    Ingredients: For 6 to 8 servings\r
    \r
    Boneless fish: ½ kg\r
    Sliced dry coconut: 3/4th cup\r
    Peanuts: 3/4th cup\r
    Sesame seeds (til): 1 cup\r
    Fenugreek seeds (methi): 1 teaspoon\r
    Cumin seeds (sabith zeera): 1 teaspoon + 2 teaspoons\r
    Coriander seeds (sabith dhaniya) : 2 tablespoons\r
    Onions:2\r
    Dry tamarind: 1 cup\r
    Salt: 1 ½ teaspoon + 2 teaspoons\r
    Turmeric powder: 1 teaspoon + 1 teaspoon\r
    Wheat flour:\r
    Cooking oil: 5 tablespoons\r
    Ginger garlic paste: 1 ½ tablespoons\r
    Red chilli powder: 3 teaspoons\r
    Curry leaves: a handful\r
    Chopped coriander: a handful\r
    Whole green chillies: 3\r

    Procedure:\r
    \r
    1. Soak dry tamarind in 2 cups of water for about half an hour.\r
    \r
    2. Make medium size pieces of boneless fish. Add 1 ½ teaspoon salt, one teaspoon turmeric powder, mix well and keep this aside for about half an hour. \r
    \r
    \r
    3. After half an hour, add one cup wheat flour and wash thoroughly. Keep this aside.\r
    \r
    4. In a frying pan, add sliced dry coconut. Roast till they turn brown.\r
    \r
    \r
    5. Roast peanuts till they turn brown and remove the skin.\r
    \r
    6. Roast sesame seeds on low flame.\r
    \r
    \r
    7. Roast fenugreek seeds, one teaspoon cumin seeds or zeera, 2 tablespoons coriander seeds or sabith dhaniya till brown.\r
    \r
    8. Roast sliced onion till brown.\r
    \r
    \r
    9. Grind all these into a fine paste using required amount of water.\r
    \r
    10. Extr tamarind water from the soaked tamarind.\r
    \r
    \r
    11. In a cooking pan, add oil. When the oil is hot, add 2 teaspoons cumin seeds or sabith zeera.\r
    \r
    12. Let them splutter and add ginger garlic paste.\r
    \r
    \r
    13. Stir for about 15 seconds and add 1 teaspoon turmeric powder, add the grinded paste.\r
    \r
    14. Keep stirring for about 10 minutes till the oil separates.\r
    \r
    \r
    15. Add red chilli powder, 2 teaspoons salt. Stir for about 15 seconds.\r
    \r
    16. Add tamarind water and add 3 tea cups of water.\r
    \r
    \r
    17. Mix well and add curry leaves, chopped coriander and whole green chillies.\r
    \r
    18. Add fish pieces to the gravy and close the lid.\r
    \r
    \r
    19. Cook on medium flame for about one minute and on low flame for about 10 to 15 minutes.\r
    \r
    Machhi ka Khatta Salan or Fish Sour Curry is ready.

    Cooking recipe and ingredients:
    500 g of cauliflower divided into inflorescences
    rinse, fill with water
    1 teaspoon of salt
    1-2 cloves of garlic
    1 tablespoon of vinegar
    cook to medium soft (10-15 minutes)
    1 egg
    1/2 cup milk (120 ml) (adjust depending on the thickness of the dough)
    1 teaspoon of salt
    1/2 teaspoon black pepper
    1 teaspoon paprika
    1 teaspoon of dried garlic
    1 tablespoon parsley or coriander (fresh)
    1 cup of flour (100-120 g)
    Dip the cauliflower in batter
    Fry until golden brown on all sides in olive oil

    A easy step by step video tutorial showing you how to make homemade crumpets.\r

    Ingredients:\r
    360g plain flour\r
    2 teaspoons ive dry yeast\r
    580ml warm milk\r
    1.5 teaspoons salt\r
    1 teaspoon sugar\r
    1 teaspoon bicarbonate of soda\r

    Method:\r
    1) Combine the yeast and sugar with 250ml of the warm milk in a bowl. Do make sure the milk is just warm, not hot. Cover and leave in a warm place to rest for about 10 minutes until frothy\r

    2) Sift the flour, salt and bicarbonate of soda into another bowl then make a well in the centre and add the yeasty mix along with the rest of the warm milk. Mix this to a thick batter using a wooden spoon. \r

    3) Cover it with cling film and allow to rest in a warm place for about an hour\r
    \r
    4) Heat a pan over a medium heat then turn down fairly low, add oil to pan and ring (if using a ring)\r
    \r
    5) Allow to cook for about 8 minutes or so or until they appear dry on top, then flip them over to toast lightly for a minute on the other side\r

    6) Remove to a wire rack to cool\r

    7) They can then be re-heated under a grill to crisp up more before serving.\r

    Japchae - Korean Glass Noodles with Stir-fried Vegetables) \r
    \r
    Ingredients \r
    \r
    For Beef: 1/2 lb. beef, cut into 3 long thin strips (Such as sirloin or chuck)\r
    1 Tablespoon soy sauce\r
    1 Tablespoon sugar\r
    1/2 Tablespoon sesame oil \r
    1/2 Tablespoon mirin (Seasoned rice wine, if you dont have it, leave it out)\r
    1 clove garlic, chopped\r
    \r
    2 eggs, lightly beaten\r
    1/2 medium size onion, thinly sliced\r
    1 Korean chili pepper or 1/4 bell pepper, fine julienne \r
    1/2 large size carrot, fine julienne\r
    5 shiitake mushrooms, thinly sliced\r
    \r
    For Spinach: 11-12 oz. fresh spinach (About a bunch)\r
    1 clove garlic, chopped \r
    1/4 teaspoon salt\r
    1 teaspoon sesame oil\r
    1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds\r
    pinch of black pepper\r
    \r
    14 oz. Korean Sweet Potato Noodles (Known as glass noodles or cellophane noodles) \r
    \r
    For Sauce: 1/3 cup soy sauce\r
    1/3 cup sugar or honey\r
    2 Tablespoons sesame oil\r
    1 Tablespoon sesame seeds\r
    black pepper\r
    \r
    Salt, black pepper and vegetable or sesame oil as much needed\r
    \r
    Directions\r
    1. Combine beef and next 5 ingredients for beef in a medium mixing bowl. Toss and coat evenly; let stand at least 10 minutes.\r
    \r
    2. Heat a medium nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. add 1 teaspoon oil; swirl to coat. Add beaten eggs swirl skillet to egg covers surface in a thin layer. Cook until its just set, about 1 minute, then flip over and cook for another minute. Slip omelet onto a plate and let it cool.\r

    3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add 1 teaspoon oil; swirl to coat. Add onion and a pinch of salt to pan; sauté 5 minutes. Remove onion from pan, keep warm. Add 1 teaspoon oil to pan; swirl to coat. Add chili pepper and a pinch of salt to pan; sauté 1 minute. Remove chili pepper from pan, keep warm. Add 1 teaspoon oil to pan; swirl to coat. Add 1 teaspoon oil to pan; swirl to coat. Add carrots and a pinch of salt to pan; sauté 3 minutes. Remove carrot from pan, keep warm. Add 1 teaspoon oil; swirl to coat. Add mushrooms and a pinch of salt* to pan; sauté 2 minutes. Remove from pan, keep warm. Add 1 teaspoon oil; swirl to coat. Add marinated beef to pan; sauté 7 minutes or until cooked through and all moisture has evaporated. Remove from pan, keep warm. \r

    4. Bring a large sauce pan of salted water to a boil. Add spinach, cook about 10 seconds, no much longer. Move spinach from the boiling water to ice water immediately. Squeeze out water from spinach as much as you can. Combine squeezed spinach with garlic and next 4 ingredients in a mixing bowl, mix it with you hand. Set aside.\r

    5. In same water blenched spinach, add Korean sweet potato noodles and 1 Tablespoon oil. Boil noodles according to package directions or 6 to 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.\r

    6. whisk all ingredients for sauce (From soy to black pepper) in a small bowl, set aside. Slice cooled egg omelet into thin ribbons and set aside.\r
    \r
    7. Cut the noodles as needed. In a large mixing bowl or a large plate add noodles and pour sauce. gently mix it until noodles absolve sauce; add stir-fried vegetables and beef, toss gently to combine. Garnish Japchae with reserved egg ribbons and more sesame seeds as desired. \r
    Serve hot or at room temperature. \r

    · 2 cucharaditas de sal 2 TEASPOONS OF SALT
    · 1 cucharadita de pimienta 1 TEASPOON OF PEPPER
    · 4 cucharadas de aceite vegetal 4 TABLESPOONS OF VEGETABLE OIL
    Relleno
    · 4 plátanos machos cortados en cuartos 4 PLANTAINS
    · 5 rebanadas de queso manchego 5 SLICES OF MANCHEGO CHEESE
    · 1 cucharada de aceite vegetal 1 TABLESPOON OF VEGETABLE OIL
    · 1 cucharadita de mantequilla 1 TEASPOON OF BUTTER
    · 1 cucharadita de sal 1 TEASPOON OF SALT
    · 1 cucharadita de pimienta 1 TEASPOON OF PEPPER
    Salsa /gravy
    · 2 dientes de ajo rallados 2 CLOVES OF GARLIC
    · ¼ cebolla rallada ¼ ONION
    · 2 cucharadas de mantequilla 2 TABLESPOONS OF BUTTER
    · ½ cucharada de aceite vegetal ½ TABLESPOON OF VEGETABLE OIL
    · ½ taza de jarabe de maple ½ CUP OF MAPLE SYRUP
    · 1 ½ taza de caldo de pollo 1 ½ OF CHICKEN STOCK
    · 3 cucharadas de fécula de maíz 3 TABLESPOONS OF CORNSTARCH

    Preparación
    1. CUECE los plátanos machos en agua hirviendo con un poco de sal por 15 minutos; drena el agua, pélalos y machácalos.
    2. AGREGA sal, pimienta y la mantequilla a los plátanos y déjalos enfriar a temperatura ambiente.
    3. CORTA el lomo de cerdo por la mitad para que quede abierto y lo puedas rellenar; sazónalo con sal y pimienta por ambos lados.
    4. ESPARCE el puré de plátano sobre el lomo de cerdo y encima agrega las rebanadas de queso manchego; enrolla el lomo y asegúralos con palillos o hilo de caña.
    5. COLOCA el lomo en una charola para horno y hornea a 200°C por 35 minutos o hasta que la temperatura interior marque 70°C.
    6. RETIRA el lomo del horno, transfiérelo a un platón y cúbrelo con papel aluminio.
    7. COLOCA la charola donde se horneo el lomo sobre la estufa y agrega la mantequilla, el aceite vegetal la cebolla y el ajo; sofríe por dos minutos.
    8. AGREGA la maicena y cocínala por dos minutos más. Añade el caldo de pollo y la miel maple; cocina a fuego medio por cuatro minutos hasta que espese ligeramente.
    9. BAÑA el lomo de cerdo relleno de plátano y queso con un poco del gravy y sirve el resto en una salsera.

  • Easy Apple Pie Filling/Pastry Filling

    You can make this for pennies compared to the cost of buying a can. \r
    4 medium apples peeled and cored and cut \r
    3 Tablespoon water\r
    2 Tablespoons butter\r
    1 teaspoon cinnamon\r
    1/3 cup granulated sugar\r
    1 Tablespoon + 1 teaspoon Cornstarch \r
    1 Tablespoon of water ( If you like it thinner use 2 Tablespoon water )\r
    In a pot on the stove add butter, cinnamon till melted.\r
    Add sugar and water stir add apples cook on low for 4-6 minutes till apples are tender not mushy. Cover your pot Simmer stir from time to time.\r
    Once apples are the right texture remove lid and mix Cornstarch and water till smooth add to cooked apples. Cover pot again on Simmer for 1-5 minutes depending as it cooks it will thicken.\r
    Serve hot over Ice Cream, waffles or pancakes. Can be used for turnover Filling and pie filling. Lots of uses for desserts

    I love having a big batch of frozen pizzas in my freezer to pop in the oven. Its so simple to make your own and you know exly what is in them. No preservatives or odd ingredients! Plus, you can top your pizzas the way that you like. It is much cheaper than picking up a pizza or having one delivered, too.\r

    Bread Machine Pizza Dough:\r

    1 cup plus 2 Tablespoons water\r
    2 Tablespoons olive oil\r
    3 cups bread flour\r
    1 tsp. salt\r
    1 tsp. sugar\r
    2 1/4 tsp. ive dry yeast\r
    \r
    Place all ingredients in bread machine pan and select dough setting.\r

    Gluten Free Pizza Crust Recipe: \r

    1 1/2 cups brown rice flour blend\r
    1 teaspoon xanthan gum\r
    2 teaspoons sugar\r
    2 1/4 teaspoon ive dry yeast\r
    1 teaspoon olive oil\r
    1/4 cup plus 1 Tablespoon hot water (about 110 degrees)\r

    Grease pizza pan.\r
    \r
    Mix all dry ingredients in the bowl of your electric mixer. Pour in olive oil and water and mix until combined. Scrape bowl and mixer and beat on high for 2 minutes.\r

    Spoon dough into pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 30-40 minutes. Crust should double in height.\r
    \r
    Bake crust at 425 degrees for 15 minutes.\r
    Add toppings. (If you are planning to freeze it, you can do that now)\r
    Bake at 425 for 8-10 minutes.\r

    This will make 1 large or 2 individual pizzas like I show in the video.

    for Pressure cooker. Preheat the cooker for 10 minutes before Baking. Bake the Lava Cake for 5 minutes on medium flame , then on low flame for 6 minutes. Total baking time is 11 minutes.\r
    Do not bake it for more than 11 minutes, or the lava will dry out.\r

    Take your metal bowl add in your egg yolks and mix in your salt and sugar, then add in your cornstarch and mix until you cannot see the cornstarch any longer.\r
    Add in your milk and stir until smooth.\r
    Put your egg custard mixture over a pot with simmering water and cook until thick. \r
    Add in your butter during this process.\r
    \r
    Take your brandy gelatin and put it into the microwave for 10 seconds, then add it to your egg custard along with your vanilla extr.\r
    Allow to cool to room temperature.\r
    Cover with plastic wrap and put into the refrigerator for 4 hours till cold.\r
    \r
    Whipped Cream:\r
    1 and 1/2 cups heavy cream\r
    1 and 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extr\r
    1 and 1/2 Tablespoons powdered confectioners sugar\r
    \r
    Mix your cream and vanilla till it starts getting thick, then add your sugar and mix until really thick. Takes about 2 minutes to make your fresh whipped cream.\r
    \r
    Get your egg custard out of the refrigerator.\r
    Break it up with your mixer to loosen because it will be really thick.\r
    Add in 1/4 to 1/3 of your whipped cream.\r
    Put your egg custard into your baked pie shell.\r
    Top with the rest of the whipped cream and chill your pie for one hour in the refrigerator or longer, then you can serve your delicious homemade Banana Cream Pie.\r

  • How to get pink lips naturally at home | Mamtha Nair

    Hi guys welcome back to my channel. Today I am going to share with you guys on how to get pink lips very easily at home. First you will need a lip scrub and its very easy to make. \r

    Lip Scrub\r
    Ingredients\r
    Sugar : 4 Teaspoon\r
    Salt: 4 Teaspoon\r
    Olive oil: 1 teaspoon\r
    honey : ¼ teaspoon\r
    a small piece of lemon.\r
    Mix all the above ingredients very well. You can store this lip scrub into a clean container and store it in room temperature up to a month.\r
    \r
    Lip Balm\r
    Ingredients:\r
    Bees wax: 1 teaspoon grated or a small piece \r
    Pure organic coconut oil : 2 teaspoon\r
    if you dont have coconut oil you can even use Almond oil or jojoba oil.\r
    Essential oil of your choice: 5 drops ( optional ) \r
    You need something to store in the lip balm. You can either use an old clean lip balm container or any clean container whichever is convenient for you.\r
    Now lets make it. Take a clean bowl and add hot water into it. Here I am using double boiler to melt the bees wax but if you want to use microwave then go ahead and use it. Place in the bowl with a small piece of bees wax in it. You can even grate the bees wax to make the melting process a bit faster, if you are grating it then take 1 teaspoon of grated bees wax. Be patient because this is a time consuming process but once its done, you will love the results. After its 50% melt then go ahead and add 2 Teaspoons of Coconut oil into it and mix well.\r
    Add around 5 drops of essential oil of your choice. Now after it has 100% melt then transfer it into a clean container.\r
    If you want to add a bit of color into the lip balm then go ahead and add a small piece of your favorite lipstick into it and stir well until its completely incorporated in with the mixture. You can transfer this into a clean container. Refrigerate it for about 5mins so that it can turn into a solid form. You can store this in room temperature up to an year.\r
    Now lets apply, first apply the lip scrub before applying the lip balm. Take a pea sized amount on to your finger and start scrubbing on to your lips. Dont worry if you get it inside your month as 100% edible and very tasty. Scrub it for good 2 to 3 mins. Lip scrubs remove the dead outer surface of your lips making your lips soft & smooth. It makes your lips more moist and retain its moisture longer; helping to prevent cracked lips.\r
    Wash it off with normal water. Then now apply a generous amount of lip balm on to your lips. beeswax lip balm will effectively soften your lips, not just temporarily, but permanently. Do this at night before going to bed to get beautiful pink lips. \r

    7. Violet, sky blue, leaf green, pink and lemon yellow gel food colorings\r
    8. 1 1/2 tablespoons banana-flavored Nesquik powder or 2 teaspoons banana essence (optional)\r
    9. 2 teaspoons strawberry essence (optional)\r
    10. Red, orange, yellow, green and blue M & Ms\r
    11. Purple and pink Smarties, to decorate\r
    To make buttercream icing:\r
    1. 500g (17.64 oz) unsalted butter, softened\r
    2. 6 cups powdered icing mixture\r
    3. 2 teaspoons clear vanilla extr\r
    Method:\r
    1. Preheat oven to 180C (350F). Grease two 7 cm (2 3/4 inch)-deep, 20 cm (8 inch)-round cake pans (I use two 20cm (8 inch) spring baking pans). Line base and sides with 2 layers of baking paper.\r
    2. Using an electric mixer, beat butter, vanilla and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating until combined after each addition. Add flour. Beat on low speed, gradually adding milk, until just combined. Divide mixture between 5 bowls. Using food coloring, tint 1 portion purple and remaining portions blue, green, pink and yellow. Add banana-flavored powder or banana essence to yellow mixture(optional) and strawberry essence to pink mixture (optional), stirring to combine. Note: Strawberry and banana flavoring to approximate bubblegum. \r
    3. Using half of each colored mixture, drop tablespoons of the mixtures, alternating colors, into 1 prepared cake pan. Repeat with remaining mixtures and second cake pan. Run a butter knife back and forth through both mixtures to create a slight marbled effect (dont over-marble). Bake cakes together for 1 hour or until a skewer inserted into the center of each cake comes out clean (cover cakes loosely with foil if over-browning). Stand in pans for 10 minutes. Turn, top-side up, onto a wire rack to cool completely.\r
    4. To make buttercream icing: Using electric mixer, beat butter for 5 minutes or until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in icing sugar until pale and fluffy. Add vanilla. Beat until combined. \r
    5. Using a serrated knife, level tops of cakes if necessary. Place 1 cake on serving plate. Spread 3/4 cup of icing over top of cake. Top with second cake. Spread remaining icing over top and side of cake. Decorate top with M & Ms and Smarties. Use remaining colors for the row along the base. Makes about 24 serves.

    This is an old-fashioned butterscotch cake recipe. Every layer of the cake is infused with butterscotch flavor from the cake to the filling to the frosting to the crushed butterscotch candies for a beautiful sparkling cake. \r

    Butterscotch Sauce:\r
    Note - You can buy a quality sauce from the supermarket, just warm it for 15 seconds in the microwave before using in the recipe.\r
    \r
    1/4 cup unsalted butter\r
    1/2 cup packed light or dark brown sugar\r
    1/2 cup heavy cream\r
    1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extr\r
    \r
    Place all ingredients into a sauce pan. Whisk until mixed. Place on medium heat until it boils. Reduce heat to low and cook for 4-5 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. Sauce will be thin. This will be used in the cake and the frosting.\r
    \r
    Butterscotch Cake:\r
    \r
    15 ounce yellow cake mix\r
    1/2 cup sour cream or vanilla yogurt\r
    2-3.25 ounce packages Cook & Serve Butterscotch pudding\r
    1 cup sugar\r
    1 cup cake flour\r
    1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled\r
    3 eggs\r
    1 1/3 cup cream soda, regular not diet soda\r
    1 teaspoon vanilla\r
    \r
    Preheat oven to 325F. Spray 3 8-inch pans, 2 9-inch pans, or a 10-inch square pan with baking spray. Place all ingredients in a mixer and blend on medium until smooth. Pour into prepared pans. Bake for 30-40 minutes, or until done. After unmolding the cake, level it and drizzle sauce on the cake layers to infuse the cake with extra flavoring. \r

    Butterscotch Frosting\r
    \r
    1/2 cup butter, softened\r
    Remainder of butterscotch sauce, about 1/3 cup\r
    1 teaspoon vanilla\r
    16 oz. confectioners sugar\r
    3-4 tablespoons milk\r
    \r
    Cream together butter, butterscotch sauce, and vanilla until smooth. Alternate adding milk and sugar on low until combined.\r
    Turn up the speed and cream until fluffy.\r
    \r
    Drip Down Butterscotch Icing: (optional)\r
    \r
    2 oz. butterscotch chips\r
    1-2 tablespoons cream soda\r
    1/4 to 1/3 cup confectioners sugar\r
    2 teaspoons butter\r
    \r
    Place butterscotch chips and butter in a bowl. Microwave until melted 30-40 seconds. Add cream soda and blend well. Stir in sugar.\r
    \r
    Assembly:\r
    \r
    Place frosting in between the layers. Stack one layer on top another. If you want to have a butterscotch sauce on top, then place topping on the top layer. Coarse sugar can be sprinkled on top of the sauce. If you want frosting on top, then frost the top of the cake. Finally, frost the sides of the cake.\r
    \r
    Optionally, crush 16-20 pieces of butterscotch hard candy. Place unwrapped candy in a plastic bag and close the bag. Place a second plastic bag around it. Pound the candy until they break into small pieces. Finally place the crushed candies in the frosting. \r

    Drip the butterscotch icing on the sides.\r

    French Fries:\r

    Ingredients:\r
    6 russet potatoes \r
    4 tablespoons of white sugar\r
    2 tablespoons of light corn syrup\r
    Salt to taste\r
    Directions:\r
    Cut potatoes into fries, and let soak in cold water for 10 minutes and rinse. This will remove much of the starch. Now heat enough water to cover fries, to a boil. Turn off heat, and stir in sugar and corn syrup until dissolved. Now let fries soak in this mixture for 10 minutes. Drain water well, and deep fry for 2 minutes. Drain fries on paper towels, and place on a rack, and place into the freezer for 20 - 30 minutes. Now remove fries and deep fry until golden brown at 350 degrees F\r

    Ingredients:\r
    1 box of Jiffy corn muffin mix\r
    2 eggs\r
    ¼ cup of all purpose flour\r
    1 teaspoon of garlic powder\r
    1 teaspoon of onion powder\r
    ¼ teaspoon of sea salt\r
    ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper\r
    About 3 tablepoons of chopped green onions\r
    Directions:\r
    Mix all ingredients, but dont over mix. Heat oil up to 350 degrees F, and take a couple of spoons and spoon a small amount into the hot oil. Repeat until all the batter is used. Cook until golden brown, and flip as needed \r

    Fried Fish\r
    \r
    Ingredients:\r
    Seasoned corn flour\r
    Oil for frying (350 degrees F)\r
    \r
    Directions:\r
    I used Zatarains fish fry in this cook, and I have always used it. Coat your fish fillets with a light dusting of the corn flour, and then fry until golden brown. The fish will normally float when done.\r
    \r
    Fried Shrimp & Scallops\r
    \r
    For the Shrimp & Scallops, I used a combination of milk and buttermilk (50/50) and seasoned the milk with a cajun seasoning. I always use Essence of Emeril on fried seafood. Great flavor! A place all the shrimp into the milk mixture, and then one at a time, I will coat with a seasoned self rising flour (also seasoned with Essence of Emeril) then deep fry at 350 degrees F until golden brown. Note: All seafood taste even better, if you use cottonseed oil! Plus it will hold up to the heat better than most oils, and it has no flavor of its own, to impart into the seafood, like vegetable oil will do.\r

    Fried Oysters\r

    Ingredients\r
    Oysters\r
    1 egg\r
    ½ cup of beer\r
    Seasoned self rising flour\r
    \r
    Directions:\r
    Mix the 1 egg with the beer, and now dip each oyster into this egg beer mixture, and then lightly coat with the seasoned self rising flour, and fry until golden brown at 350 degrees F. Drain on paper towels and enjoy!\r

    Ingredients:\r
    1 pound picked crab meat\r
    1 chopped onion\r
    3 stalks of celery\r
    1 clove garlic, finely chopped\r
    3 springs thyme\r

    Heat a saute pan with a tablespoon of butter added and when hot, add the vegetables, chopped fine, and the seasonings. Saute for 10 minutes, the remove and let cool.\r
    Add the crab meat and the bread crumbs (squeeze to remove most of the milk) mixing gently so as not to break up the crab meat to much. Form into cakes and deep fry until golden brown. Note, they may take on a darker color than most seafood. Darker than golden brown.\r

    CHOCOLATE GANACHE RECIPE IN TOTAL:\r
    210 grams white chocolate / compound chocolate such as Nestle melts. \r
    70 grams heavy cream / whipping cream\r
    2-3 tablespoons copha / reconstituted vegetable oil\r
    \r
    BUTTERCREAM RECIPE:\r
    400 grams unsalted butter\r
    approximately 800 grams icing sugar / powdered sugar\r
    1 teaspoon vanilla extr\r
    2 - 3 tablespoons milk\r
    \r
    FOOD COLOURS USED:\r
    sky blue\r
    lemon yellow\r
    fuchsia \r
    turquoise \r
    \r
    FOR THE CAKE POPS:\r
    I used one 7inch boxed vanilla cake and crumbed it between my fingers and threw out the exterior. I only used the middle cake crumbs. I then added 3 teaspoons of white chocolate ganache. \r

    Since I purchased a new cake scraper it seems to be leaving little ridges on my cakes. I am going to guess that its either because:\r
    a) I am holding the bench scraper too far away from the cake. I think I need to hold it much closer / tighter as I scrape. \r
    b) The turn table might not be turning smoothly and the scraper has recorded the vibrations on the cake as it moves around unsteadily. Or the scraper is not moving smoothly across the cake board and thats showing on the side of the cake.\r

    I will use my old bench scraper and see if it makes a difference, but it was really peeving me lol.. \r

    Hello and welcome to In the Kitchen with Matt, I am your host Matt Taylor. Today I am going to teach you how to make Amazing applesauce muffins. They are super delicious, easy to make, and they are cheap. Lets get started. Ok, for the ingredients, we need four cups of flour, two cups of sugar, two large eggs, two cups of applesauce, one cup of melted butter, one teaspoon of vanilla extr, finally one teaspoon of cinnamon, and one teaspoon of baking soda. First what we are going to is we are going to cream the butter with the sugar. Now what we want to do is we want to add the eggs. Then, we are going to add one teaspoon of vanilla extr. Next, lets transfer this mixture of sugar, and butter, and extr, and we will go right in with the applesauce, we will get it all in there. Ok now, I am going to add my baking soda and my cinnamon to the flour. And I will wisk this up really well. And Now I am going to add my mixture to the flour. And lets mix it all together. Scrape the sides a little bit, so we can get the extra flour all mixed in. And lets go ahead and preheat the over to 350. Take our bowl here, and we can start filling the cups, about 3 quarters full. And then once you have all your cups filled with the batter, lets go ahead and put these in the oven, remember 350 degrees, and we will cook them for twenty to twenty-five minutes, until they are risen and they are about golden brown, and then what you are going to do is take a toothpick and stab it with a toothpick, pull it out, if it is nice and clean you are good to go. If there is a little bit of batter left on it, put it in for a couple of more minutes. See you when they are done. Ok the muffins are out of the oven and ready to be eaten. First, heres the breakdown. It took about 15 minutes for the prep and about 25 minutes for the baking time. Total cost $3.64, that makes it about 15 cents per muffin. That is awesome, 15 cents for a muffin. Now, I have never seen applesauce muffins at the store, at least my store, maybe they have some where you live. But uh, yeah, I mean 15 cents for a muffin, cant beat that. So if you have a bunch of applesauce lying around, and you dont want to eat it all, why dont you make some muffins, these things are fantastic. So I am going to have one. Oh yeah, oh, oh, mm, mmm, mmm. Yeah, these are amazing. Mm, mm, not super sweet, a little dense.     Para el caldo: fumet de pescado, 2 tomates maduros, 1 puerro, 1 ajo, 1/2 cebolla, 1 zanahoria, 1 tallo de apio, 1 copita de vino blanco, 2 cucharadas de aceite de oliva, 1 cucharadita de pimentón dulce, 1 litro y medio de agua, sal y pimienta.

    Ingredients: 2 fillets of grouperfish or hake, 4 slices of monkfish, 200 g of Norway lobster, 150 g of prawns, parsley, 1/2 glass of liquid cream, salt and pepper.
    For the broth: fish fumet, 2 ripe tomatoes, 1 leek, 1 garlic, 1/2 onion, 1 carrot, 1 stalk of celery, 1 glass of white wine, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika, 1 liter and a half of water, salt and pepper.

    1. Preheat oven to 350F. Line 2, 8-inch round cake pans with parchment paper without greasing the sides. Place eggs and sugar into mixer bowl and whisk on high speed until thick and pale, almost white in color. \r
    2. Combine flour and baking powder. Sift flour into egg batter in small batches, folding very gently until all flour is added. Immediately pour batter into prepared pans.\r
    3. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown. Remove from pans immediately onto cooling racks and remove parchment paper. Let cool completely before slicing in half.

    1 CHOCOLATE COOKIE CRUST \r

    Filling:\r
    2 1/2 CUPS WHOLE MILK\r
    5 OUNCES (155 G) CHOPPED SEMISWEET CHOCOLATE (OR CHOCOLATE CHIPS)\r
    4 LARGE EGG YOLKS\r
    3/4 CUP (185 G) SUGAR\r
    3 TABLESPOONS CORNSTARCH\r
    1/4 TEASPOON SALT\r
    1 1/2 TEASPOONS VANILLA EXTRACT\r

    Topping:\r
    1 CUP HEAVY CREAM\r
    1 TABLESPOON SUGAR\r

    GARNISH: CHOCOLATE CURLS\r

    For the Filling: In a heavy saucepan over medium-high heat, warm the milk and chocolate. Whisk them occasionally until the chocolate is melted.\r
    \r
    In a large bowl, combine the egg yolks and sugar, whisking them until pale yellow. Add cornstarch, salt and vanilla.\r
    \r
    Slowly pour the warm chocolate mixture into the egg mixture, whisking them well.\r
    \r
    Return the mixture to the saucepan, and cook over medium heat until it thickens and begins to bubble slowly, about 7 minutes. Remove the saucepan from the heat, and stir the mixture until its smooth, about 1 minute.\r
    \r
    Pour the chocolate filling into the cookie crust, and smooth it with a spatula. Cover it with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface, and refrigerate it for 2 hours.\r
    \r
    For the Chocolate Curls: Microwave a medium-size chunk of chocolate on low for about 5 seconds. Using a vegetable peeler, slowly and evenly scrape the edge of the chunk until curls form. (If its too cold, the peeler will make ragged shavings instead of curls, so repeat warming the chocolate as necessary.) Refrigerate the curls until ready to use.\r

    For the Topping: Using an electric mixer fitted with a whisk (whip) attachment, beat the cream, sugar and vanilla on medium-high until stiff peaks form.\r
    \r
    Spoon the whipped cream onto the pie, and use a spatula to spread it evenly, being careful not to disturb the chocolate pudding underneath.\r
    \r
    Decorate with chocolate curls.\r
    \r
    Refrigerate the pie until ready to serve, but let it sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before serving.

    »Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Mix together the bananas, peanut butter, applesauce, and vanilla. Add in the oats, nuts, chocolate chips, and coconut; mix until well combined.\r

    »Spoon a rounded 2 tbsp. of the cookie mixture onto the non-stick baking sheet, leaving an inch or two between each and flatten slightly. I placed a few more chocolate chips on top of each cookie. Bake for 15-17 minutes and allow to cool slightly.\r

    1 cup coconut oil, melted\r
    1/3 cup coconut milk\r

    »Preheat the oven to 350°F. Cut the pears in half and place on a baking sheet (I cut a sliver off the other end so they sat upright). Using a spoon, scoop out the seeds.\r

    A lot of time we have heard about Ajwain been a great ingredient which possesses medicinal properties to treat various health concerns! Ajwain is an important ingredient in Indian households and is easily available in the kitchen! Ajwain or Carom seeds contain nutrients and minerals along with fat, protein, fiber, sugar, minerals, calories, etc. We normally use Ajwain, ajowan, omam or carom seeds that play an important role in all the home remedies for cold, cough and chest congestion in babies ,toddlers and adults and so taking cue from there I have tried to make an easy remedy which is quite effective in treating severe cold and cough within a short time! Ajwain seeds are also known t0 increase gastrointestinal secretions which enhances the efficiency of digestive functions. It is effective in relieving severe stomach pain. Thymol, the essential oil extred from Carom seeds are used as anti-berial and anti-fungal. Ajwain which contains the highest percentage of Thymol is used as antiseptic and in the treatment of cough and asthma. Ajwain is also very effective in major respiratory problems such as common cold, cough, bronchitis and nasal congestion.\r

    Ajwain is one of the popular Indian spices and are used by pregnant women during the gestation period and even after delivery as it enhances the digestive power. Since most of the time after delivery, women tend to rest a lot, so ajwain relives them from the gastric issues!\r

    Ajwain has the following medicinal properties-\r
    The thymol, present in ajwain gives it antimicrobial properties and thus helps to relieve congestion. Ajwain seeds are of olive green to brownish color and have oval or elliptical shape. They are very flavoring and these tiny spice seeds have enormous health paybacks too. Ajwain seeds are very beneficial for digestive and respiratory problems. Ajwain kadha or herbal concoction with ajwain can be given to babies of 6 months and above. It is a very simple and effective recipe to combat cough and cold.\r

    Ingredients:\r

    Ajwain – 1 teaspoon\r
    Tulsi leaves – 8 to 10\r
    Dry ginger powder – 1/2 teaspoon (optional)\r
    Clove – 1\r
    Black pepper – 5\r
    Turmeric – 1/2 teaspoon\r
    Jaggery – 1/3 cup\r
    Water – 1/2 cup\r

    Method of Preparation-\r
    \r
    Add all the ingredients in a heavy bottomed pan and boil for 10 minutes. Strain the liquid, let it cool and then give it to your little one.\r
    \r
    For new born babies and above 1 year, 2 tablespoons of honey can also be added to the recipe/ kadha (once it is cold) and then can be given!\r
    Dosage:\r
    \r
    Babies between 6 months to year can have 1 teaspoon twice a day. They can have it twice in morning post meal and in night for three consecutive days.\r
    \r
    Kids above 18 months can be given 1.5tsp, twice a day. It can be given two times in morning and 3 times at night.\r
    \r
    For babies above 1 year: 1.5-2 tsp in the morning, afternoon & after meals and at night for 3 days. Ajwain is not that effective if it is taken with other cough syrups or medicines. So please do not take any other medicine or cough syrups along with Ajwain!\r

    3 cups cake flour\r
    1 Tablespoon baking powder\r
    ½ teaspoon salt\r
    16 Tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature\r
    2 cups sugar\r
    5 large eggs, at room temperature\r
    1-1/4 cups buttermilk, at room temperature\r
    1 Tablespoon vanilla extr\r
    20 Oreo cookies (halves, with the cream filling attached)\r

    Frosting:\r
    \r
    8 Tablespoons butter, at room temperature\r
    ½ cup vegetable shortening\r
    4 cups powdered sugar (1 pound)\r
    ½ teaspoon vanilla extr\r
    6 Tablespoons Oreo cookies, finely crushed (I used the halves from the cupcakes without the filling)\r
    Oreos cut in half for garnish, or Mini Oreos\r
    \r
    Preheat oven to 350°. \r
    \r
    Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners. Twist Oreos in half and set aside the extra cookies for crushing for the frosting. Place the side with cream filling in the bottom of each cupcake liner, cream side up.\r
    \r
    Combine the flour, baking powder and salt in a medium bowl. Set aside. Cream butter and sugar in the bowl of an electric mixer. Add the eggs, one at a time and beat after each addition. Combine the buttermilk and vanilla. Alternately add the dry ingredients and the liquid to the batter, beginning and ending with the dry ingredients.\r

    Fill lined cupcake tins with the batter. Bake 15-18 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool 10 minutes in pan before transferring to a cooling rack.\r

    For the frosting, in the bowl of electric mixer, cream the butter and shortening on medium-high speed until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.\r

Add the vanilla flavoring and the Oreo crumbs and mix well. ***This was a very stiff frosting and because I wanted to pipe it on the cupcakes, I added a little bit of milk to get the consistency that I desired. \r

    You need: 2 cups of water, 1 cup of salt, 2 cups of all purpose flower ,5 teaspoons of cream of tartar, 2 table spoons of oil any kind, we use olive oil, and this is optional you can use food coloring any colors you like to paint your play dough.\r

    First boil the water, then add the salt and stir softly only a couple of times, in a bowl mix your flower and the cream of tartar, add the oil, next add the water and mix with a spoon, let it cool down for 10 to 15 min and star working the dough with your hands until you get a really soft consistency last but nit least add the food coloring to your dough and mix again.     Heres our hunger busting burrito recipe - a great one to try for a quick and easy dinner! \r
    A great one to share with friends (young and old) for lunch or dinner! \r

    Heres the recipe: \r

    6 pack of wraps or tortillias - (ideally 100% corn or wholemeal but if not white will do fine!)\r
    \r
    Spicy cous cous:\r
    250g wholemeal cous cous\r
    boiling water\r
    1 tsp cumin\r
    1/2 tsp chilli\r
    1/2 tsp salt\r
    1/2 tsp smoked paprika if you have it\r
    \r
    \r
    \r
    Refried beans:\r
    1 can blackbeans/ red beans\r
    3 cloves garlic\r
    Juice of 1 lime\r
    2 tsp cumin \r
    1/2 tsp salt\r
    3 tbsp water\r
    Coriander to garnish\r
    \r
    chunky tomato corn guacamole:\r
    2 ripe avocados\r
    1/2 juice of 1 limes\r
    1/2 cloves of garlic\r
    8 cherry tomatoes\r
    1/2 teaspoon of ground cumin\r
    1/2 teaspoon of salt\r
    pinch of ground chilli\r
    pinch of black pepper\r
    fresh coriander\r
    100 g of cooked sweet corn from a can\r

    sour cream tahini mayo:\r
    4 tbsp tahini\r
    juice of 1 lime\r
    1 tbsp agave\r
    4 tbsp water\r

    Spicy cous cous\r
    For the spicy cous cous boil the kettle, in a bowl mix the cous cous with all the spices, cover with boiling water until covered approx ½ inch above the level of the dry cous cous. Cover with a lid and leave to cook for 5 mins\r

    Refried beans:\r
    Add 2 tbsp of oil to your frying pan and turn on medium heat, chop the garlic finely and fry the garlic until it starts to go golden, rinse and wash your canned beans. Add to the garlic in the hot frying pan and add in the rest of the ingredients, stir regularly and start to mash slightly with a wooden spoon. This should take about 4 mins once ready, season to your pallet and once tasting great rip up some coriander to add freshness and vitality.\r

    Guacamole:\r
    chop the avocados into small bite sized piece into a big bowl, add the rest of the ingredients and mash slightly so everything comes together - adjust the seasoning if you want to but it should taste great as it is!\r

    Sour cream tahini:\r
    add all ingredients to a bowl and mix well until reaches a mayonnaise like consistency\r
    \r
    take your wrap and add the ingredients as you like - roll it and heat on the pan till it starts to crisp up and is warm - enjoy!\r

    200 grams heavy / whipping cream\r
    microwave for 30 seconds and stir until melted. You may find that you need to return the mixture to the microwave for an additional 10 seconds, then stir until all is combined and melted. \r

    I melted white chocolate with a touch of vegetable oil (approximately 1/4 cup of white chocolate for each colour, added in one to 2 drops of gel food colour and about 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil so it doesnt seize). \r

  • Braided Nutella Bread in 50 Minutes - Episode 215 - Baking with Eda

    9 mini Nutella breads\r

    240 ml yogurt\r
    1 egg \r
    100 ml vegetable oil\r
    370 gr all purpose flour\r
    1 sachet baking powder\r
    1/2 teaspoon salt\r
    1 tsp vanilla extr\r
    Filling:\r
    Nutella\r
    handful chopped walnuts\r
    \r
    1 tbsp melted butter\r
    \r
    \r
    Instructions\r
    \r
    1. Preheat your oven to 180C(356F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.\r
    \r
    2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the yogurt, egg, oil, baking powder, salt and vanilla extr. Stir in half of the flour. Add the remaning flour and knead until elastic and smooth. Add more flour if dough is too sticky. \r
    \r
    3. On a floured surface, Divide dough into 9 pieces. Roll each dough out. Spread 1 tbsp Nutella onto each dough. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts. \r
    \r
    4. Roll the dough starting at the long side to the other end. Pinch the ends tight and place the seem end at the bottom. Now using a serrated knife cut the rolled log shaped dough in the middle into 2 leaving one end int. Now carefully twist the cut end facing upwards so that the Nutella can be seen. Now start braiding by twisting them one over another. Pinch the ends together. Make sure you use enough flour on the dough and the rolling surface to make it workable. Form a circle and pinch the ends. Repeat with remaining flour.\r
    \r
    5. Brush top of each braided bread with melted butter and top with some chopped walnuts. Bake in preheated oven for about 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven.\r
    \r
    6. Brush more melted butter on top of each braided bread. Serve warm or cold.

Follow by a shampoo and rinse with cold water. Repeat daily or as often as you want. Follow this by a cool water shampoo and rinse. Repeat daily or as often as you like. Keep the unused portion away from heat and sunlight. \r

    Coconut milk, avocado and lemon juice.\r
    Ayurvedic medicine uses this resource to stop a receding hairline and promote new hair growth.\r
    Combine half a freshly peeled 4 tablespoons avocado with coconut milk. Mix in 2 tablespoons of lemon juice and mix or blend in a blender for 15 seconds. The mixture should be pureed and easy to massage the scalp. Leave this on for 30 minutes and then rinse. Wash with a mild shampoo.

    Ingredients \r

    Noodles (Dried Ramen, udon, buckwheat etc.)\r
    Vegetables (I used sweet pepper and mushrooms) \r
    Scallion\r
    1 Egg\r
    1 1/2 Teaspoon Miso Paste\r
    1 Tablespoon Vinegar \r
    Sriracha \r
    Soy Sauce\r
    Sesame Oil\r
    Honey\r

    - First boil some water! Enough to cook the noodles and to have a broth, after all this is noodle soup! While you wait for the water to boil start thinly slicing your vegetables. You can use any vegetables really, but I used sweet red pepper, and mushrooms (thinly slicing your vegetables ensures that you vegetables will cook quickly). Once you water comes to a boil add your noodles! I used dried ramen noodles, you can use something else if you want. As your noodles start to cook add the miso paste, vinegar, Sriracha, soy sauce and a splash of sesame oil mix. Then add your whole egg (for a soft boil egg cook for 6 minutes, hardboiled around 10 minutes and take out and put in cool water). If you want the crispy noodles on top then remove some of the noodles and place on a paper towel to dry. Then in a pan add oil and noodles and crisp up! Add sliced vegetables into broth and let it cook down. To balance out the flavors I added a bit of honey. Let it cook down more. Plate and top with chopped scallion, crispy noodle (optional) and egg!\r

    Remember to taste you food throughout the cooking process! You never know what you may need to add or what other flavors you may want in your food! Mix it up and experiment! \r
