Doesnt stop us from being scared of insects though, and its not a totally irrational fear, it would seem. \r

Have any bumps under your skin? Have you been to south or central america recently? Then you may very well have a bot fly larvae living underneath your skin. This small flying insect spends its larvae stage inside a living mammal, feeding off the blood and butrients. The Bot Fly injects its eggs through its bite, deeply injecting its eggs into the sub-dermis. \r

Bullet Ants\r
While not exly deadly, the Bullet Ant has, objectively, the most painful insect bite known to man. Victims of a Bullet Ant bite liken the pain to being shot by a .45 caliber round. The bug is also known as the 24-hour ant because the intense pain will last for an entire 24 hour period. \r

Ticks arent generally that big of a threat. Probably the hardest place in Pattaya to get decent footage from as you are watched like a hawk in many bars. On this night I wasnt feeling good and almost fell off a bar stool at one of the open fronted bars. So I made a quick exit with just a couple of random shots from the Queen Vic and the street.\r

This is the largest of its type of bar in Pattaya by far, but inside it can feel empty even if its busy. The jail theme is a good one, they have cheap draught beer and some very pretty ladies inside so its a good bar overall. \r

However one thing bugs me about this bar. Im always curious as to why they use either old or overweight ladies as the promo girls. Its much better to have a system like the Skyfall bar where they rotate some of the best lookers outside to bring in the customers :)\r

Many of the ladies are fair skinned and have had cosmetic surgery on their noses to make them appeal to these mainly Japanese and Korean customers. After the crap hits the fan even the smallest of things can cause much pain and or threaten your way of life. I have tested this as well as using a potato in my room when sick to pull out infections or beria from the air. With that being said, I also use it in my ear(juice) to aid my body with recovery from a infection or ache due to being hit in the ear or cut that might get infected and cause a problem. \r
Onions are known to be a cont antibiotic and antiberial.Meaning when put on an infection, they go to work on it! Its a expectorant and that is why its used when someone has a upper respiratory infection and are trying to breath better. Simply steep it and drink! I know, it taste nasty.but what do I always say? If it tastes good its most likely NOT good for us! Bitter is better and sour is power! ;) \r

Place onion juice in ear and lay on other ear for a few moments. Allow it to soak in and when you feel it has done that stand up and let the onion juice drain out of the effected ear. I normally place a cotton ball in the hurting ear to allow heat build up and prevent cold air from blowing into the ear canal. This is similar to placing a warm cloth over the hurting ear. You dont have to do this but I prefer to. DO NOT place anything in the ear if you believe you have a hole in the ear drum, seek your Doctor right away. DO NOT place any chunks from the onion in the ear, this can get lodged in the ear and cause a hole in the drum OR even other further issues. \r
NOTE: onion juice wontlike RX ear drops that evaporate. YOU MUST drain the ear after you place the juice in it and massage the area. DO NOT leave onion juice in your ear. You will feel as though the ear is full when you place the juice in it to start with, this is normal and should go away when you drain the ear. -----much like getting out of the shower or pool and shaking the water out of the ear as you normally would.\r

Ramadan starts in Cairo with religious values and family ties

Cairo, Jun 7 (EFE), (Camera: Mohamed Siali).- Cairo started the month of Ramadan on Monday with almost empty streets and closed cafes, while Egyptians seek to restore their religious values and to boost their familial ties, despite ongoing economic hardships.

The streets of Cairo, notorious for their endless traffic jams, were almost empty on Monday with only a few pedestrians walking to mosques or to stores under the blazing sunshine.

Most of the coffee shops and stores were closed, while some restaurants took advantage of the month to undergo renovations.

Among the open stores were those selling lanterns, which are hung by Egyptians in their homes and streets throughout the month of Ramadan.

Abdallah al-Shazli, owner of a lantern store in Mohandessin told EFE that customers started buying lanterns from him three months before Ramadan, and stressed that it is a very important symbol for Egyptians during the holy month.

The director of Cultural Heritage at the French University in Egypt, Fikri Hassan told EFE that using lanterns dates back to the Fatimid era (909-1171).

Ramadan is a month of worship for Muslims and Egyptians, as many Muslims are more committed to saying prayers and reading the Quran during this time, while they abandon other habits that are forbidden by Islam, such as drinking alcohol.

In Ramadan, people prefer to spend more time with their relatives and to pray in mosques, as well as having Suhoor, the meal taken before the start of fasting, together.

Abdeltawab, a merchant in Khan al-Khalili who sells his goods to tourists, told EFE that Ramadan this year comes amid hard economic difficulties, as well as the collapse of the Egyptian pound against the U.S. dollar.

He also added that Egyptians and Arabs make up the majority of his customers after the recent collapse of tourism in the country.
