Según Under Armour, Stephen Curry sólo llevará zapatillas que chirríen cuando esté en la cancha.  
Kort Neumann, diseñador jefe de las Curry 3, habló de las preferencias de calzado del atleta durante una entrevista reciente con ThePostGame.  
Dijo que Curry está muy involucrado en el proceso de diseño de sus zapatillas y sus requisitos específicos para ellas.  
Neumann afirma que a Curry "le gusta la comodidad" y "adora el chirrido de la tracción en la cancha".  
Por su parte, el director senior de línea de producto, Ron Johnson, reveló que todas las zapatillas que la empresa diseña para Curry tienen que pasar "la prueba del chirrido".  
Si no oye el 'chirrido' en cuanto pisa la cancha, no es lo suficientemente bueno - Ron Johnson.  
Neumann explicó que el chirrido es importante para la estrella de la NBA, ya que es "un indicador para él de que [la zapatilla] se clava en el suelo".
