RAM 1500 Rebel - versión disponible en Paraguay
La RAM 1500 Rebel es el modelo de nivel de entrada de la empresa automotriz estadounidense en Paraguay. Es decir, si podemos llamar a una potente pick-up un modelo de gama de entrada, muy bien equipada y obviamente con tantos atributos, es más cara que otros modelos cuando intentan compararla con otras pick-ups. Esto se debe a que algunas personas intentan compararlo con un segmento inferior como Nissan Frontier y Toyota Hilux, por ejemplo. Sin embargo, la RAM 1500 Rebel, se ubica un segmento por encima de competir de verdad con la Chevrolet Silverado.

De cara al Salón de Detroit 2017, Ram Trucks introduce al nuevo Ram 1500 Rebel Black Special Edition, otra edición especial más desarrollada sobre la base de Ram 1500, uno de los pick-up más populares al otro lado del charco. Su principal característica es que cuenta con pintura negra en todos sus elementos decorativos y en muchos funcionales, como las llantas, la parrilla o el habitáculo.

RAM 1500 Limited a prueba - CarManía (2019)
En el mercado existían los productos lujosos y los de trabajo y no se había intentado hacer de estos dos uno mismo, salvo en pocas ocasiones, pero nunca con un eco y resultado tan importante como hoy lo ha logrado RAM con la 1500 Limited. Lo que había pasado antes es que se lograba un pick up de lujo, pero no para trabajo o al revés, pero nunca un híbrido total que cumpliera las exigencias del trabajo y las de un interior mejor cuidado, tecnológico y actual. Hoy RAM 1500 Limited logra convencer con argumentos importantes en los dos rubros y sin dejar nada a la imaginación.
Exterior
Se nota a primera vista un pick up más robusto, con líneas de carácter en el cofre que le dan una gran personalidad. Pero, lo que más destaca es su enorme parrilla cromada, nuevas líneas, luces LED y un imponente cofre que da paso a líneas rectas en los costados, con grandes rines en 20”. Remata con una parte trasera limpia con doble salida de escape, que ahora se nota un mejor terminado en este rubro e importancia para darle un balance a la imagen general del producto. Todo esto hace que se note un producto diferente, interesante y muy muy grande.
Interior
Una de sus mejores entregas, se nota un cuidado y atención especial al detalle muy diferente a entregas anteriores. Se ve que en RAM pensaron en ofrecer lo mejor en cuanto a calidad de materiales y ensamble, además de toda la seguridad y tecnología posible. Se percibe una atmósfera muy actual y le hace ver bien. Una gran pantalla de 12.3” toma el protagonismo de la consola central, es por supuesto compatible con Apple Car Play y Andoid Auto. Sonido Harman Kardon, pantalla en el clúster de instrumentos digital, conexiones de USB por todos lados, espacio y detalles que hacen de este interior, uno de los mejores en su categoría.
En cuanto a trabajo se refiere este RAM tenía que presumir un motor HEMI V8 de 395 HP y 410 lb·pie de torque con una caja automática de 8 velocidades y tracción integral, que puede cargar hasta 715 Kg y un arrastre de poco más de 5,000 Kg con frenos. Lo que la vuelve también una de las más capaces en el mercado.
Sin duda, una gran herramienta de trabajo que mejoró con seguridad pasiva completa, con tecnología y se pone a punto para pelear por el liderato de su segmento con argumentos sólidos e interesantes.

Además, ahora hay tres nuevas versiones, la RHO #ram1500rho que en teoría sustituyó la TRX, una variante de la Rebel, la #ram1500rebelx más preparada aún para enfrentar los caminos difíciles y la lujosa #ram1500tungsten

Fiat Chrysler llama a revisar 1.400.000 vehículos en Estados Unidos después de demostrarse la posibilidad de manipular el sistema informático a distancia. Dos investigadores lograron tomar el control a distancia de un Jeep Cherokee, en una iniciativa de la revista ‘Wired’. Los dos investigadores impusieron al conductor, un periodista de ‘Wired’, toda una serie de cambios hasta parar el motor y desactivar los frenos.
Los vehículos concernidos, y que fueron vendidos entre 2013 y 2015, son el Jeep Cherokee y Grand Cherokee, la camioneta RAM 1500, el Dodge Viper, el Durango, el Challanger y el Chrysler 200 y 300. El grupo automovilístico informa de que ha actualizado el programa informático afectado para equiparlo de un dispositivo que impida el acceso a distancia.
