Cassidy Bisher.

In Norse mythology, Surtr (modern Icelandic Surtur, sometimes Anglicized Surt) is the leader of the fire giants in the south, the ruler of Muspelheim, the realm of fire. His name means "Swart" or Black, and at the end of the world, Ragnarok, his hordes will rush north like a south wind to overwhelm the gods.

In Snorri Sturluson's Edda (1179-1241): "Surtur is the one so named who stands on Múspell's border, guarding the land. His sword is flaming and as the world ends he will go out, make war against and triumph over the gods. And he will burn the whole world with fire" (Gimlé Gylfaginning, iv). Only Hodmimir's Forest will remain, because that is the only thing his sword can not destroy. He will kill the unarmed god Freyr as well.

Surtsey is a new volcanic island that surfaced off the south coast of Iceland in 1963. Its name in Icelandic means "Surtur's Island".

In the final battle, Surtr and his Fire-Giants burst forth: "In Surtur's grasp the Sword of Revenge blazes, adding a blood red colour to the twilight of the whole world."

"Pumpcast News" is a Tonight Show sketch in which actor Tim Stack, posing as the anchor of a (fake) news show aired at gas station pumps, starts to talk directly to the unsuspecting gas station patrons.

While usually the intention of the sketch is to frighten and shock normal people just trying to go about their day, Wednesday's installment was something else.

The couple ended up not only being totally game for Leno's silly prank, they also completely ROCKED it. After getting Will's attention, Stack offers to pay for his gas if he'll perform some karaoke.

After Stacks suggests Bon Jovi's "Livin' On A Prayer," he asks Sims, "Do you need the words?"

"No, I know 'em, baby!" Sims responds.

OH, does he know them, all right. His wife can sing, too! Monifa busts out a really good rendition of the Eurythmics' "Sweet Dreams," while her husband sings back up, and it's really just all too cute and hilarious for words.
