If your seagate hard disk not detected, first of all, power it on and listen to it with your ear right next to it. Does it spin?\r
\r
If not, then it would be for one of the 3 reasons. Seized motor, unparked heads, or dead PCB (printed circuit board). There are also things like dead preamp, but on most brands of drives it would not prevent the spin up process.\r
\r
I will begin with explaining what seized motor is. Seized motor on the hard drive is fairly common issue that you would find on Seagate hard drive generations 7200.8 7200.9 7200.10 7200.11 7200.12, as well as some hitachi/IBM 2.5” hard drives.\r
Seized motor would upon start up process with create a faint buzzing, and in some cases beeping sound. I would highly suggest that you seek professional help at this point. This is one of the most difficult tasks to perform on the hard drive, and without necessary equipment you will kill your hard drive in attempt to recover it.\r
\r
However, these sounds are identical to the ones that the sound would make when heads are not parked properly. All modern hard drives offer touchless heads technology, meaning that the heads are never suppose to come in cont with the disk surface. In the past 3.5” hard drives used to park heads closer towards the center of the drive, and they would land right onto the platter surface that had air pockets to prevent sticking. That technology slowly started to get outdated and less reliable than touchless, so now hard drives park heads on the external parking ramp. Touchless technology offers more durability for the heads when the drive is off power. If it is dropped external parking ramp, that suspends heads in the air, is much better option than having heads sit on the ual disk surface. (this section is best to be read on our blog page here because I have pictures explaining the difference)\r
\r
Unlike 2 issues above, dead PCB, will turn your drive completely silent. PCB failure would usually be caused by power surges, or plugging in a wrong external hard drive power supply. Dead PCB can be either replaced, or repaired on component level. Luckily, TVS Diodes would protect most hard drives PCBs for mishaps like this, so they need to be tested first. A transient-voltage-suppression (TVS) diode or thyrector is an electronic component used to protect electronics from voltage spikes induced on connected wires. Multimeter with continuity test option will quickly determine if you have a damaged diode or not. Ideally, if you detect the damaged diode it would need to be replaced with an identical one, but in our case since I just needed to recover the data from this external hard drive. After the failed diode was removed, clients drive began to spin and get detected by our imaging equipment.\r

in my case ill remove Windows 10 from my windows 7 dual boot\r

STEPS..\r

1. Open start menu and type msconfig\r
then run it\r
2. now go to boot option\r
3. which windows os you want to delete\r
4. then click on Delete\r
5. then click ok\r
6. Now windows 10 boot loader is removed\r
but the files of that system are still available in the system\r
just back up your data from that drive and format it\r
\r
in my case the drive is d drive\r
you have all done..\r

Now Restart your pc for once \r

In this video tutorial I will show you how to upgrade or downgrade software with Odin on Samsung Galaxy G930F, G935F (Android 6.0.1).You can use this operation if you have various problems with the phone software.\r

With this method you can fix Dm verity verification failed!\r
To install firmware on Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 edge with Odin you need a computer, internet connection, micro USB data cable, Odin 3.11.1 and the firmware that you want to install on your phone.\r
If you get the message FAIL is because you have the security patch level installed on your phone.So to pass the FAIL message you must enable the Developer Options in your menu and then turn on OEM unlock and USB debugging\r

How to update:\r
Go to and you must create an account. Search for your phone model then select your country and desired firmware and click on download button.\r
After the download is complete:\r
-Extr (unzip) the firmware file\r
-Download Odin v 3.11.1\r

The best way to know when to change up gears in a stick shift is when the engine sound is louder and it sounds like its working too hard. When to change down gear is once youve slowed down, the engine starts to struggle and it makes a lower sound or when you stop and need to go again (always move off in 1st gear).\r

How to change gears in a manual/stick shift car:\r
When changing up gear you would normally come off gas, press down the clutch, change gear, release the clutch gently and then back on gas.\r

To change down gear try using a slight amount of gas as you raise the clutch as this can result in a smooth gear change. \r

When to change down gear in a manual car:\r
You would normally have to change down gears once you have slowed down and then youd have to change to a gear that matched your speed or you could change down if you need more power to overtake. You can also block gear change, for example 3rd to 1st. It basically means skipping gears. Its possible to do this changing up gear as long as you have enough speed for that gear.\r

When to change up gears in a manual car:\r
Speed up first and build up momentum and then you can change gear. Over revving your car can use up more fuel. If youre going uphill or you have extra weight in your car then make sure that you speed up a little extra first before changing up gears.\r

You can stop in any gear, but if you want to move off again then make sure youre in 1st gear or the car could stall (switch off).\r

Make sure youre prepared for whats ahead in in the correct gear. If youre about to turn or go onto a roundabout then slow down and change down gear before.\r

Low gears are best for steep hills as offer the most amount of torque. If youre driving uphill then make sure you speed up and build up momentum before changing up gear or the car will slow down and possibly stall.\r
