Reseña Sega Genesis Model 2

Hoy El Cuarto de Consolas trae la reseña del SEGA Genesis Model 2 es una version compacta del SEGA Genesis original de 1988, esta mas nueva salió en 1994 en Estados Unidos, en otros continentes salió con el nombre de SEGA Mega Drive Model 2.

Esta video consola es la sucesora directa de la Sega Master System y compitió contra la SNES de Nintendo, como parte de las video consolas de cuarta generación. En Europa, incluyendo España, la consola llegó en 1990. En todos los países de América excepto Brasil, la consola fue comercializada bajo el nombre de Sega Genesis, y tuvo un amplio mercado. La primera versión de la Mega Drive vio la luz en Japón en octubre de 1988. Fue la sucesora de la Sega Master System y la primera video consola de 16 bits de Sega, siendo la consola más reconocida y alabada de Sega. Fue descontinuada en 1998.

19 Unreleased Sega Genesis Games (Re-cut, better quality)

There were quite a few unreleased games for the Sega Genesis (known as the Mega Drive outside the US.) Here we take a look at 19 of them and see if we can shed some light on why some of them were cancelled.\r

This video was originally published in November of new but had some technical issues during editing which caused some sync issues between which game I was talking about and what was onscreen. Ive edited it and the audio is much better sync now. Thanks for the feedback on the original upload everyone.

TOP 9 SEGA MEGADRIVE / GENESIS | STREET FIGHTER II' PLUS SPECIAL CHAMPION EDITION (CAPCOM, 1993)

Street Fighter II': Champion Edition (ストリートファイターIIダッシュ -CHAMPION EDITION-?) es una subversión del videojuego Street Fighter II The World Warrior, perteneciente a la serie Street Fighter. En esta versión se perfeccionaron los 8 personajes originales y se dio acceso a la utilización de los 4 jefes finales, gracias a lo cual cuenta con 12 personajes a elegir.

El origen se debió al estilo en que se trabajan los arcades de sacar varias versiones de un juego para incluir mejoras y corregir fallos, mientras algunas compañías no avisaban los cambios de versión en sus juegos (como mucho ponían versión 2.0), Capcom sí lo hizo y puso un nuevo subtítulo. Entre los cambios de éste juego con el original (The World Warrior), se puede mencionar:

Se puede seleccionar a los cuatro jefes finales sin necesidad de truco alguno desde el principio.
En la batalla: nuevas rutinas de ataques e inteligencia artificial del personaje controlado por la CPU, cambios en los escenarios.
Ambos jugadores pueden seleccionar el mismo personaje, que se diferencia en su color.
Corrección de varios errores.
Aunque la primera versión para Super Nintendo se basaba en The World Warrior, se incluyó algunos elementos de la Champion Edition.

Street Fighter II': Champion Edition (ストリートファイターIIダッシュ -CHAMPION EDITION-?) is a competitive fighting game released for the arcades by Capcom in 1992. It was the first of several updated versions of the original Street Fighter II: The World Warrior. The main changes consisted of the addition of the Grand Masters (the final four computer-controlled opponents in the single-player mode) as playable characters and mirror matches (same character vs. matches). The fighting techniques of the eight main characters from the original game were also further refined to allowed for more balanced competitive play.

Champion Edition was followed by Street Fighter II′ Turbo: Hyper Fighting, released several months later.

Escapa al Tianguis - Aura Interactor

Otra escapada al tianguis, el compa con el que hable la otra semana trajo este amplificador Aura Interactor, con caja, manual y aditementos originales.

Es una pasada la calidad de audio que genera, para esa epoca (1994) funciona excelente, lo probe con el que considero es el juego que tiene la mejor banda sonora.

Galaxy Force (ギャラクシーフォース?) is a sprite-scaling rail shooter arcade game, released by Sega in 1988 and built upon the Sega Y Board. The game which is in the tradition of Sega's successful Space Harrier is set in space. The game was ported in 1989 to the Sega Master System and in 1990 to the Mega Drive/Genesis, Amiga, Atari ST, Commodore 64, Amstrad CPC, ZX Spectrum, FM Towns, Sega Saturn and PlayStation 2 platforms.

Two other versions of the arcade game were released as Galaxy Force II Deluxe Edition and Galaxy Force Super Deluxe Edition. Galaxy Force II was also released on the Virtual Console via Sega Genesis/Mega Drive in Japan on February 3, 2009, in Europe on May 1, 2009 and in North America on May 11, 2009.[6] Galaxy Force II was released on Nintendo 3DS as part of the 3D Classics series. It was released in July 2013 in Japan and in December 2013 in Australia, Europe and North America.

The evil Fourth Empire, ruled by Halcyon, begins a campaign of galactic conquest, after laying waste to almost all of the star systems in the galaxy, An interstellar organization, known as the Space Federation, launches Galaxy Force, an elite starfighter corps specializing in space combat to free the galaxy from the oppressive rule of Halcyon and the Fourth Empire. A lone fighter wages a one-man war against Halcyon and his forces.

Description from the American release:

"In this distant Galaxy exist many systems harboring life. Trade and communication have arisen between these star systems, as has a great, dark force threatening these distant civilizations. To fight this dark menace the Space Federation was formed, but has met with little success. The enemy calls itself THE FOURTH EMPIRE and has now attacked JUNOS, jewel of the Galaxy. The JUNOS star system, once so beautiful... is only ashes now. And on these ashes THE FOURTH EMPIRE is building the strongest fortress of all time, from which to complete their conquest of the galaxy. The Space Federation must end this evil menace! Thus is launched Galaxy Force, to strike a hammer blow against the forces threatening civilization. Fortunately, having done this duty of saving JUNOS people and destroying THE FOURTH EMPIRE, a combatant of Galaxy Force returned to the ship."
