BMW AG presentó hoy su renovado Z4 2009, el cual presume ina imagen más atlética, moderna y elegante, mientras que el interior además de ser más lujoso y equipado, cuenta con nuevos sistemas de seguridad y para hacer más placentera la estancia de los pasajeros.
El nuevo BMW Z4 2009 el cual será una grandes estrellas en el Salón del Detroit -, cuenta además con sustanciales mejorías en su apartado motor/mecánico que le confieren una mayor maniobrabilidad, prestaciones y dinamismo de marcha.
La comercialización del renovado BMW Z4 iniciara en la primavera del 2009, y competirá directamente con el nuevo Porsche Cayman, el mercedes SLK y el Audi TT.
Como suele ser habitual en el rediseño de un modelo, el nuevo Z4 2009 ha crecido en todas sus dimensiones en relación a su predecesor. Es más largo (148 mm) y ancho (9 mm) que el modelo actual. Tiene una cajuela de 180 ó 310 litros (dependiendo del estado del techo), y el habitáculo ofrece ahora 44 mm extra para la cabeza. A esto podemos añadir que según BMW, la visibilidad lateral y trasera ha aumentado un 40% y un 52% respectivamente gracias al nuevo diseño del techo.
En cuento a su aspecto, este nuevo roadster presenta unas líneas más atléticas y estilizadas, inspiradas en la carrocería del concept car GINA Light Visionary Model, y que han sido aderezadas por nuevos elementos de estilo de gran contraste, como sus nuevas ópticas delanteras, su parrilla más estilizada y el diseño de las nuevas defensas y las calaveras traseras, entre otros, que en conjunto le brindan una apariencia decididamente elegante y deportiva.
Lo más llamativo es su nuevo techo duro electro-hidráulico, formado por dos piezas sólidas, que permite segundos transformarlo en tan sólo 20 de un copé deportivo en un hermoso descapotable.
El nuevo BMW Z4 2009 estará disponible en tres versiones: BMW Z4 sDrive23i, BMW Z4 sDrive30i y BMW Z4 sDrive35i, todos ellos dotados con motores de seis cilindros que ofrecen una mayor potencia y un menor consumo de combustible y emisiones contaminantes.
El BMW Z4 sDrive23i tendrá un desplazamiento de 2.497 cc que generará 204 Hp a 6,200 rpm y un par motor de 250 Nm a 2,950 rpm, cifras que le permitirán acelerar de 0 a100 km/h en 6,6 s (7,3 s con Sport-Automatic), mientras que su velocidad máxima esta limitada a 242 km/h (239 km/h)
El BMW Z4 sDrive30i tendrá un desplazamiento de 2,979 cm3, 258 Hp a 6,600 rpm y un torque de 310 Nm a 2,750 rpm, permitiéndole hacer el 0 a100 km/h: 5,8 s (6,1 s con Sport-Automatic)y alcanzar una velocidad máxima de 250 km/h
Por último, el BMW Z4 sDrive35i tendrá un motor biturbo de 2,979 cc que eroga 306 Hp a 5,800 rpm hy un par motor de 400 Nm a 1,300-5,000 rpm, cifras que le permiten acelerar de 0 a100 km/h en 5,2 s (5,1 s con cambio de doble embrague) y alcanzar los 250 km/h como velocidad máxima.
De serie, la caja de cambios será un manual de seis velocidades, reemplazable por un automático con levas en el volante o, en el caso del sDrive35i, emplear una transmisión de doble embrague.
Junto al cambio DCT, una de las novedades más importantes es la llegada de la suspensión adaptativa M, mediante la cual se podrá configurar los amortiguadores en tres posiciones distintas (en el punto más deportivo, la carrocería desciende 10 mm). Por su parte, el control de conducción DDC permitirá modificar parámetros como la respuesta de la dirección, el confort de marcha, el funcionamiento del control de estabilidad, y, en los modelos automáticos y DCT, los tiempos de cambio.
Tal y como vienen da fábrica, todos los Z4 incorporarán varios avances tecnológicos como el EfficientDynamics, incluyendo frenos regenerativos, dirección asistida eléctrica, neumáticos de baja resistencia, y un indicador que señala el mejor momento para cambiar de marcha. Terminando el repaso técnico, el navegador multimedia cuenta con un disco duro de 12 GB y conexión a Internet mediante el sistema ConnectedDrive.
