Sorprende a tus invitados con este espectacular Red Velvet Cake. Quizá uno de los postres más internacionales del mundo. Este postre típico de los Estados Unidos se ha popularizado por todo el mundo debido a ese bizcocho esponjo y ese irresistible y equilibrado sabor que combina la vainilla, el cacao y una dulce crema de queso. Esta es la tarta con la que siempre has estado soñando. Y es que sus tres pisos de bizcocho te harán morir de placer!
¿Y porqué este pastel se llama Red (rojo) Velvet (terciopelo)? De una parte, porque los bizcochos con los que está hecha son de una textura extra suave y delicada; y de otra, porque al cortar la tarta descubres un interior de rojo intenso. Eso lo hemos conseguido haciendo uso de colorante alimentario pero también se puede conseguir con… remolacha!
Respecto a la presentación te traemos 2 propuestas:
La versión romántica con unas bellas y coloridas rosas y unas frambuesas frescas
La sangrienta versión para Halloween lo hemos conseguido vertiendo un coulis de frambuesa por encima.

Ingredientes:
Para los 3 bizcochos:
- 300 gr de harina de trigo
- 16 gr de cacao en polvo sin azúcar
- 120 ml de aceite de girasol
- 250 g de azúcar
- 2 huevos
- 5 gr de bicarbonato
- 4 gr de vinagre (de vino blanco)
- 1 cdita colorante en gel alimentario rojo
- 10 gr extracto de vainilla
Leche cortada:
- 250 ml de leche
- 10 ml de zumo de limón
Para la crema de queso:
- 125 gr de mantequilla pomada
- 300 gr de azúcar glas
- 125 gr de queso Philadelphia
Para la decoración:
- coulis de frambuesa

Since it has been a really miserable week here in the UK, this week I decided to make Rainbow Cake to brighten things up a bit.I had so much fun making this cake and I cannot wait to make it again. It tasted out of this world, looked incredible and it was even pretty simple to do. Next time, I think Ill cover the cake in pale blue icing to look like the sky.
