Camboya inaugura en Siem Reap un aeropuerto financiado por China

El primer ministro camboyano, Hun Manet, y funcionarios chinos inauguraron el 16 de noviembre el aeropuerto internacional de Siem Reap-Angkor. El proyecto, financiado por China con 1.100 millones de dólares, está diseñado para acoger a siete millones de pasajeros al año, con planes para ampliar su capacidad a 12 millones de pasajeros en 2040. Posicionado como la principal puerta de entrada al complejo de templos de Angkor Wat en Camboya, el aeropuerto inició sus operaciones comerciales en octubre.

Camboya dobla el precio de la entrada a los templos de Angkor

Siem Reap (Camboya), 1 feb (EFE).- Las autoridades de Camboya comenzaron hoy a aplicar las nuevas tarifas de entrada a los templos de Angkor, declarados patrimonio de la Humanidad por la Unesco, con un aumento de los precios, el primero en 25 años, que casi dobla el anterior.

Este monumento se construyó en el 1958 aunque la independencia fue en el 53. Tiene la forma de la torre central de Agkor Wat en Siem Reap.

TikToker Multado Por Decir Que Un Templo Camboyano Está En Tailandia

Las autoridades vietnamitas multaron por 300 dólares a un hombre que publicó un vídeo en el que sugería que Angkor Wat, un antiguo templo camboyano, estaba en Tailandia.
El medio de comunicación estatal Lao Dong informó de que Hua Quoc Anh, un creador de contenidos vietnamita, publicó un TikTok de su sesión de fotos.
El vídeo en Siem Reap, la segunda ciudad más grande de Camboya, se superponía con imágenes de la bandera tailandesa y utilizaba la frase "Hola, Tailandia."
Quoc Anh fue acusado de proporcionar "información falsa" e "insultar la reputación de organizaciones y el honor y la dignidad de las personas".
El gobierno vietnamita dijo que el creador tenía que "cumplir estrictamente la normativa legal pertinente al utilizar Internet", según Lao Dong.
Quoc Anh dijo en un post de Facebook que "tiene demasiadas emociones en el corazón que no pueden describirse en unas pocas líneas".

Goldman Sachs Sued by SEC for Fraud

The government has accused Goldman Sachs & Co. of defrauding investors by failing to disclose conflicts of interest in mortgage investments it sold as the housing market was faltering.

The Securities and Exchange Commission said in a civil complaint Friday that Goldman failed to disclose that one of its clients helped create -- and then bet against -- subprime mortgage securities that Goldman sold to investors.

Investors in the mortgage securities lost more than $1 billion, the SEC said. The agency is seeking to recoup profits reaped on the deal.

Goldman Sachs denied the allegations. In a statement, it called the SEC's charges "completely unfounded in law and fact" and said it will contest them.

The charges are a blow to the reputation of the most powerful firm on Wall Street, which earned a record $4.79 billion last quarter and has long profited from high-octane trading.

How to Boost Brain Power

Our kids brain grows at a phenomenal rate during the first three years of their life. The early experiences in these early years help lay the brains foundation. During these critical brain-growth periods, long, thin nerve pathways grow inside the brain. These are wirings that connect and carry electrical impulses from brain cell to brain cell. The daily growing network forms the neurological foundation of skills that our kids will use for the rest of their life. Food that are good for the brain are:\r
- Food rich in omega-3 fatty acids (also associated with lower risk of depression and better mood, the expression of emotion and concentration). Omega-3 fatty acids are found mainly in fatty fish like salmon, omega-3 thats found in plants like flaxseed, walnuts, canola oil and soy.\r
- Nuts and seeds are good sources of vitamin E. Walnuts, hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, filberts, almonds, cashews, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, flax seed. \r
Avocados. The avocado is a fatty fruit its a monounsaturated fat, which contributes to healthy blood flow means a healthy brain. \r
Blueberries. Brain berries” - in animal studies researchers have found that blueberries help protect the brain from oxidative stress and may reduce the effects of age-related conditions such as Alzheimers disease or dementia. Studies have also shown that diets rich in blueberries significantly improved both the learning capacity and motor skills of aging rats, making them mentally equivalent to much younger rats. \r
Butter is an unexpected source of cognitive enhancement, and contains one ingredient that studies show is beneficial for cognitive function and gut health called butyrate. Butyrate is a short chain saturated fat and anti-inflammatory. The highest concentration of butyrate is in high quality grass-fed butter.\r
