The Ting Tings - Be The One

Be The One is the upcoming single from The Ting Tings debut album We Started Nothing. It follows the successful releases of their singles “Great DJ”, “Shut Up and Let Me Go”, and their UK number one hit “That’s Not My Name”. It was originally slated for release October 6, 2008, but now it is slated for release on October 13, 2008. On 10 September 2008, Be The One made it on to the radio playlist, it debut onto the C-List.

B.B. King is the greatest living exponent of the blues and considered by many to be the most influential guitarist of the latter part of the 20th century. His career dates back to the late forties and despite now being in his eighties he remains a vibrant and charismatic live performer. B.B. King has been a frequent visitor to the Montreux festival, appearing nearly 20 times, so choosing one performance was no easy task. This 1993 concert will surely rank as one of his finest at any venue. With a superb backing band and a great set list its a must for any blues fan.

Gaz Reynolds recent interview on HCR FM (Harrow Community Radio) on the Gary Walker Breakfast Show attracted a whopping 3.5 million listeners from around the world.

The show which is broadcast on FM and streamed online is a popular Breakfast Show which is broadcast from Harrow in London.

'Plastic Girl Regeneration' is Gaz's latest single available at iTunes and all major retailers which has been attracting worldwide recognition on radio, television and online featuring remixes by DJ Somiak and guest vocals by the late Disco Legend Viola Wills.

The single has generated so much interest Gaz has been interviewed on Music Box TV, BPM TV, Euro Dance 100 and has appeared on Nick Ferrari's Breakfast Show on LBC Radio.

Gaz was even asked to enter the Celebrity Big Brother House in the UK but had to decline due to other commitments.

Gaz Reynolds said on the HCR FM interview; 'I've been overwhelmed by the response that I've received as I've been away from the music scene for 3 years'.

Since the interview aired on Harrow Community Radio (HCR FM) it's been blogged online attracting hundreds of thousands of additional listeners from around the world and has even won an online award!.

The single which entered the international dance charts at no.5 has seen Gaz reunited with his fans after a 3 year break from the music industry and has opened up the doors to a new generation of followers.

GOMIDAS VARTABED or KOMITAS (1869-1935)

One of the most renowned Armenian Churchmen and musician of modern times was Gomidas Vartabed, also known as Komitas. Komitas wrote over three thousand songs in Armenian, Arabic, Kurdish, and Persian, and also contributed significantly to the modern Armenian Badarak. In addition to the folk music, Komitas arranged the entire music of the Divine Liturgy (Badarak) of the Armenian Church, for male voices.
After the April 24, 1915 massacres of the Armenian people by the Turks, he succumbed to mental and physical anguish and never fully recovered. Komitas lived as if a walking corpse for the next twenty years. The revered holy man died in Paris on October 22, 1935 in a mental hospital. One year after his death his ashes were transferred to Yerevan and interred in the Yerevan Pantheon. In the 1950's his manuscripts were transported from Paris to Yerevan where they were being studied and published .

Lusine Zakaryan
Born Svetlana Zakarian (1937, Akhaltsikhe, Georgian SSR -1992), was an Armenian opera singer (soprano). She grew up in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of southern Georgia. In 1952 she moved with her family to Yerevan, where she attended a secondary music school. She entered the Yerevan Conservatory in 1957 and her singing talent soon became clear. From 1970 to 1983 Zakarian was a soloist with the symphony orchestra of Armenian TV and Radio. She also sang in the choir of the Armenian Apostolic Church's main church at Echmiadzin. Zakarian was known for singing the international opera repertoire as well as Armenian traditional and church music.

Venezuela ocupa el quinto lugar en el mundo de usuarios de Twitter / Especialista preguntó, al ser entrevistado en VTV, qué hubiera pasado si suspensión de cuentas hubieran sido en ministerios y medios de EEUU
Caracas, 1 de noviembre de 2013.- A sólo cuatro párrafos del título “Condiciones de Servicio”, la empresa californiana Twitter advierte que “puede interrumpir (de forma temporal o permanente) la prestación de los Servicios (o cualquiera de las características de los Servicios) a usted o a todos los usuarios en general y, en estas circunstancias, es posible que Twitter no pueda notificarle este hecho con antelación”.

Sin duda esta indicación es pasada por alto por casi el 100 por ciento de los usuarios en esta red social. Esto lo alertó el experto en temas web Luigino Bracci, en el espacio Mesa Informativa, de VTV, para referirse al riesgo latente de usar esta herramienta y otras.

“El Estado debe saber que lo más importante no es la cuenta, sino la atención que se le da a los venezolanos directamente mediante páginas web, el Twitter es un complemento”.
“No podemos hacer mucho, como usuarios, ni siquiera estamos en Estados Unidos. Esa empresa no tiene ninguna explicación que darnos. Van a pasar esas cosas, nos van a bloquear”, sin embargo comparó: “Imagínate si esto hubiera pasado en varios departamentos o ministerios o en algunos medios norteamericanos como Los Ángeles Times, o un medio venezolano como El Universal o Globovisión, se habría dicho por todos lados que es un atentado a la libertad de expresión”.

Remarcó que las seis mil cuentas suspendidas evidencian una “una violación a la libertad de expresión; la suspensión de cuentas de dos medios importantes, Ciudad Caracas, y la Radio del Sur –que tiene una red de emisoras-, de Catatumbo TV, una televisora zuliana y las cuentas de tres ministros del Gobierno Bolivariano”.

Bracci advirtió: “nos hace falta un trabajo más fuerte para poder blindarnos. El hecho de que el Estado venezolano utilice los servicios que proveen las empresas extranjeras (es peligroso). El correo Gmail lamentablemente es muy utilizado en todos los entes del Estado, en empresas como Pdvsa, en la misma Cancillería”.

“Esto que ocurrió ayer (jueves) lo que tiene es que hacernos reflexionar. Si esto nos pasó con una cuenta de Twitter, imagínense lo que podría pasar en un Estado por estar dependiendo de una plataforma externa, ubicada en otro país, la perdiéramos. ZGM.
